If I do an endless version, I'll be sure to tag you !

The twist is a loop : how clever me :p. I'm glad you thought it was fun !

Yeah, if this was IRL, I would amass like 50 millions, then I'll go back to my parents house !

It's hard to know where you are scoring points or not. Do you score the max points when at least one player is satisfied ? or is it multiplied by the number of player satisfied ? Some of the players are still frowning even if they are happy and scoring points. Maybe you should add a green circle when they are happy, or just grey them out when they are not happy.

TSM. Every year, I stumble uppon a game that inpsire me for next year. Last year, it was an entry about narration through gameplay. I think, next year, thanks to YOUR entry, I'll try to do a clean puzzle game (WP again for the base mecanic idea, really original.).

I first I was like : I don't understand a single thing. Then I got it. And it was just amazing chaos. Great job !

This is so original to have this infinite energy by managing to make a loop with the current while being powered at least once. I'm intrigued, how is it coded ? do you have a abstract node model of the puzzle ? with classes like plug and multiplug ?

Never in a millions year i would have come with an idea like that. Congrats !

Very clean, very neat

I mean, entries like this are actual video game. You could barely recognize it was a Game Jame Game. Really impressive !

I definitively want to come back later and try to improve my run !

This is so creative, I love it. I can't wait to see different cards and to build you deck !

If you haven't you should check party house from UFO 50, it will inspire you I think.

Nothing to say when everything is perfect. Loved the vibe and the originality

I'm sorry if i didn't understood how to play but having a vertex of the triangle following the mouse made the game impossible to play for me. But I love Pico8 games, they look so clean !

Glad you enjoyed it. Sorry if my UI was unclear. The 1st line is the current money you have (after expenses), the 2nd the overall money you've ever gathered, and the last one is how much money you make by Lap.

I agree, I was not able to make interesting tracks. I wanted to make challenging tracks and I ended up making them unfair. The car physics would also benefit from better brakes and less drift. But the unbalanced progression is intended and it tells a story !

Glad you enjoyed it. And yeah, i wanted a complicated 1st track and a way too easy last track to represent running becoming pointless. But the 1st and second track seem more unfair than challenging and I apologize for that. Making a compelling track on such a small surface was out of my reach.

What an ungrateful child XD No but I'm so happy you like it !

Thank you. I'll be sure to add more feedback if I betray the moral of this game and make an actual idle game out of it ahah.

And the game had bump sounds when you hit the wall, haven't you heard it ? But yeah, it was missing a lot of other SFX/VFX to make the feeling juicier.

Very creative on the interpretation of the loop theme. The fish part was so hard ahah

Amazing scope for a gamejam. I'm a big fan of TRPG so i loved it

Some of the feedback are off, but the overall experience was so pleasing. I loved it !

This is a so smart autobattler. I loved it. One of my favorite entry from the jam. Great use of the loop theme and great game loop.

Very original game play. But i would have love if the sample had more noticeable beat to count the 8 bar each time.

TSM. Coming from your team, it means a lot. And yeah I tried to tell a story about burnout and neglecting family member. And from the reply I got, the message was received.

Pretty clean game ! i love the sega vibe

Where you I event start. Perfect picture was the game that inspire my entry this year, so i wanted to see your production this year. You've managed to make a game with : original puzzle mechanics, cozy/chill vibes. Amazing art and sound. Linear difficulties. And there are so much little stuff that make the games better : having to put plates in front of client helps you to start the puzzle, the arrows on the trails makes you understand instantly which direction the trail is facing, the added top down view to solve the puzzle better... 100/100 game

Very clever to use chess move as attack. Most people will instantly understand the gameplay. Very clever.

Whaaaaaaaaaaat. It's just so clever. And I have no idea how you coded that. Puzzle platforming is bold to do in a GMTK jam as a lot of people will do it, but you've managed to do something : original, with a good progression from easy to hard, and technically impressive.

One small UI element that wont affect my rating but : I could put the slider out of the screen and it's then hard to drag it back. You should constrain the X position between limits.

I don't know if i played it correctly, but driving like a regular karting game aggro all the cat on me. So I played it slowly, shooting cats from far away. But the scope is amazing for a gamejam. 3D models + music + various ennemies + sounds. Great job !

I agree. My game is not perfect, but I've tried a lot of racing game from this GameJam and yet mine is still the only one that combines it with incremental. Good for me I guess ahah.

I really like games where you don't even need a tutorial. It's simple, yet very challenging. Great job !

This is your first game jam game ever ??? this is so impressive ! The production value with all the pixel art, the dithering on the health bar, the camera shakes, the sound effect. I'm so impressed. But the gameplay (movement, speed and size of bullet) is a little bit too inaccurate for me (but I understand this is to feed into the fast paced mood).

It's so clever to have to dodge your own attack so you, as a player, dont want to spam shooting too often or else it will be impossible to dodge the coming back boomerang. I had some bug like discharching not working meaning i could always shoot without having to reload. But refreshing the page made the game go away. I feel like the map could have use more enemies. And I don't know why but i would sometimes instantly die with 3 heart while nothing hit me.

Yeah, a tricky part was balancing the game so that driving is OP at the start, but then is useless compared to the idle widget. Reinforcing the message of the story.

Don't worry. I made the game, and i still hit EVERY wall. The track is just too small.

I'm so impressed by how you coded the cutting/resizing interaction and with how it's used by the game for dialogs. It was also so funny. And the art and the mood are just what i love. And I'm sorry but even with your explanation, I did not understand where was the loop.

Once i had done 1 idle game generator, I just had to copy paste them and change their skin. What took a lot of times was : balancing the game so the events of the story happen at the RIGHT time, and programming stuff that were important for the story, but would only be used once (like the widget to upgrade your car, or the widget to improve your money/lap, or the timer).

And yes, the phone is supposed to annoy you, that's why you can only ghost your parents for the 3rd message. But by the end of the 3rd cup, you understand where were the real priorities.

thanks. It's a cute ending yeah !

I'm just glad I was able to convey the story and that people understood it !
