All around a great game. Nice art, fitting music and sound, and controls really well. I like the idea of dying to switch to other abilities. I did feel that there weren't any stakes to dying and switching constantly though. Maybe a challenge mode or a bonus/reward if you beat the level with minimal deaths would give the player something extra to think about as they solve the puzzles. Regardless, that was fun to play though!

Fun little game, I enjoyed the level layout and the abilities. I wish that there were more uses for the abilities, ie dashing could destroy a wall but couldn't hurt a slime and didn't actually move faster. But then again it would nullify the usefulness of fireball. I guess there could have been targets for the fireball to hit but also there were times where we had to cycle through the abilities and that just felt a bit too repetitive. Oh and adding a volume slider would also be nice.
The levels were amazing and the art and music was grand. Keep up the good work!
Really nice job! And totally matches the concept! Would loved to have a way of respawning directly to a specific special ability instead of looping around the 3. But apart from that really fun game! Almost too good for a game jam! Congratulations team!
Fun platformer game aligned with the jam theme.
I liked the pixel art and the music. They all seemed to fit well with the game.
Some improvement suggestions:
- I got stuck in the first room where I was supposed to break the wall to progress. I managed to place a bunch of objects between me and the wall and therefore couldn't break it with dash. It would be nice to have a 'restart level' button.
- I thought the cannons and cannonballs would play a greater part in the game, since I could push them around. At first I thought I had to place the cannonball in the cannon to shoot the wall down. XD

The visuals look amazing and the lighting was pretty nice. The mechanic of swapping abilities through deaths was quite unique and I pretty much enjoyed the game a lot :D
Good game, wish there were more ways the player could use their abilities to approach the problem instead of each ability just being used for a single problem(like fireball to kill enemies, double jump to higher and dash to break walls). And the bloom effects is a bit too intense for my liking. Hope my feed backs didn't came too harsh as it is not my intention. But overall, fun and cute game with good gameplay.

I had fun! the gameplay is rather simple but fun enough.
I found respawning just felt lika a slow ability swap, but was still interesting enough!
I think it took me a while to figure it out tho. Maybe I missed some instruction in the first room?
But really really good work!
The art is really beautiful and the sounds are lovely. It's so bright and inviting, but I just couldn't figure out the controls to continue. First I tried shooting for a while before realizing that I have to respawn and have the fireball ability. Then I managed to take down one slime, but I couldn't figure out how to put the bomb into the canon or light it or whatever it was I needed to do to break the wall down to the second slime. I tried shooting fireballs at the wall, shooting fireballs at the bomb, dashing through the wall, pushing the canon and bomb together hoping they combine xD but I couldn't get anything to happen. Let me know if I missed something so I can come back and try again.
I really love the king sprite and the little slimes, they were so cute :D I thought the new ability mechanics were cool, plus the fact it didn't respawn you back to the very start was a bonus!
