The game's super tough, but I like that each platforming challenge feels like it's possible with any combination of abilities. With some practice and quick thinking, this feels like it would be a fun game to speedrun : )

This is amazing!! I'm very bad but it was super fun to play and felt amazing. Love the use of pico8, i have been meaning to learn it for ages now.

Impeccable level design - very light, fun, and bouncy. I might have ordered the levels differently - found the first level much harder than the second - but the puzzle portion of the second level really made this special.

I really like this game! The concept is great and executed well. I think there could be some minor tweaks to the physics/controls (you accelerate quickly to a bit too high of a top speed imo, the fall speed could be a bit slower). The cooldown to see your next ability is also a tad too long. Overall though, the game is very fun!

It amazing to see another game sharing the same concept with mine haha! Although I know level design is the most challenging part (I had a hard time in this also), you should make the game less RNG-dependent. Dying to bad RNG takes out the fun, which happens when certain area cannot be passed with all the X powers (like getting the rope but you are already past the ring). I do like the art style and sound effects. Great job!

Fantastic the pixel art and music. Love the use of theme but maybe a bit too tied to random especially when there is only one right answer to pass some areas. I would love to see this expanded and further developed. Maybe less random and some new abilities and enemies. Great job.

Yeah, randomness can be annoying some times, although I’m pretty sure every part can be passed with any combination of abilities, even if it’s harder with with some in certain situations.

Super cool design, and i generally like the concept.

But maybe a normal jump button would help alot, so you can use your rolls as help, not as the only way to move around :)

There actually is a jump button (the z key) but its existence was likely overshadowed in the intro by the function of the x button.

So, ironically, I forgot to put in a running animation, which I was going to do right at the start, but ended up making the map-reading/entity system instead.

Then I was going to do it at the end, but I forgot...

And I did check out your game! :)

love the graphics and audio!

the gameplay could use a bit of work. i think it would work a lot better if you designed each section around a specific sequence of dice rolls and then guaranteed those dice rolls every time. as it is, it feels very random (i guess thats the point).

i am definetly not good enough at platformers to beat this.

GREAT concept, GREAT art, GREAT music. Game's addicting and I practically had to pry myself away from it. My only complaint is that the grapple die is janky and the momentum you get is almost useless, as you need to be pretty far from it to actually get anywhere. But otherwise, very well done!

This is a hard game, but it's fun to play. I like the limited randomness, how each part is doable, albeit with different difficulty, regardless of your abilities. Bold and creative concept, well executed, and fun to play.

I think it’s quite impressive that each part of the levels are solvable with most of the combinations of the special abilities. Even though it was really (really) hard, it was interesting enough to keep trying and I reached the end somehow. Sometimes I had no idea what I was doing but I was happy to find myself at the next checkpoint.

Overall it was an enjoyable experience, nice work! It would be interesting to see more levels with this concept.
