The game's premise was interesting and fits the theme and the first time running through was fun, however after getting upgrades and dying I got sent back to the start of the game with no upgrades. The autoscrolling level made this quite frustrating as the run back wasn't challenging, but maybe it's a skill issue. Really nice work making a full game in just one day though, huge props!

Thank you for playing. You're right—I should probably allow players to restart from where they obtain the power-ups.
The purpose of autoscrolling is to force the player to loop back, but it might be interesting to add a power-up that allows movement to the left and right.

I think that would be a great quality of life feature!
Also maybe instead of allowing the player to move backwards and potentially break level design, you give them a speed-up/boost button which could lower the frustration of repetition and raise the skill ceiling :)
