Hello!

We're a team of 3 people and we're working on 2D roguelike project for more than a year.

We're looking a for developer who can join a project to speed up a development process, as we have a lot of tasks, but only one developer :(

Ping me, I'll be happy to tell you more about the project and share a demo. My discord: p1g30n#6610

Hello!

We are looking for a Unity developer to join a project called SOG. It's a 2D pixel roguelike game set in Vietnam War. The project is ready for early demo release, but it lacks of music and sound (currently working on it!).

After early demo release, we will fill game with more content and new game mechanics, so we're looking for a developer to help with that.

Hello!

We are looking for a sound designer/composer to join a project called SOG. It's a 2D pixel roguelike game set in Vietnam War. The project is ready for early demo release, but it lacks of music and sound.

We want to have a 16bit like sound, something that sounds like Loop Hero. The music itself should be a mix of classic american rock of 60th and national vientameese motives.

We'll provide game build and some music/sound references.

Thanks for playing and your feedback! We'll continue working on the game and will add more tactical aspects to it :)

The game for sure needs balance changes and we are working on it :) Thanks for playing!

Specific dice numbers have specific abilities and you can see if ability is active via boiling kettle and purple pictogram next to it.

Also some enemies have resistance to different dice colors. You can notice that when dices bounce of them.

In general, we will improve all of that, as currently these things are not clear enough. Thanks for playing and your feedback!

Thanks for valuable feedback!

Most probably you faced a bug when some enemy leaves the arena and the game gets stuck. There are no wave restrictions.

For a game jam we wanted to have high score only, due to lack of time. But we are planning to add progression aspect to the game.

We agree that some abilities not that obvious as we wanted them to be. Basically fireball grows from 1 to the dice max value and throws automatically. And of course it's hard to track abilities on the indicator due to intense game loop. Already working on the solution :)

Thanks for playing, glad you had fun!

Thanks for playing! We are glad you enjoyed it :)

Sorry about the ogre, we will punish him and make sure that noone escape from the arena :)

Stealth makes you invincible to any attacks and you can go through the enemies.

Thanks for playing!

Thank you!

I really like the core mechanics you've came up with! Was a little struggling at first, but had a lot of fun as I got used to controls :) Great work!

Neon style graphics are so nice, I'm impressed you managed to do it during 48h! Everything plays so smoothly and fits so well in the game. Animations and particles are done really well. It reminded me of Hotline Miami :D Had a lot of fun playing it, thank you and great job!

I really love the visuals and the vibes! I like the idea of creating your own dice and that you can combine different actions. Tutorial is very nice and clear, and everything plays very smoothly :) I think there is needed button to skip rolls, as it takes a lot of time, but nothing happens. Also I felt lack of interaction, but honestly can't think of something that would fit into the current setup. Overall, I really like the experience and had fun playing it! Great work :)

Plays really smooth, visuals and music very appealing :) I like the core idea and how randomly can levels be. Had fun looking for a crystals, well done!

Beautiful game, gorgeous visuals! Love the puzzles and how smoothly you introduce new mechanics. Insanely good!

I didn't understand why I couldn't attack, but then I got the game name :D Very cool mechanic as well as variety of actions and bosses. I love it :)

Love the art style, everything looks really polished! I would love to see more diversity in the game, like different enemies, arenas, weapons etc. The randomness part feels really natural, like it a lot. Had a lot of fun playing, would love to see future updates, great work! :)

Addictive game with really cool design! Had a lot of fun playing it :) Would love to see it on mobile. Great work!

The game is super addictive! Really like the core mechanic. Would be cool to improve visuals, add cool backgrounds and etc, as well as add mobile version. Simple yet addictive, great work!

Interesting concept, great visuals and music! I would add more interaction with the game, as currently there is not really much to do. But in general, play smooth and well, good job :)

The pixel art is very atmospheric, I really like the vibes! It's really cool, have you go higher and higher to see what and who is waiting for you up there. Great job :)

I love city builders without overwhelming amount of mechanics and this game is exactly what is needed! I see huge potential in this game, especially if you improve visuals. I would love to see more detailed tiles + some action on them (like pedestrians and cars). Besides that skip level button would be great addition as in the beginning I was getting required score way faster than place on the map was ending. Anyways, great work, would love to see updates! :)

We're already thinking about the solution for the right menu, as it's the biggest problem currently :( Thanks for the playing and for your feedback!

Completely agree that it's hard to track things and we already thinking of the solution :) Thanks for playing and your feedback!

The Z and X part. I would prefer to move character with WASD and choose dices with arrows or something else on the right part of the keyboard. Current layout breaks my mind xD

Maybe 2 layouts in the start of the game to choose from would solve the issue.

Nice concept, but hard to make it through :(

Finally I've found a game that somewhat looks like ours! I like the upgrading concept and different dices as enemies. Well done :)

Simple yet addictive concept! Makes my brain stress trying to find right side of the dice, while timer is ticking out. Dice movement feels smooth, but camera feels wonky, I would make it more static. Good job in general :)

Plays smooth, looks and sounds nice! I was struggling in the beginning with the concept, but figured out and had fun playing! Thanks :)

Can't disagree with the others, I'm impressed with the amount of things in the game. Visuals are great, very good job!

Liked the idea, had fun throwing dices into the enemies. Controls feels very weird and it was uncomfortable for me :(

Really like the idea! Feels really smooth, pleasing visuals and sounds.

I feel that more enemy types, arenas and dice possibilities should be added. The potential is very high! Would love to see more :)

I love the art style and sound effects. Puzzles are interesting to solve. I think the game would be perfect for mobile. I think menu between levels don't fit the game. It has everything it should, but it's just don't fit visually.

Fun and simple! Reminds Hotline Miami :) I would put camera a little higher to see more and maybe small tutorial/command list would be perfect. Good job :)

Core mechanics is very fun! At first was struggling, but figured it out :)

I like core mechanics, interesting idea, cool that it's possible to choose different weapons with different effects. Would love to see more levels :)

Feels really smooth and plays fun! I would like to have more controls on dice roll result. Sometimes I was stuck because I couldn't get the right number :(

Simple yet interesting to play. Timer adds challenge as well as uncontrolled dice throws. I liked the animation of dice roll at first, but after some time it gets annoying :( I think animation could be speed up and make dice smaller. Nice work :)

Meditative and simple, would be great for mobile :)

Visuals are really good and really like dice physics. Would be cool if there would be more interaction that just choosing a tile to place. Maybe some battle mechanics or puzzles to solve. Would love to see what you will come up with :)

For anyone struggling with the controls: go to game page, there is instructions.
