amazing game! this has the polish of a fully released title! super fun gameplay, challenging, yet not impossible. i think some of the SFX could be bit less harsh (especially the victory SFX, that one is like a screech), but overall this game is excellent. i especially found it interesting that more often than not, the player's own gun is the cause of the player's death, either through stray bullets or recoil knocking you into spikes. very creative. great job :D
Good game
Awsome
simply amazing, super polished for a jam game. The art is super sweet, and the gameplay creates a lot of funny situations where i'm a bigger threat to myself than the enemies. The minimal style has a lot of charm. 5/5
I love that this lets you keep the control of the player, but you end up creating your own dangers more so than the actual enemies. Well done!
Well put together, I think having the recoil serve some sort of purpose would have been neat
Maybe you could've given some dual purpose to the kickback, but overall a great entry.
This is a really well done game. I liked how you couldn't just back into a corner and shoot, because then you die, it forces you out in the open, where there is more space to dodge bullets. Fantastic job! Keep it up!
Loved the game and the presentation! Good job!
I love the art style. You did a good job showing how to play through gameplay instead of a wall of text. It fits the theme well and the gameplay is fun, well done :)
Great game! Last room was absolutely cathartic.
Really cool game !
The gun is really (maybe a little too much ?) out of control ! ^^
Really fun game, with more weapon variety I think can be a full game.
Only point to mention is that you guys could had done the door open
when the player could proceed, everything else is amazing!
This is a well made little game. The recoil is crazy!!! would be cool if you could use the recoil a bit in platforming challenges.
Hey Bakonon, I will give you the same reply as someone who commented recently since he said the exact same thing haha,
"what you described is the second mechanic we implemented at the end and didn't have time to put into levels, it's basicly a different gun, that recoils into the ground kicking the player into the air"
we wanted to push the recoils and varity of guns further but ran out of time as we spent so much hours with polishing and juice
Great game. The art style is good. The recoil of the gun really makes it out of control. Some of the levels are too difficult to finish though and i just skip them.
Very nice game with a fantastic art style. It was a little bit hard to control and felt a but annoying when all the bullets would conveniently miss the enemy and then all come right back to hit but but otherwise this was a great game to play! Give my game a try too :)
That's a 5/5 for me! Make more!
Cool game! I really liked the art style. The precision platforming was nice, but it makes me wish the shooting was a bit less out of control. I felt like the ricocheting bullets were more dangerous than the enemies, which made me constantly afraid to shoot. Good stuff!
Seems I'm not the only one who went with a 8-bit-ish colour scheme. This is really fun man. The animations were so simple and so awesome. I really love how you were able to make a simple run-and-gun into a bullet hell with the mechanic of the out of control gun. The recoil and screen-shake were damn satisfying that I just wanted to keep shooting. But of course I had to shoot sparingly as even I would have dodge the projectiles. I really loved this one man. Great job on it :)
