Some of the good robots were harming me near the end of my game, is that normal?
Other than that I really liked the idea of bad robots becoming friendly :)

How does your game fit the theme?
My answer to the theme is mostly thematic ( robots that are meant to help are out of control, humans-nature relationship out of control ) but is also arguably part of the mechanics (regaining control of the robots and the forest).
Did your team create the art for this game during the 48 hour time slot?

Did your team create the audio for this game during the 48 hour time slot?

The mechanics of the game were a little hard to understand, but smashing robots was still pretty fun!
Hey sampc,
I'm not quite sure how this fits the theme, but anyways :)
I'm guessing the yellow parts between the islands are water or something sicne i loose blue (oxygen or stamina) before i start losing health? This could be made more intuitive with better ux design
Fun smacking drones.
Make some smoother scene transitions.
Well done!
If you have time I would love it if you could try my game and give feed back. Its called Drone.
Really cute idea! Love the concept. Had a lot of fun whacking bad bots!
That was a pretty fun game! You got gameplay, models, animations, sound fx and music into your game within 48hrs which is quite impressive, and your game is 3D as well. Took a little moment to fully realise what exactly the game was about and I'm not entirely sure if it fits the theme well enough either as there isn't really much out of control at all and everything seems pretty fixed and not "out of control" as the theme suggests. Overall a great submission!
If you want, please check out my submission.
I like the presentation, but was a bit confused with what to do. After a few tries I figured out the blue bar would reset on the blue rectangle and it's probably my oxygen ^^
Really cool idea! I had a bit of trouble discerning what was going on, I'd like the little robots that join you to become a bit more obviously yours, maybe with some visual feedback. But I really love the idea and it was pretty fun!
Good stuff! I liked the concept and it's always really impressive to see a 3d game in jams!
First time I played it my helper bots went haywire and started planting lots of trees closely next to each other. My browser did not like that. My second play I knew what the goal was and finished the game in a few seconds. I like the idea, though the game needs a bit of tuning so that you have to balance expanding the forest and chasing down checkpoints.
Haha +1 for spawn camped in single player game. For a one person project, this was such a huge undertaking! Really impressive how much you got in, from animation, sounds, models, code! Congratulations! For constructive feedback, even after reading the instructions I was a little unclear of what I would be doing, so just jumped in, hoping to figure it out. Blue bar is oxygen, and when you run out, it starts degrading your health. I would have liked more feedback on what was happening there. My first time dying was because I ran out of health from suffocating (I think), but it was at the same time I engaged my first big robot and it touched me. I couldn't really tell what was affecting me, which was frustrating.
I love the idea of this game! I think I also would have liked to have been eased into it a bit more. Like a smaller level to learn what was happening, where I had to plant x amount of trees, and then the next level take over y amount of robots. That would have helped provide me a lot of guidance.
Great work though friend! Would love to see more of this!
Decent game and idea but I think it could do with a little bit more polish.
I wasn't sure how I was interacting with the robots. Maybe they killed me.
I like that you took the "Out of Control" prompt and used it for the theming rather than the gameplay. It was a fun time!
