This is a gorgeous game! I did encounter the mentioned bug quite a few times, but the puzzles were well laid out and intuitive. Maybe you can add more mechanics later on as well.

How does your game fit the theme?
You solve puzzles by modifying the board using modifiers. In this real-time puzzle game you never have enough modifiers to finish the leven at once, so you have to pass them around as the puzzle unfolds. Play fast, play smart, or you'll literally 'run out of controls' during the puzzle!

my modifiers kept disappearing whilst dragging them but i liked the overall presentation and idea behind the game :)
Hi everyone, I'm sorry to say that in the process of exporting the game, a very game-breaking bug has appeared: cars sometimes won't drive after having taken a turn, or will ignore the turned direction altogether and crash. I'm sorry if you experience this, it will be fixed in a later version of the game!
Great game, very appealing visuals, but sometimes the car would just stop and I had to restart the level. Overall, very nice game!
This game was great. I really dug the style and I could definitely see myself playing this on my phone.
This is a really solid puzzle game with a nice atmosphere and good puzzle design. My only complaint is that sometimes the little white pieces would glitch out and it would become impossible to progress. But other than some random bug fixing it was really nice!
The game seemed promising, but I didn't get very far because the car would just stop driving. https://imgur.com/a/28yRpaB
I really like the game and your execution of the theme is spot on, I think a toggle that allows the game to play a a faster rate would be nice depending on the circumstance!
I really like the idea, and the puzzles are interesting, but there are some really game-breaking bugs. Having to drag the modifiers slowly isn't too bad, but cars randomly stopping on turn tiles makes the game nearly unplayable. I had to redo each level multiple times because one of the cars would eventually just stop moving. At one point one of them even crashed into seemingly nothing. I eventually gave up after trying the same level over 10 times and getting stuck because of bugs. I really want to rate this game higher since I feel like it has a lot of potential, but for now I'm giving it a 2/5.
I think you're spot-on (unfortunately, haha!) We were kind of sad to have to release this game in it's current state, but a deadline is a dealine. Thanks a lot for the feedback, it's heartwarming to see that a lot of people like the concept, and it sucks that the game is just very broken at this point in time. We'll definitely fix it up after the jam tho, and hopefully it'll actually reach the potential you say it has. Thanks so much for your feedback, it's highly appreciated.
I like the idea; it really appeals to my inner programmer and puzzle solver, and the first few levels do a good job explaining how the mechanics work. The simple art style also adds quite a bit of charm.
Once the game gets to real-time modifier switching though, there seems to be a nasty bug where the modifier icon will disappear if I move the mouse too fast, causing it to glitch out and forcing me to reset the level. Later levels get pretty time-critical about this too, and there doesn't appear to be a way to pause the level without completely resetting, so I just gave up after a while. If it weren't for that (imo game-breaking) bug, I would have really clicked with this one!
You're completely right! First off, thanks a bunch for giving it a thorough try, and I'm glad you could at least enjoy some of it ^^ I guess we could have rolled with having you pre-plan levels and than hitting play, as it would have worked better with the current state of the game, but then we wouldn't be playing into the theme of the jam, so we opted to go with the original vision for the game. Unfortunately, like you said, it's become kind of unplayable unless you know what to do to avoid the glitchiness.. BUT, we're very glad to see that people like the concept, so we'll definitely try to fix everything and push out an updated version after the jam. We'll also actually make some more good levels that play into the whole concept a bit more, and elaborate a bit more, like having 3 or more cars! Thanks for playing and hopefully you'll also check it out after the jam has ended ^^
Feels like a mobile game, which isn't a bad thing. I like puzzle games a lot, the quick reactions that are needed really made me think hard.
This is a really solid base for a game. The mechanics are simple, but the puzzles did a good job of balancing long-term planning and quick reactions. This could probably do well as a mobile game if you could port it to mobile! The only issue I ran into was the GUI flashing off and on, which made it difficult to move the modifiers around when the cars were driving. Nicely done, and congrats on submitting a complete project to the jam!
Hey there, and thanks for playing + giving feedback. Your feedback is spot-on. We're kinda sad that we had to release it in such a buggy state, but I guess that's all one big learning experience ;-) Hopefully we can get it all polished up and fixed so it can be released (maybe on mobile like you said!) in the future. Thanks for the feedback!
Car some times just stops on some turns and wont go until restarting level
Hey! Love the cutesy cars art and was super excited to play, but I think I'm encountering a bug on the second level where the card won't move past this turn :(
