I literally just said "One more simple, silly little game before I go to bed"

It is now 2 am and I have just played an absolute masterpiece, but now I'll hate myself in the morning

...You know what? It was worth it.

This game understood me more than I understand myself.

As a hopeless romantic such as myself, this reinvigorated my self-confidence and helped me appreciate who I am and my identity choices in general.

Also, I would die for Robin. Fight me.

GREAT concept, GREAT art, GREAT music. Game's addicting and I practically had to pry myself away from it. My only complaint is that the grapple die is janky and the momentum you get is almost useless, as you need to be pretty far from it to actually get anywhere. But otherwise, very well done!

As a classic coolmath games player, I'm a sucker for physics platformers. And this one delivers! Gameplay's solid, sound design's great, and the game is just downright pretty. Game's really fun, would play if I had more time. Very solid work!

Looks great, sound design's pretty good. Gameplay's a little stale, but there's something there. I just don't really understand what the dice does?

Kick is hot garbage while spellcaster is broken. I hate that it's random whether I have fun with the game or not. Outside of all that, some sound woulda done this game a huge favor. I like the concept, at least, of the random skills and restrictions.

Could not get anything to move. I don't understand. Best I got was 2 greens stuck in one corner.

I'm goated

three 6's in a row

The visuals are pretty good, game's pretty fun. I don't have much else to say. Good job!

Sound design is small but great. The puzzles were addicting; I wish I had more time to play! Genuinely has kept me for a while. Good job!

I want to start by saying that I am a strict critic, so I can get rather cherrypicky, and I can be harsh, and for that I apologize.

First, what you did right. The art's pretty competent, player doesn't feel terrible to control.

However, coins have collision for whatever reason, level design feels lazy and slapped together,  the timer doesn't work, and I didn't even know what the dice did till I read the comments.

Don't take this as a bad review... rather, take it as a checklist of areas to improve. Game jams are hard and the time restraint is brutal. Try to lower your scope more until you have more experience.

Sorry for leaving a long-ass review, I appreciate your work, and have a good day.

It was creative. However, it kinda just feels like you just click button that has biggest projected outcome. There's no real strategy or puzzle to it, it just feels like rolling dice till you get a desired result. However where the gameplay faltered, I will say that the art is really good. There's some obvious talent behind the pixel art and the vibe of each dice type was very easily communicated. It's a very nice-looking game! The music wasn't anything extraordinary, but I didn't mind it.

This ain't that bad! As you say in the notes, this is imbalanced and not very... complete. But I see some great potential here! I saw no reason to not just spend all of my points in one wave, so maybe that's a good place to start? Good job!

Use the shop.

This was very helpful, and a select few points were very informative even OUTSIDE platformer design. Thanks again, Mark!
