Creat game
I always smirk when I see a 3D game in a jam,
Because they are either well done or just very basic with sloppy controls

Switching between runnning and shooting was an interresting take in a 3D enviroment,
I could play from start to finish wihout any problems, so great job

Animations were a bit odd and wall hitboxes seem a bit to big,
And camera was a bit wobbly when moving/jumping, was a bit hard to aim midair.
but I usually expect something like that for a 48 hour game.

I just missed some music and sound effects,
You'd be suprised by how much they add to the game.
And if you can't create something, or dont have the time,
Pick something from an asset store.
There are a ton of free packs and they can greatly improve the feel of the game.

pretty fun but not that much different from a normal shooting game

I feel like the aiming was a bit awkward, especailly when the enemies were above me and could shoot me immediately. For example, I tried to jump on a higher platform, but got shot instantly and couldn't really shoot back because of that.

Also I fell off the map and I didn't die, but the game just kept going.

Nice concept. Had some fun with this. I found the trick is to swap controls very often.

I must admit that the mouse controls were very nauseating due to the heavy smoothing. I'm not sure if this is intentional or not. But I would suggest to keeping with standards without the smoothing since that is what most people are used to.

Also, you could try indicating top/bottom control on the player character itself. Then the player doesn't have to pay attention to the corner of the screen.

The concept has merit... There are ways to improve upon this (and I did a pour job describing some of these in the video), I would take a page out of "Super Hot"'s book where if you stop moving time stops.  I also think that if you switched controls while walking, he can keep walking and all you have to do is aim.  Also, I think having your character  die in one hit would make things interesting as well.  Also, the fist thing that you should do is add some music to your game... It's kinda boring to play with out it (in fact, I put some random tracks in my video, and the game immediately look like fun to play). Another thing you should do is put some faces on your character models, make them have a bit of life, feel free to use my title card as reference!!

Thank you for playing my game, I am realy happy you made that video about the game, you gave me exactly what I was looking for and it's seeing how other players play my game. Because the way i was playing it was a bit defferent and made the levels look more easy.I will start working soon on an improuved version with audio implemented and game mecanics update. I realy apreciate the ideas you gave me and I will be glade to work on them.

thank you again <3

This is an interesting game. I like the mechanic of switching between walking and shooting. It reminds me of Resident Evil's tank controls in that way. I would have liked a border wall to keep me from falling into oblivion, but I understand that likely comes from the 48 hour time constraint. This was fun learning how to quickly switch between walking around a corner and firing at an enemy so as to stay alive. It's kind of like a puzzler, I guess. Overall good game!

I really liked this concept! Switching between movement and shooting is a really cool idea and I think sets itself up well for cool level design. That being said I feel as though switching between the two was a bit clunky which made the game harder to play. I def was not a fan of how getting shot would return you to movement mode. I think if you made the gameplay more fluid, made player bullets go through enemy bullets and gave them a limited supply, and added sound this would be great. Good submission, enjoyed playing it!

This game makes me go YES!

This was very interesting, and fun to mess around with. The text says that you swap controls by holding Ctrl, but it swaped by tapping Ctrl. That took some time to get used to. The bullet collision with walls felt wonky, and it was hard to predict if shots would actually make it to the target. Also, I managed to fall off the map. Otherwise, I thought it was really cool. I think with a bit more time to iron out the technical issues this could be a really great game.

thank you for your feedback, I am glade you had fun playing,I am working forward to improuve it

I really think you should develop this further outside of the jam. You've got a cool idea going here, and I think one of the things holding it back is the out of control theme. Using left CTRL  works for the them of the jam but I think you could easily improve your game by moving the switch half button to RMB. If you did that I think that switching between the two halves would feel more natural. Also, having damage switch which half you are controlling make the game more "out of control", it also makes it less fun. I got used to hitting CTRL after taking damage, but that seems like a needless step for the player to take. Aside from things like the lake of music or SFX, those were the things I thought could use the most improving.  I really do think you could take this game further and make it something really enjoyable. I think that the best moment I had playing was when I realized I could jump, switch halves, and shoot enemies from the air before they could aim at me. Expanding on things like that could be incredibly fun.

I hope to see you in future jams, Marouan!

Really cool idea, but few flaws like no sounds and enemies not reseting. Besides that awesome and could go places!

Very original game mechanic. Lack of music and sound effects, and when you die it doesn't reset the enemies.

thank you for your feedback, I apreciate it

Very original, so that's why I will give 5/5 on that.

Really good, and one of a kind. Liked it! :-)

I really like this! Very solid concept. I liked how easy it was to know the controls and the challenge increased slowly through the levels.

Developer

thank you very much for playing

Really good entry! It was award at first (which is mainly the consequence of the theme) but it made me have to come up with an interesting strategy to compensate. Mine was jump then quickly switch and SPRAY bullets everywhere. really really cool. could use music tho

Developer

thanx for your comment, thats exactly how I play it lol
