Such a wonderful idea!! I'm one of the few people who actually pays attention to the health bar in games, so this almost felt like a game for me! The game itself could use some more polish, and I'm not a fan of how you yourself can hurt the hero if you bump into them, but otherwise a great take!
I'm glad the concept spoke to you! Being able to deal damage to the hero was my way of preventing the player from just keeping the health bar on top of him the whole time, but I'm sure there are other ideas that would accomplish the same thing while eliminating the frustration of accidentally hurting the hero.
Five stars across the board!! This game is amazing! I love the art and the concept, and you have actually made a game that is fun to play! It took me a bit to figure out how to bump the enemies into each other, but once I got it, I had a blast!

This is a fun game! Character's impressions and animations are well made, and idea is creative. Game mechanics are more complex than they seem at first, you can really enjoy mastering this game. I had a good time playing it!

Thank you! I tried to ensure that the hero and enemies moved reliably and consistently when they are hit.
It's really fun! I like that you can bump into the goblin too, making it more challenging and I needed to be more careful while moving around
Thanks! If you're really in a bind, you could also make a desperate attempt to hit pinch past some enemies and towards a potion.

Thank you, I'm happy you enjoyed it! I found a lot of music I was thinking of using, so it was a bit hard to narrow down the choices.
the art style was absolutely wonderful; I really felt as though the health bar was so angry that the player wasn't healing himself (which is fair I was too :D). I really enjoyed playing and trying to get a high score!

Great work! I love both the creativity and visual style of this game, I'm surprised you were not only able to make playing as a health bar fun, but also give the health bar itself a lot of character and life. I do wish it was sometimes easier to herd Pinch out of corners, but I guess that's part of the chaos!
Thank you! Since the health bar was so visually simple, I was able to spend more time giving it unique animations for different situations.
I LOVE the presentation of this. The very simple graphics give this a lot of charm. The sound track works really well, there's some really interesting design here though i wish it was easier not to hit pinch. Really really REALLY solid bit of arcade fun. Amazing job!
Thank you, I'm glad you liked it! I always have fun trying to find music with a fitting style for my jam games. I think the chiptune tracks I found help capture the old RPG/adventure game feeling.

Thanks! Yeah, I went for a very straightforward name! My first thought was "Barry," but I think "Barney" fits better. I wonder if a short name like "Bart" would have been more effective, though?

Very charming concept, and loved the artwork, especially on the menu!
The fact that you have to herd Pinch towards health potions while also swatting away monsters that he will walk into is surprisingly challenging, and adds depth to the gameplay.
Thanks! I tried to add a bit of a narrative on the menu, showing Barney and Pinch right before they enter the dungeon. And yeah, the ability to herd Pinch is a bit of a double edged sword in that you can push him towards potions, but you will push him away if you try to clear the path ahead.
