for whatever reason when i try to sleep, it wakes me up a milisecond later, and sometimes when i can sleep, my game lags a ton, it isnt happening for me right now but it still happens a lot, and i'm pretty sure its also not a event

It most likely IS an event. AFAIK events and entities are the only thing that will force you to stay awake. next time it happens try typing "debug events" in the console, this should show you what event maybe be causing it.

9/10 this is the ship in the sky or a wisp, coming into view only when youre asleep, triggering meta paranoia (but only while it is in view)

tf is this? how to fix it?

maybe try regenerate sav.data in the settings. that's the only thing i can think, or maybe the color hue options.

for some reason when i tried doing the puzzle with the stones in the tutorial map after getting inside the vent and going up the ladder, theres a fall but for some rasom i looks like the flo isn't loading, getting stuck on this massive hole, is this intended? because it looks  like there is suposed to be a floor there.

If this is the pit that i'm thinking of there should be an item in it somewhere near a corner. Then you have to ragdoll and it should teleport you back up to the beginning of the tutorial. (I haven't done it since the update first came out so i'm kinda blurry on the details.) lol but the ragdoll to teleport thing only works 1 time i'm pretty sure so if you already ragdolled and teleported back to tutorial start you have to redo it all.

For some reason, color filter turned on with 1920x1080 resolution makes my screen flicker green when moving.

I set the resolution of the game to the max, far higher than my monitor and it crashed my entire computer. Upon reloading the game it set every setting to the minimum and my save was missing. I ended up redownloading the game though, in retrospect I probably should have debugged it more to find where the problem lies but I'm afraid of risking my computer.

In 0.8.2c i have 2 problems/bugs:

1. something on transformer №3 exploding after creating the save. (I think its a prop bug)

2. atv suspesion also broken and because of this, traveling on it becomes a real torture.

If you ragdoll and fall onto where one of the direction signs are, you clip into it and will fall thru the map when you get up. I've died a surprising amount of times with way.

If you clip under the map this way, try to quickly ragdoll as you are falling. When you are ragdolled far enough underneath the map, you get teleported back to the security checkpoint at the fence.

I had the achievement "Where do you think you're going?" pop up while I was back at base cooking shrimps, followed a minute later by the achievement "The hole". Looking at the radar, there was a blip way out on the west edge of the map by Yankee, but I didn't have remotely near enough stamina left to go check it out in person before it was gone. Whatever it was, I think there's a bug that allows wandering entities to trigger achievements.

Opening the game and loading my save I had 0 hunger and 0 sleep when the game loaded. I was near the gravel pile near Transformer 1 wearing the hazmat suit when I saved and exited the game. Still wearing the hazmat suit when the game loaded but with 0 hunger and 0 sleep and also 0.0 flashlight.

Using the 'precise placement' / Shift+Alt with a glowstick will keep the first glowstick you placed in memory for an undetermined amount of time. Using the feature with any other object including future glowsticks will viciously pull the initial glowstick to the object's location.


This does not happen when placing glowsticks with Alt+R.

I had the bad sun event spawn on the 24 and it instantly ended. Giving me the completion achievement.


The most I know that I did was I slept til 4:03 woke up started the day at night did some stuff like getting a hash code and fixing some servers. I had not realized it was the 24th and went back to bed again before the day started because I had not gotten a full rest in. When my character reawakened it was right as the sun started to peak over the horizon and I got the achievement. The sun does not seem to be killing me so...


Also I now don't have daily tasks. It is currently 5:42 Next day and I have no tasks to do. There is no email and when I try to make a report it simply says

"Satellite hashcode report form"

The bad sun event occurred on day 10 and the no hash codes occurred on day 11

Also Also When I shipped a box of drives because I needed money it did not give me any email on failing to provide hash codes. It also gave me the money as though I was sending a box of drives after I completed the daily tasks

bug report form is down, takes you to a Google Drive page that states:

Make sure that you have the correct URL and the owner of the file hasn't deleted it.

Okay, so I had this happen a couple times where I set Kerfur-Omega to patrol inside the base (locked doors leading outside) while I slept and when I woke up he was missing but his camera showed he was inside some kind of meat hell. The first time he showed back up outside and deactivated when some other event caused the power to fluctuate (I think this event wanted to deactivate him so it got him out of wherever he was). The second time he just stayed there while the meta-paranoia sound continued and I couldn't save or sleep. I decided to take care of a couple tasks out in the field (just repairing the transformers since they were a little low) figuring there was a chance I would move far enough away from whatever was keeping me from saving or sleeping but the meta-paranoia persisted the whole time. After fixing all three transformers I went to Romeo and tried debug events and saw the skerfuo_Walk_red_C event was active with the object skerfuro_Walk_red_C_2147133520

I looked up the event to see if I was missing something but couldn't find a way to proceed to I used debug scrape. That got rid of the paranoia. Went back to base, found kerfur, and continued about my business until I got a message saying skerfuro_Walk_red_C_2147133520 had encountered some kind of issue and to report it on the bug forum. I don't remember the exact wording of the alert and unfortunately, despite my efforts, didn't manage to catch any screenshots.

I believe the issue is related to the meat hell Kerfur was stuck in. Both times this happened because I told him to patrol the base while I slept and I kept the base doors locked because I don't actually want him to wander far, just try to stop aliens from killing me in my sleep. The in-game day was 41 & 42, I believe or around there. Definitely higher than 38. Hope this is at all helpful.

When Kerfur-O is trapped in the meat hell you need to check all the windows in the base. It's not very well telegraphed, if at all, but when you look through the correct one you might catch an entity walking away from it and Kerfur-O will be returned to you. It's possible that the error is caused from scraping the event without completing it as intended.

I filled a scrap cart full of meat, making it heavy. I crouch jumped into the thinner side of the cart, and phased through the floor of the map. The cart's front wheels were on the lower concreate part of the loading dock outside the base, while the back wheels were stuck on the gravel, creating a slight incline.

Extract the files

Most likely a corrupt download, make sure you download the game from the games homepage using the "download now" button and then use 7zip to extract the full structure of the game.

so after day 7 (or sunday, doesn't really matter what day exactly) without restarting the save, every next day is always gonna be sunday + you'll be receiving bonus points.

I don't think this was intended, also it may be my fault im on linux running the game via protonGE10-10
I go to the computer to check my email, if I click on any user image profile I get a new email with a lot of random data, I can do that indefinitely

I don't actually know if it is confirmed, but I think this is intentional for whatever reason. In an older version, clicking an email once caused you to get endlessly spammed with emails and no way to stop them, but after that was reported, doing it now just causes you to get one email per click instead of being completely removed.

The game hates my monitor resolution 1440p 180hz it doesnt fill up the whole screen and when i click on anything it does what the sims 4 does when you have dual monitors in full screen....

Do the Arirals just not feed you in your sleep anymore? I've been on a new save, and gotten to "Loyal" rank really fast, but the condition of being at less than 50 hunger when you go to bed, doesn't let them feed you anymore? Is this a bug, or a removed feature?

I DO get food thrown at me, and the big blue shrimp dropped on the bed, but that's all.

Probably a glitch, there is supposed to be two posters at the ariral treehouse but they shouldn't be custom posters. One should spawn next to the fire as you have pictured, it looks like a tattered banner or something,  and the other should be on the treehouse, it looks like a male ariral standing on a planet i think.

Ragdolling with C on the cargo elevator of the garage deals damage continuously until it kills you

Don't know if its bug or intended but anyway, when i was in Tutorial, i was making it through a ventilation route(above servers), in the end of it, in the pit, i pressed C button to ragdoll and get back to spawn location, but when personage got up, i had black screen, deep slow glitch sound and Fatal Error, don't have many information why it happened, tried to search - nothing.

The tutorial has an anti-OOB system to prevent you from getting outside the map, crashing the game if you clip into a wall or outside the general playable area.

I think the being sent back to spawn on ragdoll is intentional. It only happens one time per playthrough of the tutorial and it is actually something i used when doing the tutorial "easter egg" and i'm pretty sure it's meant to be a way to progress after falling into the pit with bones.

Hello! I started playing this game recently and am really enjoying myself! I began the story mode save on 0.8.2 and ran into an issue 16 days into the play-through. There were mannequins all over the ground, which to my understanding is intentional to some extent. What seems unintentional, is there's this floating mannequin who I can't hook or destroy by throwing my crowbar at them. No matter what I try I can't reach them, pull them down, or destroy them. (Though it is not explicitly  in this screenshot, When I arrived there were mannequins all over the floor, with this one hovering over them)



I looked online as best as I could without spoiling myself to see if I could find someone replicating the issue, and I did find a reddit thread from about a year ago that shows the same issue here

r/Voicesofthevoid - Can ANYONE tell me what happened here?? All of the mannequins from my base disappeared. I assume only one is supposed to do that and then end up attacking you or something but instead they all ended up in a pile with one of them floating like THAT

Someone suggested it might be some kind of glitch with too many mannequins being teleported at once? I will note that I didn't break any of the mannequins in my base prior to this happening, so it's possible there were a lot that got teleported to the same location at once.

If this is intended I do apologize for misunderstanding and filing a report!
If it is not intended I hope the info I provided helps with any possible fix!

This is most likely intentional. It doesn't matter if you break the dummies in the base or not, there will always be one in the air. It doesn't seem like a bug because it always happens.

UPDATE: So I replayed from a new save all the way to day 16, this time breaking all the mannequins I could find before they teleport. They similarly spawned in a pile in one location, but there were in fact a lot less of them and there was not a visible mannequin floating in the air this time. This leads me to assume either what you've said is true, and it's SUPPOSED to be in the air, and I've now encountered a bug where that doesn't happen, or that what I found originally IS a bug, and getting rid of extra mannequins removed the floating one.

Most likely, you just broke the one that was supposed to hang in the air. It seems that mannequins are not only located at the base. I don't know where else they live, though.

There is one last mannequin hidden out of bounds in the inaccessible old basement, so it is currently impossible to truly get rid of them before they teleport without cheats.

So I have a problem once I start the game, since it decides to rebuild something in the game in the start due to graphs outd, it ends messing with the mouse so if I have my mouse on the save button, instead saving, it will resume the game, this is an example, since if I put my mouse in the settings, it will save.

Your game and screen resolutions do not match. Change this in the settings

100% volume on radio, can't change it. I set it to 3% and it still playing on full volume.

radio works a little bit strange, volume always on 100% even when i rejoin to save and change it to 3%, it worked correctly until 25-27 days

I have twice  lost my save to being randomly teleported to the maze event. This has occurred while sleeping and while getting caught by the sleep demon .  

В бесконечном режиме хотел собрать Керфур-О но когда зашел в бункер отсутствовала книга 'Керфур-О полная инструкция' как оказалось она была в правом переднем углу бункера прямо за ящиками и случайно выпадала за текстуры или в соседнюю комнату потому что я пытаясь ее достать случайно вдавливал ее теми самыми ящиками которые ее и закрывали. На других сейвах она была там же и я мог ее достать если был достаточно аккуратен, но на основном сейве я больше не мог ее достать(

Why can't I give the omega kerfur skin to version 0.8.2c. For example, by combining omega kerfur (no color) with "keljoy" plush. It works in 0.8.2 but doesn't work in 0.8.2c.

Secret skins now quite The Funny Setting to be enabled for them to be crafted.

Hello guys, I've been having a bug where my kerfur is not showing on the radar so I simply can't find it. Is there any way to fix it?

Whenever I try to open the game it gives this error:

C:\WIndows\SYSTEM32\XAPOFX1_5/dll is either not designed to run on windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support.


I've reinstalled the game already and it didn't change anything. This is a new PC from when i played the last version of the game so it could be on my end. If it helps, this is the same error that it gave me when I tried playing Friday the 13th (which I found out is because the game was shut down due to expiring licenses or something). If it's an issue on my end, is it possible someone could help? 

"bad image" implies that your installation is corrupt. you may need to redownload the game, and consider if your hard drive has gone bad.

all i see as an enemy is big black rectangle. and when it hit me my game crashed. is it part of the game or not? if not how do i fix it

Big black rectangle appears after being in the game for a certain amount of time, you can just avoid it by hopping on the base and it will leave eventually. It is meant to be a sign from the dev to "take a break" from the game. If you're unsatisfied with the amount of "enemies" so far, the game can be very uneventful for the first two-ish weeks. I typically use this time to clean the base and stockpile signal/points.

my radio tower disappeared a little before midnight, and a while after that I got an 'invalid event' popup. around 7am ingame after getting 3 signals of cameras pointed at the signal desk, the screen went black, I got the 'do not look in the locker' popup, and the game crashed with another 'invalid event' popup (I think maybe because I had a locker open already it auto triggered the event?). after reloading the save the tower is back and everything seems normal again, though the daily drive+MRE shipment didn't arrive even after the tower returned.

The tower disappearing is an event i'm pretty sure. And so is the crash from having the locker open.

I'm unable to place the gas can in the cremator in order to fill it. Doesn't matter what interaction key I use. Pressing E gives me the invalid sound effect, either mouse click just tells me the can is empty. :^/

Drop the gas can and physically place it in the slot.

Whenever I try to play and then enter either the tutorial or the story version of the game, the next time I open any menu the hit boxes (like for inventory or for pause menu) are always far away so much so that it makes it impossible to play the game. I use a linux system and am using wine, but I'm not sure if that should be effecting the game.

I just recently, finally, made the Omega Kerfur, but after a day of having them, they just no longer work. I will turn them on, and no matter what I do, they will ALWAYS turn themself off after around 10-15 seconds. The problem still persists even if you break them down and rebuild them, or if I put them in the other skins.

I have checked by making a sandbox save: This issue is only in my normal story mode save

Try resetting the transformers.

That's a unique idea to fix it, but I can see how that could work

For anyone who passes by, the way to fix this bug is specifically by hitting the transformers, then pressing the button to restart it.

It isn't actually a bug, nor is it (directly) fixed by resetting the transformers. There are a couple events with this effect on Kerfur-Omega, and they are often triggered and subsequently ended by going near a specific location, usually the main computer or a specific transformer.

Telling people to fix the transformers is just my spoiler-free way of directing them to the events, should they not make themselves obvious enough to get the player to go out there on their own. The events should cause the transformers to go down to lure you out there, but as far as I know, that might be bugged currently.

Ambience mode player here, here's what I noticed after 40 days:

Skerfur can trigger in ambience. This happened to me when I sent my Kerfur-O outside around 1AM. This seems almost certainly like a bug. As the Skerfur event is pretty spooky.

Superfog can trigger in ambience. Not sure if this is a bug since it's not exactly a scary event. But it does lock out sleeping/pausing/saving during it.

Dreams can trigger in ambience. Not sure if it's working as intended or a bug. Not the most scary stuff but a few of them, like the rising water level or being chased by shadowy figures, that gave me cold sweats.

Toyota Corolla can spawn in ambience. Not the most spooky thing, but I think it counts as one of the random events? Therefore I'm thinking it shouldn't trigger.

If you set a mannequin on fire, they will become permanently(?) hostile, even if you extinguish them after the fact. It takes a while for the cremator to burn them, so you just have to be patient.

The computer terminals in the base and satellite dishes can still accept commands such as sv.target and llama.saatana while "Calculations" power is turned off.

Anybody else been seeing a bunch of these weird "blank" plants around the map? they appear all over the place, look like just the little hillock of dry dirt from when you've planted a seed but forgot to water it:


...and they never grow into anything, no matter how long you wait. clicking "use" on them just makes them disappear with a THWAP sound and an error message:

very odd. whatever "shroom_7_C" is, it doesn't seem to be spawning quite right.

This is what is planted when a puffball mushroom explodes into spores. It used to work properly in older versions where only mushrooms could be grown, but the full farming system seems to have broken it.

Im not sure if this is a bug but randomly I got teleported to a white void, any item I dropped was not visible but still could be interacted with, there was no entities, and meta paranoia was active, I also couldnt open the pause menu in any compacity. Eventually I got teleported to the front gate. Latest patch, was near the garage just looking at my atv when this happened, just in front of the garage. Everything worked fine afterward, maybe clipped through the world?

If you use the physics gun (overcharged unknown weapon) on the immobile vents, you gain the ability to hold and collect the vents and they freeze inside your body when you drop them 

There is a random invisible patch of air by the edge of the river at X:325 Y:-420. It looks like nothing is wrong from the outside, but you can walk, breathe, and jump normally in there.

Insane Saturation - the whole screen goes white and yellow when I press apply after resetting to defaults

This has something to do with both the color filter and hue settings, try messing with them.

you can fly by using an item box and a metal desk by putting the item box in one of the table's holes. version is 0.8.2b

Во время доставки дрона произошло сохрание и он улетал. он не успел далеко улететь и после этого я умер и меня откатило на сейв когда он скидывал груз и после он не может вылететь за пределы красного барьера - ровно так же, как это происходит и с игроком - он просто бьется об стенку и всё, если добраться до него с помощью крюка  и потыкать то он может пролететь через стену и улететь. Но при повторном прилёте он так же не сможет вылететь за пределы красного барьера, вызывая моментами уже soft-lock 0.8.2с

I've heard the Itch.io launcher isn't compatible with this game, try downloading the game and putting it into it's own folder.

1. Your Google forms link is dead.

2. My game consistently crashes when I idle on the main menu for > 1 min. Error message: “LowLevelFatalError [File:Unknown] [Line: 198] Unreal Engine is exiting due to D3D device being lost. (Error:0x887A0006 - 'HUNG')”. After closing the error popup, the game is unresponsive and shows the last rendered menu frame. Music continues looping, but I need to close the executable with the task manager. The game itself runs fine once out of the main menu. I had the same experience in all previous versions, I just never reported it.

I don't experience that behavior with any other game. I run a GTX 1080 in an otherwise fairly up-to-date system with Windows 11 and current drivers.

3. Selecting save games to delete is buggy and may lead to accidentally deleting the wrong save file. With multiple game saves / slots, first select different save files / slots one after another and then try to delete one. I get a sidebar error “Invalid save file” and if I continue with the deletion by accepting the popup, a different save from the one last selected is deleted.

Let me know if I can provide further support.

After the Arrial event when they lift everything into the sky, plates (I think) got stuck in the wall, making an awful never ending clanking noise. Its so bad i might have to just quit my save because its so loud and i cannot find where its coming from :(

You could turn off physics objects in options that might stop the sound, you could also load an earlier save if you have one and then there is another setting that i think prevents events that mess with physics objects.

Tried using the scrap container up and down the elevator. Never had issues with it before now. I hooked it up to rest on top of the platform ,then I hit the button to send it up. When I came upstairs to meet it up there it had not come up. I came back down and the elevator was slightly skewed with the scrap container embedded inside it. I will note I always make sure to take the hook off the scrap container before sending it up, so that is not what embedded it. I tried pulling the scrap container out with the grab function and then with hooks, and that made the skew worse. This is when I took the screenshot.

Try using the push broom to knock it out of the wall or if you have gotten a certain physics-related object try using it to grab the container and then run away while still grabbing the container. It should eventually pop out. You could also try hooking it to the atv then driving out of the garage.

Trash is stuck between wall and locker, I can't pick it up or move it at all and it is crashing against the locker with the super loud metal crash repeatedly. I tried to burn it (Molotov) but it did not effect it at all. 

Try pushing it out with a broom, there should be one in the supply closet.

failure to save while on ATV has an unspecified error rather than a specified error (should be "can't save mid-air")

If you're referring to "Save Error: NULL", that is intended (you're technically not in the air, but also not not in the air...lol).

If it's a different error, then that's odd.

No bugs or coaches of any kind i mean just 1 cuz u force me to and wanted to ask what exactly is exclusive to patreon and what is not 

Please help. Idk where to post my problem, hopefully someone can explain. My Kerfur keeps avoiding the front door anytime it's finished fixing servers, and instead defaults to moving towards the glitched triangular shaped floor near the window and keeps clipping under the map. The weird thing is, this never happened before. I first started playing this game on *infinite* gamemode (not realizing I'd be missing story events, chose this because I thought story mode ends and you would have to start over again) but my nephew was playing this on his own time in story mode, and neither did my Kerfur in *infinite* or his Kerfur in *story* mode have this problem. Kerfur would always enter thru the front door when it couldn't find anymore servers to fix and come straight to us. But when I started a new save on *story* mode, I got Kerfur again and for whatever reason it now always does this but only on MY *story* save. Not on any other save... why???? why am I cursed? 

I don't know if anybody's mentioned it but I've tried using the tv and it worked fine at first, had a 480p single video saved in the file it was supposed to, the tv turned that video on
all was well... then a minute or two later it crashed the game, found a forum on reddit as well of people having the same issue
so I thought I'd mention that just in case
