A good imagining of the theme! The short gameplay loop really makes me just want to have one more go, every single time!

Simple game that knew what it wanted to be. A couple bugs however,  Nice visuals and music.

Nice and simple take on the theme! There were a lot of reoccurring moments were you could just do nothing for a good solid while, you just had to press the space key when your dice got stuck, and I don't know if I found that too enjoyable. There's a lot that you can do to spice things up, like adding extra actions/modifiers or even less linear terrain that heads downwards. Overall, good game!

Lord, I had an okay time playing your game. It felt a bit repetitive. I think having some other obstacles or things to jump over in the level would have helped keep it fresh. I also think more mechanics to help push the die further along would be great as well. I liked the music a lot I think it was fitting. I also enjoyed the plum purple color palette and orange but the UI was squashed in some areas. The dice texture rolling in the beginning also looked squashed. Great job Jammin!

Thanks for the comment and all this feedback, good to know, gonna try to add a bit of variation to the game!

Simple and fun submission! I would have liked to see more visual elements and maybe more obstacles or something to collect as a secondary objective, but I had fun! Great effort!

Fun game, strangely addicting! I think this would make for a nice mobile game! Chill and beautiful, great job!

A very solid game! Good visuals, nice music, simple concept that takes a bit of practice to learn to get to a higher score. Though I guess with the bug I found score really depends on your patience, haha. Overall a really good job!

Thanks for coming to my stream! Here's a recording in case you'd like to refer to it

Developer

Thanks for playing the game and also for putting the vod in here!

Nice, cute graphics. I dig the color scheme. I loved this kind of games in the early 2000s. If you decide to develop this further, I suggest getting the jump/speed loop where it is enjoyable for every number you get, and then giving player an additional boost of a different kind (better jump, better acceleration, time slowdown...) depending on what number they roll. This way, you can feel handicapped if you roll bad.  Nice job getting this done in 48 hours!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback, that was kinda the vibe we were aiming for. Also thanks for the ideas, gonna try to work on that and improve it and hopefully after the jam we then have a working version of the game without any bugs and with some nice player feedback. (Also mobile version coming soon ;) )

Developer

Hey, could you give examples of games with graphics similar as ours, so that I can get reference and refine the art style ? :))))

Submitted(+1)

I didn't mean graphics, more of the feel to the game (yeti sports games, early Line Riders...).

This game was very fun! Loved the art style and the music that accompanied it. The mechanic of having your speed be determined by a dice at the start was very creative. However, I did find a bug that made the character fall through the map by spamming the space bar.

Overall, great game!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback, the bug will be fixed after the jam, quite a few people already told me about it, but good to know that spamming did also do something

Developer

Wish we had time to add the animations I made for him, the game would've felt a little more alive. Thanks for the comment :)

Music and art was great. Going fast was a lot of fun, but I wish there was more to the game.

Solid overall!

I have enjoyed the game. The fact that you did the audio and settings shows your attention to detail. I would like more explanation for what benefits there are from differend dice rolls. There could also be more feedback on the jump.

Developer

Will work on that, thanks for the feedback!

Simple, fun and nice graphics. What more could you ask for? Just wish the dice animation at the start was a little bit quicker.

Developer(+1)

Will work on that, thanks for the feedback!
