How does your game fit the theme?
You solve puzzles by modifying the board using modifiers. In this real-time puzzle game you never have enough modifiers to finish the leven at once, so you have to pass them around as the puzzle unfolds. Play fast, play smart, or you'll literally 'run out of controls' during the puzzle!

Hey, this is a neat puzzle concept. I like the mix of fully planning in advance but having to execute in real-time. Quirks of the tile system (and That Bug) do make the timings tighter than they should be, especially on the last level, but it's a jam game and that's a question of polish. Excited to see where you take this, and glad to hear this is getting a post-jam update! I'd definitely play it again.
(Also, the pathfinding bug has been talked to death but honestly I think you could replicate the behavior and turn it into a predictable puzzle mechanic? Before I realized it was a bug I thought you might've been about to introduce some sort of "fix broken-down car" idea.)
Wow Chloe, thanks so much for this thoughtful and elaborate comment! First off, I'm super glad you at least enjoyed what's there somewhat, secondly it's super good to hear that you look forward to a post jam release! The fixed version (with many other improvements) is ready now, and will be pushed as soon as I have the time, I'm super excited for people to try it! More levels will follow in a next update. I like your suggestion of incorporating the 'breaking down' of the car as a mechanic, I was thinking of adding a tile in which a car waits 1 turn before moving on, which would open a lot of new puzzle design opportunities! Thanks so much for playing and giving feedback, unfortunately I can't rate your game before the deadline because I'm not home atm, but I'll try to check everyone's game out after the jam ended.
It's unfortunate that the car bugged and destroyed the gameplay completely. It's still a nice idea.
Yeah it's sad! But the fix is ready! Thx for playing!
I didn't have issues with dragging the modifiers, but my god the pathfinding bug is annoying. I don't understand why such a fundamental part of the game didn't get tested. The rest of the game is pretty nice though. Maybe add some UI to let the player know what level they are on.
Hey there, thanks for playing and giving feedback. It did get tested and it worked, but my guess it that it went wrong when exporting to a windows build (I have to admit we didn't have time to test an actual build), and that it has something to do with the order in which scripts were being fired. I've since rewrote the whole system though, so no more bugs in the next version ^^ Great suggestion with the level-numbering/naming, will put it on the 2do list. Thanks for playing!
So cute! You really should polished it a little bit more and made a full release!
Yeaaahhh that's what we were going for, glad you like it! I've been working on a polished and updated version that'll be released this afternoon (european time), after the rating period is finished. You can give me a follow if you wanna play it then! Thanks a bunch for playing :)
Amazing game, I am addicted to it
Haha, love this, thanks!
A lovely little puzzle game. It can be a little awkward to swap tiles while the cars are moving (sometimes they dissappear for seemingly no reason), but the game design is great and the presentation is wonderful
Ah thanks for your kind words! Glad you enjoyed it. These bugs have been fixed now, I'm just waiting to upload a new version after the rating ends :) Thanks for playing!
Really slick presentation and I really liked the idea of being able to switch the modifiers while the cars were going. I feel like there's a lot of places you could go with this base idea.
Thanks a lot for playing and for the kind words!
Great game that looks fantastic. The only minor things that bugged me were the way the cars snap-changed direction which broke the flow of gameplay and the fact that I always felt"in control".
Thanks for playing and your feedback! I actually started out with a smooth turn but it had taken too long to implement in the jam.. The out of control interpretation was meant to be realised in the later levels, as the first few ones are tutorial levels, but because of the bugs a lot of people couldn't get to those later ones.
Awesome game! Really lovely art style and really nice fit to the theme!
Thanks so much for playing it! I appreciate it, and thanks for the kind words :) super glad you liked it.
I really liked this. If you work out the bug fixes for this, it'd be really special IMO. Definitely should be developed into a full game.
Ahh thanks for the kind words <3 The fix is already done, and with some other quality of life improvements I'll update the game sunday, right after the jam, so everyone can play it! You can follow me if you're interested! Thanks for the lovely feedback :)
Really nice art and interface! On some levels the car would get stuck on a turning block. I think this could be a cool mobile game.
Thanks you for playing and your compliments! Yeah, that bug sucks :/ But it'll be fixed in the new version.
Game plays really well. I like the art style too, reminds me of my childhood 馃槤.
I noticed a bug where car stops near turning. Other than that it is a solid game.
Haha glad you enjoyed it! Sad the bugs stopped you from playing.. new version will be up this Sunday! If you want to play it you can follow me on itch :)
love the interface and the idea !!
thanks for playing!!!
Great presentation and fun idea, a lot of possibilities for puzzles and could be a great mobile game I think.
But as some people are saying there鈥檚 a bug where the car gets stuck and unfortunately that happened a lot to me :/
Thanks so much, I'd lve to expand this with way more levels and new kinds of special tiles! Sorry about the bugs.. You can follow me if you want to play the fixed version (with even more levels!), as it will go up sunday, right after the jam voting period ends. Thanks for playing :)
Following :)
Awesome :D
Really cool idea, the game looks amazing. Unfortunately I couldn't get past the second level because of a bug. Other than that, good job :)
Ahh sorry man! Newly fixed version (+ new levels!) will be out this sunday. You can follow me on itch if you're interested ^^ Thanks so much for playing & giving feedback!
I like the idea too (I actually made something similar to this in Flash well over a decade ago) but bugs plagued their ugly head and stopped it working for me. The cars would get to a corner, then turn the way the were supposed to but not continue driving.
Oh that's cool that you made something similar, and thanks for playing the game! Sorry you experienced that bug.. I've got it fixed now, but have to wait until the end of the week to update the game :|
I really like the idea, but I was having rotten luck trying to get through the first few levels without bugs constantly stopping things. I like the simple aesthetic and looks very interesting.
Yeah it seems that it targets most machines, but not all of them, so some people get away with the bugs. Sorry! But I'm glad you atleast liked what's there, thanks for playing!!
I liked the look a lot and the concept was really fun. Honestly it was very well executed with a surprising number of levels. Little glitches are bound to happen. For a short time period I thought this was really well done.

Hahah, Im glad you could at least enjoy up to a certain point ;) thanks for the feedback and kind words! We'll keep working on it for sure.
