I had a lot of fun with this. I love how good the combos feel. I love the sound effects and screenshake as well. It all comes together for a really polished package

this is super fun!  really nice animations and juicy movement for the player.  i loooove the music and the sound effects as well!  took me a little bit to get a hang of the controls, but it's really cool how you've done this with just a single button input.  i'd love to see a few more move possibilities added in if you continue developing this!  good thing you still have another button and 4 directions to work with.

thank you! yeah, there's definitely a tension moving forward of how simple to keep the input. we're sort of excited about trying to keep building it up without adding any more buttons, but who knows. maybe the draw toward THPS-style trick input will be too great :)

Wow, this was great!  Definitely one of the most fun I've played.  There was just enough to jump off and kill you (tho sometimes -100 for the bird made me sad, haha).  Once I realized you could trick off the cones, my scores got WAY better ... imagine my surprise after 20 tries when I finally got that 5th combo!  I can't even remember what the character said now, but it was TOTALLY cool that the game recognized it, because I was stoked at that point too.  Really great job!  Oh, have to mention the music was spot on and the flipping board animations, both on the player sprites and the menus / scores were killer.  Excellent entry!

This looks and feels great! Combos are smooth and satisfying. At one point, my score was continuously going down while riding on flat ground, which was confusing, but otherwise everything worked perfectly.

Good sense of motion and movement! I got an insane number of negative scores, but it was a fun game. I sometimes had trouble identifying obstacles and pits. Maybe a slightly different palette would help identify holes a bit. Still, it was very fun and I enjoyed it a lot!

Hey, thanks for playing, Thejaspel! Yeah, the scoring balance is pretty wonky until you start making combos. And totally, those pits especially can be a bit hard to spot as they zip toward you. Thanks for the feedback!

this honestly might be my favourite one ive played so far !! love the look, love the feel, love the sounds !! so juicy and wonderful ! would love to see a post-jam update with some more content, but honestly the vibes are off the charts here <33

I'm so happy to hear you'll continue to expand this. 

I thought immediately of Canabalt- but you can do even MORE with just one button. It's so fluid and fun, and as you can see with how much I played it, it has a lot of depth! 

I hope it catches on like Canabalt once people see how simple, but deep the game is.

Man, those point penalties are MEAN. Damn birds...

Really cool game though, easy to learn, hard to master. Great presentation, this feels like it could really exist as a Gameboy game. Congrats!!

It's GREAT! I loved it. Terrible the first couple times, so satisfying once you get the hang of it. Nice music, nice animations (I keep looking at the game over skate spinning xD).
I was going to add that I hope the birds are ok, but... nah, little feathery bastards, they take too many points xD
