This is very similar to my own jam entry! (even two of the abilities in our games are the same)
The one problem with this idea that I also had is that some times you need a specific ability to get past a section, so its just annoying to hope you get the right ability.
I fixed this by making the abilities and levels so that you can generally get past anything with any combination of abilities if you react fast enough, though its not fool proof.
Its fun to know that others had the same idea!
I tried to approach this problem by having multiple path (or making it super easy lol). I expect the thought flow to be observing the power, choosing the right path, and then executing it right.
Either way I think it takes a lot of work to polish the level design. Guess we're really brave to take this idea.
This was super fun to play! I wish there were some more levels but the extra hard mode was a nice touch to add a little extra replay value
Glad you like it! I wish I had more time to make the level longer haha.
I liked it, good work. It is hard to get used to the double jump, because you need to do each jump with a different button, but it is nice that all abilities are useful.
Fair point. I could actually make it that double jump can be performed by press jump twice. Thanks for playing!
interesting idea, I would make it so most challenges can be solved in some way via any ability, that way you aren't stuck searching for a specific one
I would want that too! My approach right now is making multiple paths, so there's still some variety when progressing
decently made. I liked the part where there were multiple paths you could take depending on your ability the most
I'm glad you like it. I agree that multiple path really makes this idea shine. I did not expect level design would take this much effort. Otherwise I would make the level a lot longer.
