I’m pretty bad at this game and it’s a bit overwhelming because it’s quite complicated (lots of controls and mechanics) even if the core concept is really simple!

The visuals are great though and really relaxing to play just needs a little bit more polish in terms of visual and audio feedback and I think simplifying the mechanics would make it more approachable for a casual player like myself!

really pretty game though live the aesthetics!

A cool version of tetris! At the beginning it's hard to understand what each device does, but you get the hang of it quickly :)

I like the punny title! This game seems like something that would appear in an old-school graphics tech demo. Very abstract and striking. Definitely a unique puzzle concept! Though, I think some small tweaks to the camera controls would go a long way to making the game a bit more approachable, since it is hard to gauge how the lasers line up and how much you should rotate a piece. And maybe this would detract too much from the challenge, but having a "shadow" of where the pieces will drop would at least be a good accessibility option. A cool puzzle game!

Cool idea! My brain hurts now!

With some streamlining and simplification, this could certainly  work as a full app/game! Good job!

this was quite the unique game indeed!

I enjoyed my playthrough a lot, I appreciate the creativity, to take a classic concept like Tetris and spin it this way is quite cool, I totally dig the vaporwave aesthetic too,

quite the fun game, albeit simple in concept, it was totally well executed,

overall a solid entry, great work!

This has immaculate vibes! As a fellow tetris-dev I appreciate the route y'all have taken (it's a lot more big-brain than me). This feels like the sort of game that a small collection of smart people would get extremely obsessed with, like sudoku (or tetris).

P.S. As a fellow weird name-r I love the name on this! 10/10 IGN

Interesting take on tetris concept. I realise the point for the jam theme is that the blocks don't move but I kind of imagine it would be more fun if they did. Presentation is very polished!

Impressive submission for someone alone!

I find the concept very interesting, the look and feel are pretty good too.

I'm not sure the idea can make a great arcade game, but I love that you tried the concept for the jam (that's what they are made for, right?). Keep on doing great stuff like this!

I like twist on the concept of Tetris you have here. I do wish I could get a top down view at times as my personal perspective on the layout sometimes felt a bit wonky. Personally I found things pretty clear once a couple pieces dropped but I did find there was a lot of fiddling with positions to get things lined up as I wanted.

Overall though I really enjoyed this.

Wow, this is a challenging game, and it can get pretty overwhelming in the challenging mode. To me, it feels like a pretty interesting and challenging twist on Tetris. I love vaporwave aesthetics and art.

This is a clever idea and I like the vaporwave theme. The controls could definitely be improved. It's a little complicated to move elements around, especially trying to rotate the block without a visual preview of where it will end up.

Really clever fantastic mechanics my only complaint is that it took me a while to figure out how everything worked but great game good job.

A bit too hard for my dumb brain, but this is really clever!

really fun concept. it can be hard to tell how the shape would be rotated or cut, but it has a lot of potential if you continued development on it

Awesome presentation, and really creative idea. I desperately needed an indicator / ghost of some sort for the rotator though, it was really difficult trying to figure out exactly how the rotation would play out - maybe that point of difficulty is intentional, but at least for chill mode I think it would help the experience a lot.
Very satisfying to slice up discs and slot them in. Great job!

Imaculate vibes. really like the vaporwave theme. I initially thought it was going to be like viyln records that your dropping. Gameplay is very hard, but I think with maybe a bit of simplification the idea could be really intresting. Cool game :)

Developer

Glad you enjoyed the vibes. Vinyl records were the original plan, I wanted to give them labels and effects on the music when they are cut. But the blocks needed to be pretty thick in order to see them properly, so it felt forced and ditched the idea. You can stil think them as records if you want, there are plenty of colorful ones:)

The water looks really good, also the game is not my thing but the concept is interesting :D

Cool idea. Also looks neat. Not 100% sure how fitting it is with the theme though.

Really love the game play. it's very fun! My only issue is that it can be hard to tell what direction the lasers are pointing. Overally great job!

An incredibly challenging puzzle! Feel like this would be fantastic if there were set puzzles where you had to arrange the rotators and lasers to make a specific configuration, as opposed to the tetris endless style.
