How does your game fit the theme?
The rocket movement is constantly burdened by magnetic fields, and the controls are naturally slippery! >>>NOTE: Due to a bug, if you die in the first level you must exit the game and restart or the music will duplicate itself!

Did your team create the art for this game during the 48 hour time slot?

No

We used pre-existing art

Did your team create the audio for this game during the 48 hour time slot?

Yes

We created all audio during the game jam

The game is fun but the music gets repeated every time you die, so it's just music over music over music

Developer

Yeah that bug was added last second. It only happens on the first level so as long as you survive past it without dying the bug won't happen again. Thanks for playing!

I was kinda tired, and didn't wanted to play it. Then this stupid music started xD

10/10 I felt like the magnets are judging me.

Me

PS. when You fly down the flames take half of the screen and its very hard to tell where You're going. Maybe You could also better highlighted working magnets, that way the player could better know how far he is... But I think I'm just looking for a hole, its cool.

This game is very cool! i like the concept and i really enjoyed it, the only problem is the music bug but i saw you pointed it out yourself and it doesn't matter! good job! Please check out my game too :D

Thanks for playing! I'll definitely play yours as well

Pretty fun!  Loving the concept and lots of creativity with the levels.

Part of me wishes there was more feedback about which way you're about to be pulled & the actual flight direction; the magnets' forces are pleasantly strong, and can suddenly push you sideways.

Would love to see how far you could run with this idea!

Developer

I'm planning on polishing it up a bit and releasing a post jam version. Thanks for playing!

nice idea and game play

Great game! Loved the presentation and the visuals. It realy gets out of control when you don't pay attention to where the magnets are. :D Good job!

Awesome idea. I have definitely felt out of control, especially in later stages ;).

For this type of game controls are very comfortable. Only thing I would like is more clear indicator of which magnet is influencing me.

Great entry. Cheers!

The music was tottaly out of contol, i like the game simple and easy to understand good job man

Developer(+1)

Thanks, you might have encountered the bug where if you die on the first level, the music duplicates itself. I wish I could have patched that before uploading lol

yea i think so

A simple mechanic but so much fun ! If I can suggest two things: the blue magnets are hard to see when aligned with the planet, and some textures on obstacles would help to appreciate the distance. But that's a nice and fun game, well done !

Thanks for playing!

Fun concept! Simple to pick up and liked having multiple levels with different challenges! Would like to have had the option to invert controls for this kind of flying game, but I know a lot of folks prefer the opposite. Also liked the music, thought it fit the theme really well!

Neat idea!

wow this turned out way better than what I imagined when you first told me the concept. its fun to control, the levels are varied, for the most part the difficulty is well tuned. I would work on the camera and the hitbox on the planet a bit but thats just minor tuning things. great game!

Alright, so I like the concept of this game. It's actually really fun to try to fly towards the planet and blow it up, while you're being distracted by magnets, but I feel there are some things that could be improved: first off, I think the camera could be a bit more zoomed out, as it currently feels like I'm all squashed up against the rocket and can't really analyze my surroundings well, secondly I felt that it was kind of hard to gauge how much each magnet was affecting me, it just kinda felt like a trial-and-error thing: maybe an indicator of where you're being pulled from would be interesting? You could make it bigger if you're being pulled by a stronger force, etc. Also, I personally thought the audio was just way too intense. It began fine, and I liked it, but at some point the high hats came in and it kinda began being really chaotic imo. Anyway, I did really like the effects and visuals! The fuze meter was really clear and worked well. Good job on entering the jam, hopefully you at least some of this feedback useful!

Developer

yeah about the audio, you may have encountered a bug where the music duplicates itself. The music was added SUPER last second and I didn't have time to tune it a bit. You can hardly even hear the really cool magnet sounds lol. But anyways, glad you liked it!

Ohhh that totally makes sense. Everything was really off-beat and loud. Lol!

I liked your game and thought your concept was really intresting. But just a note for next time,I find that having more forgiving hit boxes for something like the earth and rocket useally improves enjoyment.Overall though it was enjoyable.

I very honestly love the graphics, I wish my trash laptop could run the game better :(

Thanks, it's a little un-optomized due to the jam stress but I'm glad you liked it! I'll be sure to play yours as well
