I liked the art style you went with, really cool. Also the idea of the game is really nice, I got a little problem with the camera and movement, but it was only 7 days to do it, so it's ok.

keep the good work!

Thanks for playing our game! In addition to what snoutfroth told you about the Oracle algorithm  it there is a statistical method for rock-paper-scissor game rock-paper-scissor article, but it requires quite a lot of input data ~200,000 examples as the article states. With that much data any decent machine learning/ deep learning  system could be used for a quick implementation of a predictive system. On the other hand people that played Oracles after 100 tries were able to go under 40% accuracy (algorithm accuracy). I guess it depends on the usage of it if it will work or not.

Sorry for sharing the boring stuff :D

Cheers!

Your style is great! I'm so glad You could do it in that period of time! Congrats!

That art work is amazing!!

Thanks. It's a great feeling knowing that someone likes what we (@novacorpstudio and @Starmangamedev mostly) did  :)

Nice art style !

Developer

Thank you! I have just played your game and it's really fun!

great visuals.

Developer

Thanks! :) There was a bug with post fx on my end, otherwise I would have loved to do a final color correction on it.

Hmm I couldn't really figure it out but the style was cool. I think it would be better to have a fixed camera though

Developer

You have to eat a certain number of sheep to win each level. Do so by getting close to make them follow you out of sight from the dogs and smash Z and X in a completely random pattern. If the pattern is not random enough, the sheep gets away from you.

Visual art looks terrific. More clarity on what is going on in the game would help. I found myself a little confused about what creature I was in combat with. The camera rotation could be improved a lot. Also the in-game controls didn't include how to fight, but I saw that you included that below on the page description. Audio could also be used to give more feedback about what is going on in the game.

Congrats on your entry!

Developer

Lots of improvements and fiixes I wish we had time for :P

The game was pretty confusing. But I do like the graphics and music! Camera movement made me a little dizzy. Good job on finishing this!

Developer

Thank you for playing and for the feedback. We really appreciate it!

Gorgeous art style! I'm a little lost on how to win the game though, but I love the idea

Developer (1 edit)

Thanks! Mad deadline rush forced us to publish it after setting up five levels. Get through those, and you can claim yourself a winner, winner - lamb-chop dinner!

I see, I will try that! ;)

I love the art style! Took me a while to get used to the combat but I think I get it now. I quite like it though there were some bugs, like sheep floating in the sky. Overall, good job, I enjoyed it :)

Liked the idea :D

nice looking game! i had a very similar idea but controlling the sheep against the wolf disguised as a sheep :D but my team mates didnt like the idea :) such a shame it seemed too fun to develop :)

Developer

..Or a sheep disguised as a wolf? Go full circle. haha

I really like the graphics of the game. But its a little buggy.

One advice I have for you is to not use the "z" or "y" key becouse on a german keyboard they are switched and that makes the game much harder to play :)

Developer

Thannks for the feedback! Good to know. We'll likely do a round of bugfixing and polish when the jam has ended and we can update the game. A few things were left on the cutting room floor so to speak.

Submitted(+1)

It was hard to know what to do at first before reading the text below on the game page. And I'm still not sure if I'm fighting well-

Love the idea of this roundy-floating animals xD

Developer

We wanted to put in a tutorial on the first level, but were crunching like mad in the minutes leading up to the deadline. In a future update we'll add that and tweak some stuff.

I hardly understood how to kill a sheep, or if I had to. Sometimes sheeps go inside terrain.

The idea seemed nice.

Submitted(+1)

Bouncing sheep ftw! I really liked this use of the theme, it fits the game perfectly.

Submitted(+1)

Nice game with a unique idea! I really liked the graphics and music too.

Great Game!.
