The graphics, audio and atmosphere was just perfect! Love the deformation and general jankiness of everything.

The eye system worked really well and it was fun to balance leisurely exploration with escaping enemies. It took some time for me to grasp the combat and the fact that it's somewhat real time. Once I did this was very fun - I don't necessarily know how it'd scale beyond a jam game but it was great for this, and I'm sure you could keep adding twists to it.

A minimap would really help with the exploration

so good job. died early, but eventually found the sword and made it a bit farther.

its a "zany mushroom forager".

The controls and movement in this game are *chefs kiss*. And the trippy art style works beautifully. Great job!

Found myself playing this game for longer than expected. Not a trippy fan, but this worked very well. Very polished.

Trippy. And fun too.

I'm astonished by the level of quality of your game, and it was made in 7 days only, that's crazy!

Everything is well designed and super polished, it have nothing bad. You will be winner or top 3 for sure. Congratulations! :)

I was really taken aback by your visuals, in a good way. Didn't expect an entry of such quality.

Really cool, I couldn't get past the beginning, but I look forward to trying a version post-jam with hopefully an easier start! I love the feel of the game and the smoothness of the UI and moving around!

There's a full playthrough on the main page if you want to see how it ends!

Design looks profession. You kept it simple and worked well. Wasn't sure on the objective but was playing for a while.

Cool design. Would be nice to have a volume slider! Great tutorial, really nice UI. The distorting  level is cool.

The start of the game is a little unfair, and I reached a checkpoint with one heart and was basically stuffed, so I didn't play the rest. Still an impressive submission given the time constraints!

Very fun and unique. I liked the trippy atmosphere and designs.

This was really unique! What an awesome art style and really fun combat system, well done!

I had a super fun time with this one once I managed to get into combat: it really felt intuitive and reminded me of simple but intense combat from games like One Finger Death Punch.

Some of the enemies didn't read as enemies from first glance and pickups don't always visually read as "something I want" from a distance, but it is a very different and interesting aesthetic overall.

I saw that there was a control for standing on your tip-toes and tried it as soon as I loaded up the game, but quickly forgot it once I either hit panic mode running from enemies when I had no sword or murder mode when I found enemies after I had the sword.

The art style for this is really great and unique. It definitely has a spooky vibe. I am also really impressed with the tutorial prompts which gives it a very polished feel. I played a few times and each time I eventually got stuck between to enemies and could not figure out what action I could take. They didn't damage me so we just sat there. If that is an intended aspect of the game it would be great if that ended up in a fail state of some kind.

Yikes! I really underestimated how bad the enemies are in the first few rooms.

For now, all you can really do is hit spacebar a bunch (it's the "wait" command) which will prompt the enemies to kill you.

After those first hallways you get a sword which lets you fight the enemies (hopefully more fun, hahaha)

Thanks for the tips. I will try to take it for another spin before voting ends.

One of the best game I played!!! I love everything about it... No more word to say, 5 stars. With 7 days how you can make such a professional game like this one. I learned a lot from it, thank you!

Oh my gosh, that means so much, thanks!
