I thought I was so creative to make an anti-fishing game, but it seems I wasn't the only one <3

I really liked your take on it. The music was nice, the graphics were not distracting, and the gameplay was solid! I could imagine this as a children's iPad game or something.

I really enjoyed it! It made me feel like a big fish. I'm getting FAT on my lettuce. I like the game it took a second to figure out the controls, though. The human is trying to kill me. Bad human, bad! In all seriousness. I really enjoyed it! The art was great! I enjoyed that fish! I enjoyed the audio too! I'm really happy to see  another game that's fully made by the creators! If you have time, could you come rate my game? Our too was fully made by us!

Great game!

Cool idea. Works very well for a small game like this. It's a simple mechanic but I actually had a couple of theories on how is the food different. Good job

Pretty dark vibe considering how cute the fish is, but pretty fun idea overall and quite challenging to play! I “solved” the puzzle by just eating everything and freeing myself if it was bait, just because poking was pretty tedious and I didn’t find the effect very obvious. Maybe you could make being caught a little more punishing?

Yeah that would make the main mechanic more useful. Next time I'll be sure to playtest the game before release. Thanks for playing!

-Enjoyment: Fun times! The controls for the fish are really great~

-Creativity: It is a cool idea!

-Presentation: The art looks awesome~ I like the fish expressions too.  Some parallax background would make it perfect.

-Neat game indeed!! Please check out my non-creative entry when you can :D

Cool idea! I like this take on the theme. I do think the health ticks down a bit fast for me

I really like the idea and think you executed it really well. Also it was incredibly well polished. Helped me relate to the every day struggle of fish.

This game got us immediately hooked. Lettuce know what you think about our game.

Similiar idea!! Great job that was fun

Yeah I think the difference is bait floats up slightly? I dunno. But the game is nicely done :D

Submitted

Cool game, it's a little difficult to determine bait vs food even with the hint especially with how fast the health ticks down.

I enjoyed playing! Nice sound and art :)

Nice game 👍. It's pretty difficult to identify real and fake one.

I made it to 56 seconds :).  I felt like lettuce was super rare, bait or not, so I ended up just rushing every lettuce I saw and dealing with the hooks if they happened to be there lol :]

Nice presentation!  Your sister did a great job with the cover :)!

made it to 52 s with your strategy :).

Looks like we had a similar idea for the theme. Having to test food for safety is pretty cool,  a lot of the other reverse-fishers involve dodging hooks and stuff but I like this idea.
