It's really cute and the way TOAST destroyed all the enemies is so satisfying lol. Wish there were more ways for the cat to avoid taking damage.

I like the mechanics of the game, That you don't exactly shoot but rather place down something that shoots for you. The art is not very coherent but i still like it.

fun game, i like the silly artstyle, but the screen rotating with explosions is actually kind of painful to look at, also at some point you can just sit in the middle of the screen with the toaster and do nothing without dying
Ahh yeah noted on the balancing bit and the screenshake. I should probably have toned it down a little with the rotation. Thanks for the feedback!! :D

I had way too much fun with this, got to a point where I just decided to end it ~1900
I don't know why tower defense games weren't an obvious theme for this jam for me, but it fits perfect and this was a really creative take on it

Oh yeah, one thing is the window size - for embedding in a web page, 1920x1080 may be a bit big for some - but it worked for me :)

I think there was a bug at one point that caused my death (got pushed by an "invisible thing" and lost my lives quickly because of that). But that's just a minor thing - I LOVE IT!

Cat toaster with exploding rainbow toast. I don't know any other games that can be summed up like that.
I initially wanted to make it something like marmite toast but the color was a bit uhh.. funky so I just chose rainbow instead :x Glad you liked it!!

The game is fun to play. The, graphics are good but the sounds are better. I like the cute artstyle of the characters and enemies. I like how you added some small extra details (like the screen shake animations). The game is simple to understand.
However, you should make so that you can't just stand near the toaster and do nothing when you get so many upgrades. If i go into fullscreen, there are blue bars on the side of the game.

Great game! Loved all the little deatails, like the cat having 9 lives. Took me a little time to understand how to upgrade my toaster though, and I quickly felt overwhelmed because of it. My second run was fire though, good job!
