Thanks for taking the time to download and share something!

I was kinda hoping more people would share, but I think downloading something and asking people to make and share a level... After they've already spent 48 hours making and sharing their own game... Is a pretty big ask :)

Fun level by the way!

I loved everything about this, from the way you intro the movement to the end screen to the style/animations. I've seen a similar mechanic in a couple games for this jam and I think it's really compelling for something bigger (for those who are a fan of frustrating games)... but this is the best execution of this mechanic I've seen and probably my favorite game of the jam so far. Excellent work

If you plan to explore this further, I would be curious what would happen to the gameplay if you allow the player to move the camera independently from moving the level, I kept finding myself having to drag it back in view... not sure, it may make things too easy

Brilliant. Super clever and great execution

Really fun. I actually thought the fact that the zombies ate each-other was pretty funny and makes sure you need to strategize a bit more.

It's quite challenging until you get a strategy down, but some cool potential here.

Enjoyed it, great job

Great stuff. I liked the idea for the shopkeeper one the most.
I think if the fishing one reeled the people into the sea instead of just making them explode I would have liked that one a bit more.

Really creative meta theme interpretation

Fun mechanic and actually kind of enjoyed the sound effects. Everything was pretty clean, good stuff

I think it was that I didn't realize at first that the card needed to be placed directly on the road (I thought it went to the tile), so I was pulling a card out and trying to place it, but it was snapping back into the deck. I think a subtle highlight of where you can place it when you are holding the card could make it easier

Great idea and the execution of some of some of the elements genuinely caught me by surprise. Pulling titles and thumbnails with links? Combining them into a little video in the end? Brilliant.

Absolutely loved it. The animations are great and the fact that the skiers actively try to avoid you works really well.

One weird thing I noticed on the game over screen, it showed a "*" instead of a number a couple times. I didn't really care though, was having too much fun.

Great work team! Really well executed and fun.
The cards can be a bit fiddly in terms of picking and placing at times, but once you get used to it they aren't too bad.
Loved the fact that the levels are randomly generated.
The effort you put into this really shows, good luck on the ratings!

Is that from the web version? Unfortunately the WebGL doesn't allow for copy/paste by default, I tried finding a workaround but didn't have time to implement.

Hopefully the download version should work? (fingers crossed)

As simple as this game is, I legitimately loved the game mechanic. Crazy challenging in the best way.
I mean sure, I want more polish and that... but as a proof of concept this has a lot of potential. Would be really curious to see how far this mechanic could be pushed with more time. Future rage game hit?

Fun idea and cool way of doing the visuals.
I think my suggestion would be to record multiple alternate takes for "That is the wrong answer" because at least for me, I heard it a lot - would be nice if it didn't sound so repetitive

I also quite liked the way the movement was handled, like you are luring the fish away, but still felt natural.
Nice well executed game

Great job, makes for some pretty fun puzzles.

I think the restart from the beginning should be an option in the UI (unless I missed it?), respawn with backspace as it is now is a little tricky because it sometimes locks the ability to place new blocks - but other than that I really enjoyed it

It's too bad the game isn't working properly, the idea, art, music are all great. Hope you can finish it up after the jam!

+1 for wanting an animation for the skill :)

Nicely done team, the sprites are great and enjoyed the gameplay. Wish the cooldown on the attack could be just a little faster, but the way it is now adds an element of strategy about which one to focus on

Pretty clever, and those jumps - they must have rocket boots or something

I think the only thing I'd call out is the time delay on the score update, you'd collect something then have to wait for the number to update before you find out what to collect - It may be interesting to have a little slider or meter that you try to keep in the center, it may make it a bit more clear

Good job overall

Pretty fun, I liked the driving game the most - I think that one could be pretty fun if you add another lane and restrict the barriers to be within the road (rather than just dragging them off to the side of the road)

For the level selection, it may be better if the person was a little farther to the right - I wasn't sure at first what was triggering the selection until I noticed the person

Good job finishing on time!
Took a few minutes to figure out how things work, but I like the idea of reverse tower defense.
I've never investigated Construct, it looks interesting.

The controls and clarity of gameplay could use a bit more guidance for the player - I wasn't sure what I was or where the goal was at first. I'd say a bit more time on the visuals can go a long way to help with clarity. I also wish the music loop wasn't so short :)
After you get the hang of the controls, the gameplay is actually pretty compelling.

I really really liked this on a conceptual level - the visuals and audio fit the feeling perfectly. I kept wanting to move the windows around by dragging the top of the window with left mouse, I've been trained to do that my whole life :)

I'll have to return to this one to finish it, seems like there may be some practice needed

Really well done mini games for the most part, a couple of them took a while to figure out what was going on and could have made the mouse graphic bigger (got lost in the background). At a certain point it felt a little less like "collaborating" and more like being bossed around haha. I rather liked the humor.

Really impressive overall, great job!

What a great little puzzle game - were all the models and animations done during the jam? If so, that's quite impressive.

Only minor critique is that sometimes the dragging is a little unresponsive.

To go against some of the critiques here, I actually think it was quite refreshing not having any music and only having minimal but well executed sound effects like you have here - based on some of the ones I've rated, sometimes overdoing the audio can really detract from the experience.

Fantastic work

Great job on everything! I think the gameplay is simple and clear enough to not need as many tutorial text boxes in the beginning, but that's just personal preference. I like the idea that the AI associates the item as colors, really clever

Funny sound effects

Yeah, I agree, it was originally going to be split view but it made everything small so I switched to an overlay last minute - would be interesting to explore that more

Thanks - I wish I could've spent all 4 days on this, unfortunately only had Saturday and Sunday

The graphics and sound are great. Didn't know what was going on at first, just kept clicking around to figure things out. Then I played the tutorial and realized there was a whole additional layer of gameplay I was missing with the input parameters. Got more fun after that haha. I do wish that the parameters didn't reset if you reject something. The level of polish is impressive though for a weekend, I'll go check out Hive

I have the most powerful toaster! COME AT ME!

I had way too much fun with this, got to a point where I just decided to end it ~1900

I don't know why tower defense games weren't an obvious theme for this jam for me, but it fits perfect and this was a really creative take on it

Great job!

Oh yeah, one thing is the window size - for embedding in a web page, 1920x1080 may be a bit big for some - but it worked for me :)

Great work, the shield drones to cover the fire felt a little fiddly in the beginning to place it right, but got the hang of it. Pretty fun!

Nah, you're totally right, it needs more physics tuning and quicker steering

boom

Totally agree on the audio and the guess and check issue, the path preview is a great idea

Wow... was able to kill the AI 3 different ways

The tech in this game is really impressive. Everything about it is super well put together.

I kept trying to find ways to cheese the game rather than solving the puzzles as intended, but that in itself was pretty fun.

Awesome

The presentation, from the art to the sounds to the animations are all really well executed. I saw in the comments that it's mostly premade, but even still, the way everything is put together compositionally and how it all just seems to fit is done quite well.

I think most of my critiques have already been said. It's tricky to click the little robot running around (I'm on my laptop right now and the trackpad doesn't really help :) so I won't fault that too much), but the game might lose something without that element and get too easy. It's a little short, for me the time limit could have probably been 2x. Got 130, but I might try again.

Great work

Fun game, took a few tries to get to the end... but the blue car exploded right when I made it - it still displayed the win screen though, so I'm counting it!

The controls took some getting used to, reminded me of some old dos games, but wasn't too bad after a while, I think it might be a little better with precise shot direction control using the mouse (like gungeon or similar) considering it seemed like your shots do a lot more damage to the blue car than the zombies do. That's an interesting balance decision, but I feel there's some philosophy behind it.

Took a bit to realize how to restart - since the gameplay only used the keyboard (and both hands), using the mouse felt a little out of place for any type of interaction. Could use a game over screen when the blue car explodes also.

I think the biggest thing is that the car doesn't really head to a destination, it just kinda meanders through the city for a bit until you reach the end of the map (or maybe it's time based?), so I didn't really get a sense of where I was heading or why. Not saying it needs a deep backstory or anything, just the sense that the player is making progress :)

Little things aside, this is great work for such short time!

That was a fun little game, I liked the feather duster level. The graphics kinda reminded me of the old web games I used to play many years ago and the mechanics worked really well.

At first, I wasn't really a fan of the turntable view, but it actually worked quite well for this type of game.

In sandbox mode, for some reason when it showed I made nothing I couldn't get out of that screen and had to restart, but that's a minor thing since it wasn't really a part of the main gameplay.

Of course it could do with some more challenging levels, but I rather enjoyed it considering the short time. Great work!

Great art and animation. The game mechanic took a little getting used to but was quite fun. I kind of wish there was a way to show the reference shapes image in game somehow because it limits the possible starting tiles and knowing that seems to be key to playing the game effectively... but maybe that would make it too easy.

That was fun, though I'll admit I ignored some of the mechanic and just tried to cut off the path of the opponent as quickly as possible so the actual values of the dice didn't really come into play (almost turned into that one fall guys level where there are several platforms that disappear after you jump on them). I think making it feel a bit more turn based would restrict the strategy to be more purposeful and make for a pretty solid game. Great job!

That production value!

Most of my feedback is the same as others, so I'll point out something random. The typographic design and font choice might be better if you chose something closer to the numbers and letters on the table. That would give a more cohesive feel to the stuff happening on the UI layer to what is happening in the game.

Great job, the fact that you did this in just 2 days is amazing
