Great job. Rolling and getting a new weapon is nice especially if it is the railgun or grenade launcher. The main menu is also epic where you can shoot the glasses and other stuff. Well Done!!!! :D

Wow, great game! I played a fin twin stick shooters in the jam and always had issues with the controls, but here using the mouse to move + shoot feels great. It’s random, but you have just a little bit of extra control over your fate that feels great. Congratulations!

Had an absolute blast blasting poker chips and cards!

Great use of theme, great tie-ins, and everything is related to something casino-esque!

I love the animations, and even the controls! The game gets a lot easier once you start memorizing what faces you want to land on depending on how many enemies there are (usually 5-grenades and 6-laser are the best).

I also love the knockback you get from using any of the weapons so that you are randomized again, and you can either chance it, or try to finesse it to a number you want/need.

Its great that the relative power of the weapons are stronger the higher the number of pips!

I also love all the feedback and the juice of the game, but honestly, pump that up to eleven! I want to see bigger explosions and more screen shake! gimmie gimmie

Overall, beautiful submission!

(P.S. Could use a boss 😉)

I don't know how you've managed to pull that off in 48 hours, i love all about it. Crazy good job!

Hope you enjoyed the jam!

That production value!

Most of my feedback is the same as others, so I'll point out something random. The typographic design and font choice might be better if you chose something closer to the numbers and letters on the table. That would give a more cohesive feel to the stuff happening on the UI layer to what is happening in the game.

Great job, the fact that you did this in just 2 days is amazing

I really loved that game! A lot of submissions tried to do the "roll for a gun" thing, but the way you implemented it is clearly over the top! The weapons are fun, graphics are good, the fact that firing will force you to roll is so smart. Really great game all over!

ayyyyo this game slaps , dman it's one of the jam games that I enjoyed the most, really unique way to interpret the theme, love that card walking animation , did you made those by yourself ? , one suggestion is  the gun equip time is too high , and when enemies gang up on you in corner then it bugs out I think , because it was not equipping any weapon, that could be fixed. but I had playing it, please develop this further into a full game.

Very cool and creative idea! Sometimes you get a bit stunlocked, but its still really cool and fun! Very good design and execution! Good job!

This game was quite literally a Blast! Fun and simple core gameplay loop and it nailed the "Just one more go" vibe. The available weapons were great too, only note I have is having some way out if your surrounded like a high jump

10/10 gameplay, sounds, visuals, everything great. Didn't really found use for melee weapon, but still really cool!

I loved this game! Everything looked great, the sound effects were nice and they never got annoying, I liked that you could customize the health colors, The enemies kept you on your toes, all of the weapons were unique and fun to use, and I loved that you could shoot stuff in the menu!

My only complaints are:

1, If you get caught up against the wall, you get pushed around too much for the game to give you a gun, so you are just trapped.

2, It was a little hard when you are chased to shoot quickly because of the delay between landing and getting your gun. If that delay was shorter, that would fix the problem.

Great job! 5 stars for each catagory!

Looks very well polished. Fun take on the dice roll, I love that the guns come out of the dice. It's easy to play, but not too easy that you never get caught. Would love a highscore system for a game like this.

That's something I would like to play sometime, to shoot something with random guns. Would be better if enemies could be dice, but.. well, you can't always get what you want +)
Nice game!

This game feels very polished! I really liked the dice physics and the variety in the weapons. Getting caught is a bit tough though, especially with the pull being a bit slow at first. But overall I had a lot of fun playing your game! Great work!

Physics of the dice movement feel great. Variety of the weapons is awesome. They all feel great and unique and I had fun using all of them no matter what I rolled.

Nice top-down casino action game!

What I liked?

- Each weapon feeling was cool, especially the laser one

- The dice mechanic at the center of the gameplay was really nice! Even when the enemies were hitting me, it could change my weapon.

Other comments:

- I found that sometimes the dice movement mechanic didn't work well, I felt that the dice didn't want to go in the direction that I pointed out (not moving).

Overall great work!

Great game overall, I like the mood this game sets with its visuals. The UI fits really well and the game feels content rich with the dice deciding what item you get! Goodjob

I only lose because 4 is useless and so the game is 4/5

Developer(+1)

It is also the only way the dice can heal.

This is great! Was so cool to see someone do the same kind of take as we did on ours. Similar idea and yet feels so different. The polish and feel of this is fantastic.
