I think that would be a great quality of life feature!
Also maybe instead of allowing the player to move backwards and potentially break level design, you give them a speed-up/boost button which could lower the frustration of repetition and raise the skill ceiling :)

Great use of the theme! The minigames are fun and some quite challenging, but the progression loop kept me hooked. The really like the art style and the ambient audio complements it! There was some frustration with being reset to the beginning after death, but replaying the minigames can be fun and mastering each stage is rewarding so it's not a huge issue. Overall I would highly recommend this game, great work!
What an awesome take on both snake and the theme of the game jam. The puzzles were very well designed and the introduction of new mechanics was done at a great pace. The art style is super cute and the sounds were charming and fitting. Incredible game with lots of polish, you can really tell the whole dev team poured their passion into this project. Amazing stuff!
The game's premise was interesting and fits the theme and the first time running through was fun, however after getting upgrades and dying I got sent back to the start of the game with no upgrades. The autoscrolling level made this quite frustrating as the run back wasn't challenging, but maybe it's a skill issue. Really nice work making a full game in just one day though, huge props!
I really enjoyed the opening and the game's sense of humour was really entertaining. I thought I understood the mechanics and spent 10 minutes trying to launch the egg over the first hurdle but couldn't manage. I think with a more informative tutorial this game has some potential but I just couldn't figure out the first step. Very cute game!
This game has so much style and it was such a creative play on the "loop" theme. Addictive gameplay loop and super polished player experience. The music was funky and you feel great when you pull off a sick combo while banishing a poor old grandpa to the depths of hell. Definitely highly recommending this one, amazing stuff!
The mystery of the game got me hooked, and the "loop" theme was incorporated amazingly. This game has a great amount of content with things to unlock and places to explore. The worldbuilding expressed with the limited visuals made me visualise the worlds being discovered which helped with the mysterious nature of the story. Really impressive submission, I would highly recommend this to anyone who loves a good adventure!
I loved the character design and I felt the heaviness of the golem with the physics, and the level was fun to explore despite being linear. The persistent unlockable abilities were well implemented and gave me some "aha" moments. My main feedback would be to alter the controls to more traditional buttons (or let the player choose them) and to add some more quality of life features which are commonplace in most modern platformers like coyote time and smoothed player acceleration to alleviate some minor frustrations with movement.
Great game overall!
