Great presentation, definitely a vibe.
Game is too stressful for me though 😅
I noped out when the game started to want me to do math
Like others have said the kill associations at the top are confusing.
I think the controls are a bit finicky as well, being able to right click to immediately discard a card would go a long way rather than clicking it and then having to press the delete button.
Oh and I think the "X" button to close the game being in the top left is a strange design choice since it's unintuitive coming from windows, but also since it's the same button to close the options menu's and such. I definitely almost immediately closed the game when I first opened it.

Anyway, it was interesting and thanks for making it

I like this style with the stage.

This was a very cool concept! The art and music are some of the best I've seen in the jam. The mechanics are also good, though it took me a little while to understand the ribbon rules at the top. Still, great variety and design. Well done!

Great game ! The ribbon thing was a bit confusing at first but as soon as I understood it the game was really fun. The soundtrack is a really nice addition as well. Well done :)

A very polished jam game, simple concept but fun to play. I love the stylised look, and how uniform it is across gameplay and menus. It's well paced as well, a good amount of challenge for a jam game. Great job!

Very nice game, I loved the poker-like aesthetic the game gives and the effort put in to give that aesthetic, and the music fit really well.

My main complaint is that some of the levels are too RNG-dependent, so you can easily get screwed over by bad luck, especially in Level 2 and 4, because at any point in the game there are cards that cannot kill any dice and so are just trash cards sitting in your hand until the rule switches, unlike Levels 1 and 3 where each card can kill off one colour.

One other suggestion is to give a bit of lead-up time to a rule-change, so you don't shoot the moment the rule changes and miss because of that. A short countdown timer, maybe 3 seconds, should do the trick.

Still, I enjoyed it. Great job!

Hi escapadegames, thank you so much for checking out my game and leaving such an insightful review. I agree with your suggestions, I actually had time to truly test the levels only after submitting sadly 😢, and I noticed what you pointed out too about the unfair RNG. I'm still glad you were able to have fun and try out all the levels 😁.

Honestly, the gameplay and overall setup is a bit confusing for me.

I mean having to place cards on top of ballerina and then getting 3 arrows, 2 of which are used for shooting and 1 for taking back the card doesn't make a lot of sense.

Also, shooting cards sometimes missed the dice even though they were the same color, and it hit dice of a different color. I guess that could be also random or should I say a roll of a dice, but it's not random in a good way, it's just frustrating, at least for me.

Although, I like the presentation aspect of it, sound effects and music. Concept seems like it has potential, it just wasn't very intuitive for me.

Hi Alienplay,  thank you for checking out my game and leaving some feedback. If shooting cards sometimes missed the dice is because the rules changes over time in each level and you can see the current rule in the upper ribbon of each level. I agree with you in fact that it's not that intuitive, sadly I ran out of time to make a proper introduction to the mechanics and just was able to put all the rules in a list.

I like the style. First level was easy but on next I stopped thinking haha

LOL 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I'm dead 🤣🤣🤣

Very clever mechanic, I really liked it.

Initially it was very confusing though since I didn't quite get how the ribbon worked. My first assumption was that the colors on the left side applied to the left field, and the right side to the right field.

So that could perhaps be a bit more visually clear, to show the association.

maybe having :

x kills y

z kills w

instead of :

x,z kills y,w

But great job, was very fun.

Hi Ricardium, thanks for checking out my game ^D^ ! Your comment is a great suggestion. The ribbon rule format was something I had to rush and didn't have time to polish, I just wanted it to occupy the least space possible, but in fact I'm considering in the future to do something like what you suggest. Thanks for your insightful and detailed feedback.

I love visuals.Good job!

by the way could you play and rate my game?

The presentation was excellent and I thought the concept was really cool!

Hi joshpinto6, thank you :)

Nice game! I like the sound effects, and the high resolution images give it a good feel.

I think it might be more interesting if instead of per-level, the rules were randomly shuffled while you're playing, so the player has to stay on their toes and keep thinking about which cards to play.

Thanks for checking out my game and commenting Antidissmist :D I can see your suggestion as a great idea for a game mode, thank you so much!

Wow, this game has me on my toes the wholetime. Things get really chaotic in the last two levels, especially when the card I really need doesn't show up until the last second (or not at all). In the number kills number level, I don't think it makes sense to have cards of values greater than 6, but maybe that's part of the fun. Really fun game, love the aesthetic!

Developer

Hi QCortex07, thanks for checking out my game. I'm happy to hear your experience with it. PD: In the last level you may need some high-valued cards on some rules hehehe.

I like the art-style, it's very unique. The game feels very polished and it's overall pretty fun, good job!

Plays smooth, looks and sounds nice! I was struggling in the beginning with the concept, but figured out and had fun playing! Thanks :)

Hi p1g30n, thank you for playing my game, I'm happy you could figure it out and had fun. I'm looking forward to check out your game too.

sometimes the card doesn’t destroy the opponent

Developer

hehe this is because the rules of the game changes over time, you have to pay attention to the rule ribbon of the board.

Looks and sounds good. The controls could use some love but otherwise great.
And a bigger hand would be good because somehow I never had the right cards.

Developer

Thanks my friend for your checking out my game! I'm happy to hear you tried it. I actually had planned to make keyboard controls an option but due to time constraint couldn't add the feature.

Visuals and musics are easily one of the best ones so far for me. Engaging and fast-paced gameplay kept me on edge from start to finish. Such an immersive experience, I love it!

Developer

Thank you friend for checking out my game, I'm really happy to hear you were able to get inmersed on the gameplay. :D

The art in this game is really impressive, good work.

I think the ribbon need a bit of rework to make it more intuitive on what color or suit is needed to kill what color dice (they are too disconnected from each other) or i just need to get better XD. The game really step up in difficulty every level, i like it, games shouldn't be too easy ^^

Developer

Thank you Denaton, I appreciate your feedback!!
