Thank you! I failed to mention where the frames were dropped. Oddly, it was only noticeable during my live stream (shameless plug) but it was the only game to cause frame drops only visible on stream. I have had it happen before but for a game like this, it shouldnt have happened but I did want to share it as it is a struggle in almost all games. Good luck friend!

I think I played around 40 min of this, just going far and long and I absolutely love this. I love the gameplay, the music was the bomb digity, the power growth felt amazing. I absolutely loved the power cards, I had a lot of fun just upgrading my attack power, speed, movement, as well as the abilities. My only critique is more clear on the controls, for the first few minutes, i thought I needed more buttons to summon lightning and do explosions and fire projectiles and then i realized that it was just automatic. There were quite a few games in this jam like this and this is really well done as the controls and mechanics feel much better and well balanced in comparison to others I have played.
Honestly, the only reason why I stopped playing was that either I accidently hit the respawn button, the game crashed or something else. The game refreshed and reset my stats. This game is grand, loved it and I cannot wait to see what else you do!
I am so glad you enjoyed it enough to feast on feces!
Thank you so much for the playing and the message. Oddly enough I never really thought of the Portal side of things even with my voice so that is a little coincidence there. I did want some simple puzzles but the final one was meant to be harder but I really should have made it more clear that was the end of the game vs just leaving it open ended as you are unfortunately not the first person to say anything about that. This will certainly be resolved in the post jam phase.
Thanks for the input!
I am so glad that you enjoyed it! I wanted to take a very different approach to this game and I feel like I passed on that! Yeah the grow and ungrow times are fine in the beginning but in the end, it is a bit obnoxious and that is something I will remember in future releases of this game. My main focus was mechanics and playability, I didnt really work on the puzzles until about 12 hours before it was due lol.
And I should have put a few messages around the final room but no, it is just to reward the player for outsmarting the scientists and I should have made that more clear so I do apologies for that inconvenience!
I am glad you liked the game and I so appreciate the bug report!
So I did notice a lot of issues with the Rigidbodies and Colliders in this game and after countless attempts to resolve those issues of flying or launching the player, I just couldnt figure it out. And I couldnt think of a way to phrase this issue for StackExchange or other websites so I really was kinda sunk. I do want to experiment with this movement and controls in the future to prevent the wonkyness but I at least have a great time with it lol!
Also I originally was going to use more of the push boxes and then I noticed that that could cause much worse issues with players being launched just from one so I decided to risk it with only one crate and thankfully, it didnt cause much issue but there is definitely some more to learn in the future!
I was not expecting this and when I saw multiple endings, I then decided to spend the next hour or so trying to get them all. This is very interesting and should have many more ratings! My only critique is maybe a hint towards the hidden endings but even then some people like not having that so good job!
I love this game, very nice, very wholesome, I loved the powerups and those decisions affected the final boss, however I did want to say that the final boss felt to hard, it might be bc i am not good at Bullet Hell games so maybe tone down the difficulty to make your buff abilities feel a bit stronger and less of a downgrade. Also maybe have an endless mode with the first leading to the 2nd levels, so you can go longer to build stronger and then fight your inner demons as they are also stronger bc people love that increase in power! GG
I like this, very wholesome and even though there were issues, you kept moving forward which is important in this area. I cannot wait to see what happens next and see what you procure in the future! Good luck and Good Job! Also you submitted this 6 seconds before the deadline, you absolute madlad lmao GG
Relaxing and nostalgic game. I absolutely loved it and there was no better feeling then getting a Sus Duck on on your first attempt on the 3rd level. I absolutely loved the voice acting. The only thing that kinda affected my gameplay was the wierd drop in frames as well as the imersion breaking crane game in the sky. And a bit of janky physics but i know that comes from the new territory. If this was my progress after 2 months of game dev, I would be very content, Good job!
Simple game, I would have loved to see the ability to recover from those hits. So like your position laterally is your health if that makes sense. I also didnt know the full length of controls so I didnt know you could smash down so maybe having on the start screen some text describing the controls. But I enjoyed it, it was fun! Good job for your second game!\!
I had a blast with this. I am a sucker for racing games and even though this isnt a racer, i got those vibes. I love the drifting, I love the driving, I love the aesthetics. I think it is very satisfying and my only complaint is that I cant click to start driving sooner lol. Good job and I cannot wait to see what else you make!
Wow I love this game, its simplicity is just so fun. Good job. I wish there was a stronger indicator for the lives system. It took a few deaths to notice that that was not the level indicator. And also I didnt know how many levels there were so I felt like I was either looping the levels or just dying a lot. Either way, Good job as a "first game that wasn't a full rip of a tutorial" I really loved it and I love the light shader as it made those pit falls even more exciting and challenging. I cant wait to see what else you make!
Difficult little game. I love it as it shows the importance of planning out your game and it is clear you guys did that! So good job! I wish there were checkpoints at the dimension rooms as that would enable us to continue in the event of our early passing but I think it is cool! I did find the jitter movement hard to adjust to but I liked it and I cannot wait to see what else you guys make!
Thank you so much! Yeah I tried to make some elements such as the Eye and Mouth a bit more monstrous/nightmarish and have the human arms and legs just be oddly specific. I loved how it turned out and I am glad you enjoyed it! I didnt notice the eating sounds repeat so that is something I will check for in the next patch! Thanks for the play!
This is amazing, I love how I felt second hand embarassment like TinySquidStudios said. The voice lines were amazing, the sound effects from the game and the environment were really really good, the visuals were amazing and the half arsed responses are just gold. Well done! This game truly deserves more attention! I Cannot wait to see what else you guys make!
Holy cow this game is the bees knees! I had a lot of fun, besides laughing at the Crabtendo and the art and goofs around the room and the crab game, I absolutely loved it! I did find the music a bit annoying but I think it fit the theme of knockoff with the crabtendo. I think you and your team did an excellent job! I cannot wait to see more of what you do! My only real critique is that in a few games, I didnt have the mom show up once before beating the crabtendo. IDK if that means just dumb luck but I did enjoy it!
This was awesome! I really loved the line shader, I will have to use that for my future projects! I loved the interpretation of the two dimensions being eyesight and echolocation. I did notice a few issues with the sound such as when you had the two gear things nearby it just repeated the sound on loop very annoying but overall was not too bad of an experience. Good job!
Hilarious game, I loved the death sound, had me LOL! The controls for single player was a struggle, I think some signs or text instructing on the controls would be helpful but other than that and the jank random deaths here and there from being skyrocketed out of the world, its pretty good! Good job! Oh and volumes were a touch loud
Really cool game, it was a lot of fun to experiment and also discover some wierd things such as reversing gravity with timing and stuff getting lots of high jumps and skipping stuff but I think it worked out well as in some places, i couldnt figure out how to get there without a little gitchyness. Either way, great design, cool art, I wish it was a little more zoomed in or perhaps a larger window but it looks awesome!
