How does your game fit the theme?
Inspired by dual purpose game mechanics, we thought to allow the player to gain control of environmental objects by trading control of their main weapon. This flips the power dynamic between out of control and in control with each throw of the sword.

Did your team create the art for this game during the 48 hour time slot?

Yes

We created all art during the game jam

Did your team create the audio for this game during the 48 hour time slot?

No

We used pre-existing audio

Nice platformer with a pretty cool concept. Controls feel kinda off from time to time, but still had a lot of fun with it.

Might need more "coyote time" on the jumping, but other than that it was pretty good.

Nice game. I would have bought this game on Steam.

Hey thanks, we're glad you enjoyed it :)

I loved the look and everything, but in level 3 flying fox, when you fall down and need to time it perfectly.... that is just too hard... I tried about 20 times and didn't manage and gave up...

Very nice game! I managed to softlock once, but oh well. The adaptive music is very nice, and coupled with the excellent pixel art, this makes for a very nice game.

Pretty cool, but in level 3 it's too difficult to put the sword into the circuitry while you're falling down.

Great game! Had a little trouble with platforming but fun puzzley sword mechanic.

Great pixelart, the lizzard is pretty cute. The mechanic is pretty interesting and has a lots of potentional. Checkpoints would help with some of the longer levels.

Good job!

oh, by the way, the presentation is AMAZING!

GREAT game, but i suggest using "coyote time" which is where you give the player a little time before the player falls off an object. But love the art and animation!

Fun game and great looking art. The movement controls are a little off sometimes but still enjoyed it a lot.

Fun game, great presentation! I feel like the level design could use some work, the main mechanic was interesting but I feel like a lot of its potential went unexplored due to most of the levels only requiring you to interact with the elements in a linear fashion. Really good job, tho!

Nice puzzle platformer with gorgeous pixel art and fun gameplay. The presentation is top notch with how the sword/switches stand out from the environment.

Platforming is a bit finicky during the spike areas.

I will say that the control loss aspect is not that pronounced since you barely need the sword for combat.

Great job!

I'll start by saying this is a very solid  puzzle platformer, and while some checkpoints might help with game flow, its very nice for what it is.

it's a bit stock standard design wise, but what it does pull off, it does well.

I really liked this game and the color choices you made were very smart by making the sword/sword related stuff stand out from everything. I kinda wished that the hitbox of the sword during the falling shots was a big more forgiving because I felt like the challenge should have been the puzzles and how the mechanic works and not me trying to perfect my embarrassing timing.

Really like this one, the tileset and the character sprite are fantastic. Great stuff. Could definitely see this being spun into something bigger. Some of the controls are a little stiff, and there is some collision issues with corners, but huge potentiol.

NICE GAME :)

Really cool! I'm pretty terrible at it and didn't get very far, but I really dig the aesthetics, and you can do a lot with this concept! The jump might be a little buggy, especially in tight spaces, so that could be a post-jam fix. :-)

Loved the graphics and concept! One small thing, when jumping against vertical surfaces, the character seems to grip and not fall. Great game overall though!
