The game is the pretty short and it's not very clear if the looping room ending is the actual ending or if you can actually get out of the loop. Regardless the art and ambience were well done, but some more sfx would be nice; like walking and opening doors. There was also not a lot the player can do, besides walking around, but I guess that this was due to time constraints.

Developer

The game is indeed very short, but the looping room is not actually the ending, there are like 3-4 rooms after it with 6 different endings, it's a puzzle, i tried to not directly tell but show, being more clear would have killed the immersion imho

Not much to do in this game, but it is looking pretty good and the atmosphere is interesting.

Though not really a "game" this entry show impressively how far Unity has come as a game engine. With your three days of work setting up such atmospheric scenes with the light and fog is really impressive.

That's a pretty game. Graphics are good, even if I think the player's animation when walking could be better.

I would like some music and sounds to make me feel the ambience better, you could have something interesting by playing with some scary sounds and a dark and low music behind.

I'm sad the game feels empty atm, even with the dialogs because they are mostly useless.

Controls are good, character isn't too slow, this is a good point.

Looks like you're pretty experienced, I don't understand why you didn't make any audio or more content inside of the existing scenes.

Nice job.

Developer

Time, the reason is time, sadly i had work to do, so i had a couple hours to spare for like 3 days to complete this, as for audio, i'm totally useless in that field (my main field, and the one i work professionally into is graphics, i know just some basics of programming, but nothing very flashy) so i had to ask a friend of mine (Daniel Romeros, another guy who worked on the Shoppe Keep series) to make me on the fly an ambience and a death sound...

We can feel that you're talented in graphics, the game is like a showroom of what you can do and visually it's very pleasant to see :)

Really Enjoyed It!! Was fun and interesting to see how many ways you could die. Super impressive for one week of development.

This game looks amazing! It took while to finish, mainly due to the fact that you have to walk back everytime you die. Maybe you should start a couple of rooms back from where you died instead. Great Job!

Really liked the atmosphere and graphics.

I got two finals, the one that he got shot and the ocultist one :D

This is a nice game. The atmosphere really matched the game. The control was smooth. I was shot, tortured and then killed for messing with the family business. Overall a well made game.

This's an amazing game. There are lots of branches. The graphics look very professional!

It would perfect if you could implement the running, since the prison is pretty large.

I liked the memes you sprinkled throughout (we live in a society, bottom text, etc) and it looks quite good too.

The main issue is that you start from the beginning after dying, which can get annoying if you're trying to get to all the endings. :)

Solid game for a jam! The art is surprising for a jam too but then again Im always impressed by 3d art considering I suck at it. Good job on this, I had some good laughs too, especially by just the walking animation that's really derpy. Keep on creating stuff like this!

Developer

the walk animation is unintentionally funny tho, i'm indeed a 3d artist, but not really specialized in 3d animation, thanks for playing!

played it before ratings started overall a solid game with a funny story line and dialogues also the environment looks dope, it make me wonder if this is a solo or group project?

Developer

Almost solo, i did myself the 3d art, programming, animations, i had just a little help for the ambience in the background and the death sound effect, both done by my friend Daniel Romeros (also another of the dev team of Shoppe Keep 2) since i have zero knowledge about music and sounds :D

Finally I can't find the way out. But the graphic is very cool.

I like it! But one question: Is there a real exit?

Developer

yup, there is one where he escape
