Adding some more levels and this would be so perfect! I loved the concept a lot, and had a lot of fun trying to get past the last hurdle! Wanted to play more :D
Very fun and polished! Controller support is a plus!
I was worried that I wouldn't be able to get into this game, because I'm not super into sports in general, but it turned out to be very fun and I wanted to do more in it!
I'm definitely glad that I noticed that it supported controller, because it felt phenomenal to play with a controller, and was really intuitive with the buttons as well! There was also a lot of great decisions made in this game all-around (like the sound choices), and I'm glad I was able to play it!
I was confused at first with the difference between throws and passing, but once I got the hang of it, the game was really fun. Good balance, I found it decently challenging. The only thing I think I would want to see is more levels, to teach the controls and give a feeling of progression.
Yeah, as it stands the throw is a bit useless. I initially planned it, so you could throw the bomb at towers to destroy them. But that didn't really work out, but I didn't want to remove the throw completely. More levels and more/better progression of difficulty was also planned, but had to scrap due to time constraints.
Anyways, thank you for playing and for your feedback!
A fun spin on the tower defence genre~
Some of the towers felt a bit mean, but there were enough goblins(?) spawning it wasn't unfair.
Good job~
Yes, the it gets pretty hard towards the end of the level, but I didn't have the time to finetune it any more and just increased the respawn rate of the goblins :D
Really nice touch with the passing! Bit confusing at times, but fun none the less. Good job!
Thank you! Yes, I think it's missing some kind of indication of where the pass will go.
What an awesome way of adding a spin to the game jam theme. Really awesome that you've not just reversed the role but also added the sport element. So creative and fun to play. Had a great time.
Amazing job! What a treat.
Nice game, and the art, and music is really good. My only feedback would be to increase the camera movement speed.
Thank you for playing and for the feedback! I will take it into account when I update the game :)
I think this is my favorite game of the entire Jam
Something just clicks in me with this one! I love it!
Thank you very much. That means a lot, especially from someone with a game as awesome as yours!
This is awesome :D! Feels very smooth and juicy, plays like a charm!
I think the bombs have lots of potential: why not make barricades you have to bomb through, for example :)! Or maybe you could make the archers explode. I wish there was a timer as well, this would be loads of fun to speedrun!
Congrats on this little gem, I enjoyed it a lot :)!
Thank you for playing and for the feedback. All the things you mentioned, are things I planned or would have loved to add, but there just wasn’t enough time.
But I can see myself working on this game in the future.
If you do, I'll love to see it :)!
I really enjoy this! So creative, fun, and polished! I find the later part of the stage really difficult (maybe skill issue), but the music and art is also really good!
Thank you very much! I agree that the last part is a bit too hard/luck dependent, but I just ran out of time and figured I'd rather make it a bit too hard, than too easy, where you can just straight run through it.
It also makes finally scoring a touchdown pretty rewarding (at least to me), especially, if you manage to throw a pass into the endzone.
Enjoyed playing this! you've managed to balance the difficulty and fun well, good choice of music track to go with it
Thank you very much! The music was a really lucky find. I knew exactly what kind of music I wanted and in the about ~5-10 minutes I had to look for it, I found the perfect match :D
Love the high-energy music, and the incorporation of first-downs as checkpoints. Really creative stuff and tons of fun too. Nice job!
Thank you! I noticed during playtesting, that checkpoints would be needed and first-downs where the perfect match!
I enjoy playing the game, but I find the first and only challenge to be too difficult. It would be great if you could add more levels to the game. Excellent art and game mechanics! Quite Impressive!
Thank you for playing and for your feedback! I agree that it needs more tweaking and I'm sure I will upload an improved version once the rating period is finished.
This game rules! i love the art style and the goblin with a bomb for ball remind me of bloodball! the last bit it was tough and i used my friend as a meat shield 10/10.
Thank you! After coming up with the combination of goblins and football, I actually remembered Blood Bowl as well. I think I played a demo of it back in the days on Xbox 360. Maybe it was a subconscious inspiration...
Love the art and the goblins! Very fun game
Thank you!
Cool game! Would love to see more
Thank you very much! I made release an updated version after the rating period is over. I had many more ideas that I wasn't able to finish in time.
very cool game, the gameplay is very nice, it seems like i am playing a football game. LOL.
btw very nice work Good Job!.
Thank you for playing! Yes, it evolved more into a sports game than a reverse Tower Defense during development... I like to let the fun during prototyping lead me to the final game... even if it's not exactly what I had in mind at the start.
It's best even if it is the football game. people are liking it this way.
I really like the gameplay here, felt very creative and unique. The game felt challenging even without a full loss condition; I think the checkpoints were a good idea in that regard. Very well done!

Thank you for playing. I noticed that the checkpoints where definitely needed when I started playing myself. But they also fit in great with the football theme.
I love the theming around football and having a goblin football team rush down the field is amazing.
The saw blades were great especially in the final part where it forced you to have to pass to your goblin teammates.
This was a great game! Good job
Thank you very much!
Would have loved to add more/better scenarios where the passing (and throwing) would be needed, but I ran out of time...
