I loved the music and sound. The animations were great too. I think it was really innovative how you handled the theme. I think there is a bug where I can leave the play area. But other than that, I think if you move forward with this, power-ups and increasing speed would be great additions. Thanks for this game! Loved it!

Really cool game you made! Loved the music and the sound effects. The way the bees wait a little before chasing you is very player friendly, really nice. There are no borders at the edge of the screen, so you are able to leave the screen, but it's not that big of a problem. Great job overall!

Saw that was your first game jam, good job! I really liked the animation on the bees behind the honey and how you had one show up and wait a moment before chasing after the player. The music was really nice too.

If you wanted to improve, I suggest on having a high-score screen instead of just restarting the game, I know I got more then 34 but don't know what my actual final score was. I also suggest adding in some additional enemy types to help switch up the gameplay some more.

Overall, fun little arcade game!

great. thanks. checked and rated your game and it is very polished. I am not familiar with lights effects you use in th dungeon - is there a good tutorial for unity on how to do it?

I have no idea, I don't use Unity as my game engine, I use Defold. Even with the implementation in Defold it is mostly beyond me. It was a lot of complex rendering code mixed with giving specific sprites a custom material and adding a mesh to the levels for the darkness to be drawn on top of.

Nice game, I like that the honeypot has a little wobble animation.

The gameplay could be improved to be more challenging and action packed though.

In the end, it is a pretty decent and finished game, congrats ;)

That was fun my highscore is 32 :D My only problem is that it is too repetitive maybe adding some kind of power ups or diffrent bee types can make the game more exciting. Overall i had fun with this one great work :D

(Those sound effects are brilliant btw)

cool game, you have to be careful about how you collect the honey, it's very fun to play.

you have to put a barrier or something around the screen, i went offscreen and couldn't enter again because i didn't knew where my character was. other than that its a good game.

Yeah. Walls/barriers were strongly considered. But I decided that it is a minor issue if not a benefit for the player - it actually allows player to dodge bees by going outside screen - if done smartly - this can increase the space)))

PS. I wanted to try your game - unfortunately it is not on Mac( it seem to me I need to consider switching to PC as there is so much going on there)...

i didn't install the tools to make a build for that os.... pc has been the standard for gaming besides consoles, (as far as i know of course) i didn't hear things like a skyrim port for linux or mac (i can be wrong tho),  can you make partitions in a mac pc?? maybe they locked down that option on they hard drives...

Really fun game! It got addictive quick lol. My feedback would be to put some walls around the screen, because the your character can fly outside the screen and evade the other bees easier. My records is 42!

Most of all I like balance of player and bees speed, it make game very pleasant to play. One or two times i try to collect honey at highscore, silly me. Well done!

Fun little game! I noticed you mentioned you're a dad, me too! My 2 yr. old loved watching me play your game, haha. The SFX and music were great and engaging. The only thing I'd recommend is making your UI stand out a bit more. It was tricky to see my score or other text against your background. I also kept thinking my honey item icon was something I needed to collect. Other than that, great first game. Good job!

It was funny escaping from the bees with the music on, the music matched the whole getting chased vibe and reminded me of the minigames in club penguin. The game seemed minimal and fit the theme however i do think that the visuals could've been improved and some sort of variation to the bees could've been added. Good job ;3
