Had a lot of fun with this one, it did take me a moment to understand that the dice had to match, but once I understood fully how the game works I was engaged.

Love the look of the game and it sounds nice.

Overall, great job on your entry!

One of the best jam games for sure! The art style and mechanics were simply awesome, and they conveyed the game's ideas very well. I also think the reroll mechanic was a great game balancer as far as money went; it made strategizing for each round a lot of fun. Truly an awesome game!

Thank you so much!

I like a lot the tower defense genre. I don't recall playing any one that had the mechanic of changing the unity your tower hits every level, and being able to ht only one at a time. Very creative!

Developer

Thank you so much! Glad to hear you enjoyed

recomode use other game engine for genre like this(255MB).

good luck with your Game Studio and your youtube channel.

Developer

This was really fun!! And such a complete package for a jam game. At first I tought it was too easy (in the easy stage dãã hehe) but then in the other stages it was frantic fun, and challenging. To be nitpicking I would just maybe add a faster way to re-roll the tower dices, to not have to click on the small menu.

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much, yeah the easy stage might be a bit to easy but I'm glad to hear you had fun! Thank you for your feedback

Oh I forgot to mention, but the music really deserves some praise too. I just loved the soundtrack!!

I like the twist on regular tower defense game. What a smart idea. Art is nice, one of the reasons I wanted to play it. Unfortunately can't say nothing about music because I forgot my headphones, sorry :/ Gameplay feels too slow for me, I would appreciate some speed up button. Otherwise I like it, good job!

Developer

Thank you very much for your feedback! Yes sadly we haven't implemented a speed up button but I recommend trying the map desert, its the hardest map there is. Thank you so much for your review :)

The game was a fun change of pace. I hope to see more of this in the future! Well done!

Although I found the game a bit too slow, which dampened my enjoyment a little, this game still has some potential. Tower defense with some luck? Count me in ^^ 2/3/4

Stay crunchy.

Developer(+1)

Thank you for your feedback, We recommend trying some harder maps but yeah we wanted to make enemies faster depending on the round

I find it very refreshing that the dice number of the towers tells you which enemies they can hit rather than how much damage they do. I had trouble understanding that at first though. I also think that the sniper tower is far too strong, it can basically defeat all enemies with one hit, has a massive range and a decent fire rate. I would have wished for any disadvantage with this tower. For example, reducing the fire rate, would also make sense for a sniper tower. Other than that, i think you did a great job with this tower defense game. Always nice to see this genre in any jam.

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much for your detailed feedback, Yes sadly the sniper tower is unbalanced

Really simple but effective tower defense. I would have loved a "double speed" button, or a bigger shop selection, but in the end it was a good game being made in 48h! Nice job

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much! Those are amazing ideas for this game especially the double speed one, thank you

Love the idea, menus and animations. Most of my feedback has already been said:

  • Speed up functionality, to remove downtime.
  • The ability to move the camera, because there are some placements which only barely show the move tower button.

One more feedback would be tower descriptions. When hovering over a tower, before the move/reroll/sell buttons are present, a short description of the tower would have helped.

Regardless, well made!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for your feedback, And amazing ideas, sadly we weren't able to fix the tower buttons.

Heyy, another tower defense game. Fun to see how you implemented tower defense as well with this theme! One feature I'd love to see is a time speedup, since it gets a bit boring sometimes in later rounds if you already have a ton of towers set up. Other than that, you did a great job. Very fun game, I spent quite a bit of time with it.

I'd love to hear your take on my game as well, since we had a similar approach to this jam. Please let me know what you think!

Submitted(+1)

While the concept is very simple, the implementation of the Theme works quite well.

The Towers are interessting and look amazing,  despite the Rather simple look.

Sound design is nice too.

However, playing the easiest difficulty got a bit boring, a way to speed spawns up would be cool. The Highest difficulty is a lot more fun however.

What you could ve changed would be allowing the Player to move the Camera, at least tilt it to look straight down. In the desert map as an example, far up are the good tower spots, but trying to build behind large towers like the Boster becomes a bit inconvinient.

Obviuosly the game becomes a bit boring after a while, since you soon reach a deathbox through which no enemy can pass, but tbh i dont have too many ideas how to fix this. What i would ve tried is making towers even rarer (by decreasing the money gained on kill) so the players have to Move towers around and cant lean back.

Concluding: 7/10

Thank you so much for your highly detailed feedback, We will for sure take this into account if we remaster/update the game.
