This is a really cool concept. Having to work out the moves in advance is a really fun and interesting mechanic

How does your game fit the theme?
The game takes control of the player every few seconds, so you must anticipate what will happen to avoid danger! Take advantage of when the game takes control in order to paint as many tiles as you can!

such a cool idea!! i really love the concept :D its so rare to see fast paced-puzzles that arent just stressing to play so well done!! i absoluetly love it
I loved the creativity, I liked that instead of simply dropping something completely unpredictable into the player's hand, we can see in advance the next steps and the time left! I don't have much to talk about in general, I just think that maybe, with this labyrinth system, doors could advance to the next levels, along with the red walls, maybe it would be more challenging! Great job!
Just a tip, when compressing, avoid compressing just the files, compress the folder as a whole, for organization reasons, some people may end up clicking on the famous Extract Here!
This is a very creative game. It makes you think quick on your feet as you scramble to find a good spot to sit. the game feel is nice but with a few sound effects and it would be even better.
That’s a good thought about the balancing, right now the game just generates a random sequence that’s guaranteed to be possible within a certain number of moves from the player’s current position, but I didn’t really put any thought into making sure the sequences are complex enough. We’ll discuss it and maybe consider changing it in the game’s full release… (stay tuned for that!)
I played the game and it was so fun, and so creative version of a maze! This is from the best games that I played in this game jam, and this month! Amazing work!
What did I like?
- The game mechanics.
- Player movements are so smooth!
- Camera shake.
- Player animation, and flipping.
- The level design.
- The art of the game.
- The UI. (Minimlastic and so clean)
Suggestions:
- Add a background music.
- Add and play a SFX when the player hits the wall.
- Maybe also add, play a SFX when the player died.
I promise that I learned a lot of things from this game!
Amazing work guys! Keep making games, and never give up!
Wow thank you for the feedback!! Grady and I used to make small games together back in highschool but we have been rather preoccupied for the last few years with college. Because of current world situations, we suddenly had a bit more time on our hands so I suggested we do this game jam, and man was it a good idea!
I feel like making this game reestablished our passion towards making games, and I feel like we might continue work on our older games, so stay tuned for those if you liked the feel of this game :)
I clicked on play button, then it shows this!
Is this a bug? (Windows version) If no, how to fix it?
Beautifully designed and executed. Brilliant concept and unique use of the theme. The pressure builds and eases nicely allowing a good sense of stress and relief as you are playing. Adding multiplayer and the ability to paint over each others colours could make this game an absolutely deadly party game :)
Love the idea for this game. Found it super fun trying to plan future moves even though i'm being told the information. The simplistic art is also really nice, just makes the game feel so simple yet fun. SFX definitely would have improved the feedback while moving around / being hit, but its simple enough that not much is taken away from the core experience. Great game!
Very fun game. It would have really been improved with some sounds.
wow this was a very unique and interesting game.
I wasn't able to beat this. It would be nice if maybe there were levels that started smaller. Or maybe like in minesweeper where you choose the size of the board.
But very good, it was a lot of fun
After the jam is over we definitely intend to add that feature. In fact, that was the idea from the start, but we wanted to get other features out of the way first. As you can see, we submitted with a little over 5 minutes left before the deadline, and I still haven't slept in 36 hours XD.
Thanks for the feedback :)
Great game, trying to make quick decisions about where to place myself whilst mapping the path I'l be made to move is a lot of fun
