Very original! And so cute that you used your kid's lego designs to make this :-)

Wow your son did an awesome job building all these sets!!! This is so cute, a really unique style and entry ^^ The stop motion parts were so fun!
I did kind of wish the Help option was a toggle, but otherwise it was a smooth experience. Wonderful work!

Developer

I almost made it a toggle, but thought it should reset on each move so as not to make it too helpful. Remember you can find hotspots with the cursor changes too.

He had no idea (nor did I!) while we were playing with lego for the last few weeks that it would end up in a game. But he was really excited to play it and find his toys in there.... :)

Okay I did not expect to play a stop motion game, this is awesome!

I'm genuinely impressed with you creativity. Did not expect to see a stop motion Lego game here. Well done!

I'm sorry, you made a STOP MOTION LEGO GAME?? That's gonna be an instant 5 stars on theme from me haha. Very creative, well done!

Really interesting game - love the look and feel of it, would be great to see more point and click games made from circumstantial lego builds !

Developer(+1)

Did you just invent a new genre?

"Circumstantial Lego"

:D

Like the stop motion nice use of Legos.

Nice use of Lego. great job 👍

That was a fun game. Well done putting this together quickly. I enjoyed the point-and-click style of the game. I had stuff left to do like deal with the pigs. Not sure if I missed something. Oh well, I solved the mystery of the Red Mountain. Good job and keep it up!

Developer

Thanks for playing to the end!

Not everything in the game is there to be solved. Some of it is just window dressing for atmosphere...

I love the stop motion

I really like lego, never seen this done before!

Loved the way the animated scenes looks and very creative using your sons legos. Very Creative!

It is like watching a lego movie, very interesting take on creating scenes i like it.

Developer

Thanks.

Would you believe I've never seen a lego movie! Time to check one out I guess...

Such a creative and charming game! The mix of point-and-click mechanics with real LEGO pieces and photos is super unique, I really enjoyed exploring the scene and solving the mystery. Loved the detail like the changing cursor and how items interact between inventory and the world. Awesome work!

Developer

Thanks! Lego was easier than blender :D

Hey there! This one caught my eye while scrolling through the submissions. This is a cool concept and I enjoyed the story and mechanics, it's cool to see the elements go from your inventory to the world and vice versa. Although I solved the mystery it appears that there were things that I missed in my first play through as I had other items left, I'll need to explore deeper . Loved that the cursor icon changes depending on the available options. Great submission, thank you for sharing!

Developer

Thanks!

Yes there are some extra bits you don't need to complete in order to finish the game. I was stoked when my son worked out what to do with the head :)

The game is very original,  a point-and-click mixed with real-life LEGO is a surprisingly good combination! Sometimes it’s a bit hard to tell where I can click, so I got a little lost 😅, but overall it's a great submission!

Developer

I saw that same problem in "user testing" (a.k.a. my wife played it) So the help button was added - click on it in a scene and the hotspots become more visible...

Thanks for the kind words!

Great idea! Very inspiring use of photos, stop motion, and point and click mechanics. Good excuse to play with Lego too! Would be interested to know how you set up point and click games like this. I would probably put transparent buttons over clickable areas, but I'm sure there are better ways.

Developer(+1)

Thanks :)

I need no excuses (well I have a 3 year old is my excuse...)

For this - yep, transparent buttons all the way! And a chunk of new custom Unity editor code to set thigns up ;)

I'll have to give it a go! Cheers!
