My keyboard when playing this game: wdsawdsawdsawdsawdsawdsawdsawdsawdsawdsawdsawdsawdsawdsa

Another game where I had to switch to Chrome.  On the version of Firefox I have, some of the graphics just completely failed to display, meaning the chain was invisible (and the sun just seemed to be moving around mostly randomly) and I was fighting a black square on a black background.

Now that I've played it with graphics, I spent most of the time just focusing on making the sun go where I wanted and ignored the bullets (since you don't actually lose if you get hit), and if I'd actually tried dodging the bullets as well it might have been too difficult for me.  Also you can easilybeat all the levels except the third just by going up and down over and over again as long as you don't move left or right at all.  Interesting idea, though.

Fantastic. I'd say I ended up keeping the sun attached most of the time. Great work team!

Once I got the sun spinning in a circle I was pretty much unstoppable! I really like the drama that you were able to create in such a short time, really good job!

As some people have mentioned below, I can see the inspiration from Touhou! I really like the Touhou games, so I was happy to play this. I think you chose nice patterns for this game jam! I like that the sun/moon remove the same type of bullets. For improvements, I'd say to make a small dot to show where the player hitbox is - it can be tricky to know for sure in a bullet hell game otherwise. I really liked it!

Great addictive/engaging game

The visuals and idea for this are super great and refreshing to see. I enjoyed how the physics of throwing the moon worked because it allowed for some smart plays.

Pretty fun and original, awesome game! I really liked the idea of controlling the momentum to hit enemies, it feels pretty satisfying. If you find ways to variate the mechanic you could make it into a full release.

About things I think might be improved: To start spinning the ball I had to take too much damage since it takes a while. If I keep hitting the dead enemy after he disappears the next stage does't start (it only happened in the final boss. Also, I was able to use the moon horizontally in a never ending loop that killed the boss without me doing anything, since it was hitting him from left to right, it was really hard to do it twice, but it's possible.

Congrats on the game, I hope you try new things with the mechanic since it's pretty satisfying.

This basically sums up how I feel, too. I had less of an issue getting it started spinning, but unless I could get the released ball into a horizontal path, it was far harder to usefully destroy shots compared to the attached ball.
Very neat concept, however, Touhou + a flail.

The graphics are really cool, and it's the first boss battler I encountered. However, the fact that you cannnot die makes the gameplay dull because you can just stay in place and swing your sun

This was incredible! The music and art were amazing!! I love the idea of having a multi-purposed weapon attached to you and the physics of it felt good as well! Cool combat system and easy to understand controls with really polished gameplay! Really great game!

Really cool mechanics! The first of its kind I've seen!

I really like the mechanics behind this game! They really fit the theme very well! Having the two different forms of attack block different projectiles really forces you to think on your toes while you're trying to dodge all of the projectiles. Impressive submission considering all the art and music were all done during the 48 hours. Great game!

The amount that was done for this game in just 48 hours is super impressive, I loved the little cutscene at the start and the design of the gods. It matched the theme perfectly and was so fun to play! The transition between levels was a little jarring and the deaths didn't seem to affect much but beyond that, I thought it was great!

The art is absolutely fantastic!

I really loved this one! the art and especially the character art was obviously amazing, but I realy liked the mechanics as well. A lot of shoot-em-up games feel a little static to play because you'll typically spend the whole game making as few movements as possible in the bottom corner so that you can dodge bullets easier, but the mechanics in this one make it so that you're required to constantly be moving to maintain momentum on the ball, which adds a whole layer of depth to the game. I also really like how the projectiles can be affected differently by the ball depending on their color, it really spiced things up and made the bosses feel different. There are a few bugs during the scene transitions and it could probably use an ending screen when you beat it but I don't care, I love this game. Awesome job, one of my favorites of the jam so far!

The presentation is great. It was much harder to use the moon since if you lost momentum with it, the bosses never really give you a break to build the momentum up to fling the sun again so the moon would just disconnect and reconnect right away. Otherwise great job

Cool Game! Didn't figure out, how to properly use the moon without losing momentum on the sun.
I really love the presentation though! Good Job!

Absolutely loved the character design, and the artwork. The concept was also really cool to combine old school fighter planes with ball throw mechanic. Would be lovely if the chain can be swung around with mouse instead of wasd, would be lighter on the wrist :D :D. Good luck! I am sure will see this game in GMTK video.

Interestingly, I had not yet seen a bullethell without a player shooting.
