Absolutely adorable! Like the gameplay concept, tough to perfectly balance in 48hrs, but very well done!

How does your game fit the theme?
I reversed the Monster-Taming genre roles, you play as the "pocket monster". I always thought, games like Pokemon are kind of messed up. You get captured, forced to fight and feel pain over and over. Being enslaved by the monster trainers is horrible... So now, you have decided to escape and find freedom!! I had a ton of ideas, but with the time I was only able to make a simple Bullet Heaven game. Can you survive for 10 minutes and escape??

Pretty challenging, but I like the idea and design of the gameplay, could use some tweaks, but overall good job in 48 hrs. It was pretty gruesome seeing the lil mini-mon get all beat up :,(
Poor little Milachu... Not sure if I can play a "mini-mon" game again.
Game is pretty well rounded for a jam game (+1 for another solo dev), but feels a little bit slow to me at the start and how it ramps up. Good job!
Very cute Vampire Survivors style game!! Interesting to see the "mini-mon's" perspective of this whole creature collector situation. Haha! Good job!!
I made it all the way to the end, the orbiting lightning is OP. Good job on the game!
The game was very lovely! Felt very smooth and I dont regret a second of it HAHA! Also, axes are friggin op in the early stages, thanks for the work brother :D
Hey, it’s you, Yester-Sol guy! Nice to see you again :)
Game is pretty cool! Unfortunately, I’m really bad at it. I thought I had it figured out on my third try (shock zone upgrades seemed so good), but the wave at ~ 3 minutes always seems to kill me.
Overall, balancing feels not too bad for a jam game and collecting the different attack types was a lot of fun. Maybe not the first “Pokemon (I mean, Minimon) trainers are actually evil”-take, but certainly a pretty good one :)
Pretty neat game! The concept of playing as pokemon and fighting pokemon trainers is amazing. I felt like game got so easier when i level'd up my first ability and from that moment noone has ever reached my hitbox. I feel like you could've added some enemies who would throw some projectile at you (pokeballs or something) to make game more challenging. Near end there was so many enemies that the game started to lag a bit and i hoped there was a way to somehow heal in exchange of one level or something. But the game felt so satisfying melting through all the enemies. In the end i was at level 40 with all 5 weapons maxed-out. Great entry and good job!
I like the concept, but the balance seems a bit off, especially at the beginning and end. At the beginning, it feels like the player lacks a lot of maneuverability to get around the enemies and at the end it's too crowded. Good job though!
The game has a fun backstory but the difficulty curve is very sharp as more trainers surround the player. Would be nice to influence the attacks with the mouse cursor. Something cool would be to see other Mini-Mon fight back and team up with them to make a bigger army.
I really liked the backstory, it seemed really simple at first, but then I got completely surrounded and the upgrades saved me, the difficulty curve is incredibly well done.
You made a full game! Fits the theme of reversing roles, and everything seems to work. Great first prototype of a Vampire Survivors style game!
Awesome game 5/5 It took a few trials to get the hang with all weapons, that said it plays very good and was just because of natural learning curve, which felt very neat. The last minutes were sooo crowded. It would have been so funny to evolve into the next form after 10 minutes :D
Hey Neat Games! I watch your Youtube videos, you might remember me as TomInbound from when I was working on Hoist, will you be doing a video on this game?
Actual game review time, great visuals and animations when you get close ups during the opening, its lost a little when viewed from a distance, I wonder if a slightly different camera angle or zoom level would show off the art a little more, builds fast, had large hordes of enemies which was fun. Great submission!
