Ohh ok that make sense!
I actually managed to finish :D I’ll have to check back in when updated!
Absolutely love it! Really cool idea, like others have said, a little tutorial would be welcomed. Maybe have a little space where you can temporary put the ropes, had trouble picking the rope I wanted sometimes, I believe it's last in first out, but maybe something like outlining it and being able to choose would be a nice quality of life. But other than that this is super cool! Art is soo cute! Love the rope physics and the sounds. A Lot of levels for a jam! For now I go stuck on a level, for some reason everything is green, but door doesn't open? I feel like it's not the solution, but probably just a bug. I'll comeback to try and finish it. With little work, I can see this being a full game, impressive work!
Cool game! I feel like have more time to complete the levels would be nice, and maybe multiple "medals" type of score, with it being so tight, the last level feels a bit long since if you miss the mark by like 1 second, you have to redo everything anyway. But I understand why it's like that, fits the theme better. Art is nice an the cutscenes are a nice touch! Overall a great entry, good work!
Very cute! A great unique idea. The difficulty ramps up nicely and there is quite a bit of levels for a jam! I know I'm probably dumb, but I though the menu was broken at first... The letter idea for it is neat but maybe having some mouse controls would be nice as well. But a really great game overall, nicely polished with a lot of content, good work!
Great game! The art is cool, love the little fruit characters, very cute! The controls feel nice, maybe the jump is a tiny bit short, but it's probably the fact that I'm terrible at platformers haha. I don't feel like there is one, maybe I'm wrong, but a little input buffer for the jump would be nice I think. The fact you have the choice of replaying the same level is such a nice touch, next step is being able to share the seed maybe?! All that for a first game? Very impressive, excellent work!
Really cool! I almost missed out on the experience due to that first level haha. The art is very cool and the overall aesthetic feels polished, the mini games are simple but nice. Maybe the one with the statues could be a bit clearer, clicking on them turned down the opacity, but only dragging/moving them actually did something (just tested, it's actually the windows build that doesn't change the cursor for some reason, the online one is fine). A lot of attention to details, excellent work!
Great Entry! The art is very nice, the snake changing size is cool and the night time is very spooky... I think maybe there should still be a way back up if you fall down too far, maybe like further to the side so it takes longer. But the player controls are nice, like the jumping/wall climbing. Don't know if it was a bug , but it's missing some sounds to make it complete. Other than that, nice work!
Really nice game! I think it would benefit from a small in-game tutorial but that's understandable considering the jam context. I really like the idea of placing card in a loop with the middle card getting triggered twice, great take on the theme. The art looks really good and the music fits the atmosphere well. Nice work!
Neat idea. I had to give up after the fire wall as it was a bit too hard for me. If I may give some feedback, some audio was playing at certain point, but you can't really listen because you just move past it. The swinging was tough on me, I'm probably just very bad at it, but maybe the player should give a bit less swing force with the input. With a bit more polish this could be good. Nonetheless, great work!
(Oh and on itch, you should be able to mark the executable as a Windows build, which allows the itch app to install it directly I think. Just a nitpick)
I like the idea! The execution leave a bit to be desired in some area. The driving was actually really fun, the car controls great and the nitro minigame is a nice touch. Sadly the road geometry is a bit messed up and you glich through quite a lot. With some more polish there is a solid idea here, great work!
Really nice looking game! The controls are a bit hard at first but after a while you do get used to them. Nice music choice goes really well with the atmosphere and impeccable art! Felt like the rock hitbox was a bit on the large size at times but I'm probably just really bad at the game x) only managed 15 for now. A lot of attention to details, great work!
Super cute! Nice take on the incremental game, definitely quite challenging. The upgrades are interesting even if some are basically required at some point. Maybe make it so you can go from shop to shop without resuming the game, if you swap too quickly with the keys the game keeps going in the background, but that's a small thing. Good work!
I'm not one for horror games, but this is well made! Nice integration of the theme, the writing is pretty good and the whole experience feels nicely polished. A small nitpick would be, when in a dialogue, pressing the use/e key should either do nothing or advance through it instead of starting again, but like I said, small nitpick. Great entry!
Great game! Music and art are very nice, the idea is cool, maybe the canon could go a bit further to the sides as it was quite challenging to hit the ones on the sides past a certain point. I felt like the ammo boxes falls a bit fast, or maybe need a little warning before they come on screen. But just little nitpicks, overall a very impressive solo work!
Really fun game! Like others have said, making the bike go a bit faster would probably be even better! But a generally very polished and fun experience. Had one bug were I was stuck on the track editor and had to restart but thankfully the game saves so I didn't lose much. The customisation is also a nice touch, very nice work!
Really nice game! The art looks very good and the whole experience is very polished. The audio and music goes nicely with the ambiance as well. The level design is great, I found that those last 2 levels definitely crank up the difficulty which is nice and shows this could possibly be extended into a full game. Excellent job!
Yeah I know the struggle too well! Was first jam for our team as well and we did take some time deciding on the idea, which limited what we could implement as well. But like you said, a lot of good lessons learnt and what you have in the end is definitely nothing to be ashamed of, especially for basically half the time!
