How does your game fit the theme?
I feel like the connection to the theme is pretty strong. You play as a sentient die who rolls to move around, and the damage you do is a roll of the dice.

A bit easy but still really fun, well done!
Thank you for the feedback! I'm going to make it a little harder after the Jam. Thanks for playing!
I've seen plenty of dice throwing games but I like your strategic approach to it and the fact that attack and movement are one mechanic. I liked how you can hit multiple enemies if you aim correctly, that allows for some strategy.
Initially I thought it was an arena survival game but I saw the castle and got the idea. So yeah, making the goal a bit more clear would help.
The graphics is nice, and I think tweaking the lighting and some visual effects can improve the look further.
Good job!
Thank you for the feedback!
The turn-based mechanic of the game wasn't originally part of the plan, but it turned out well.
I plan on adding a small story cutscene in the beginning of the game after the Jam ends. I also agree that I need to redo the lighting. I baked before building it, but the shadows disappeared for some reason! I also want to add some extra visual effects.
Thank you for playing my game!
I love the design of the featured die, it's super fun. I had some trouble getting on the platform inside the castle, maybe because of how the collisions are. The fact that it's turn-based gives it a certain strategic component, which is appreciated in the face of very similar games. Perhaps I would make everything a little faster so that it has a good rhythm. But other than that, it's a fun game!
Thanks for the feedback. I agree that the collisions need to be improved and the turns need to be sped up. I will fix that after the Jam. Thank you for playing!
Interesting game! Though I wasn't exactly sure where I was supposed to go at the beginning which led to a bit of boredom, it was still a fun little game!
Thanks for playing my game! I agree that I should have had a tutorial or a short cutscene describing the goal of the game. I plan to add that after the jam. Thank you!
Really cool concept and execution. The graphics were also very nice. Great game!
Thank you! I think my Dad did a good job on the art!
This is such an interesting take on the theme, and the dice cam was a nice touch in order to know the damage dealt! The character art was super innovative too!
Thank you! I appreciate it!
I loved visuals and gameplay. Good job!
by the way could you play and rate my game?
Thank you for playing my game! I will make sure to play your game soon.
I am waiting :)
I did it!
Hi fellow "sentient die" game maker :) I took me a little while to understand the main goal was to go right and avoid the enemies, which at this point were not very challenging, but overall it works well, and I really like the D&D themed environment!
Congratulations :)
Thank you! I didn't have a lot of time to balance the enemies before submission time, but I plan on making them a little smarter and more threatening after the Jam. I also should have put a little tutorial in the beginning, so I'll also do that after the jam. Thanks for playing!
The combat is fun. I like trying to bounce off multiple enemies at once. I wish the enemies were a little more threatening though.
Yeah, I wanted to spend more time balancing the enemies, but we just didn't have time. After the Jam I will be doing some bug fixing and balancing, and I will make the enemies smarter and more threatening then. Thank you so much for playing!
Development only got a little stressful at the end of the Jam, but overall it was a fun experience! Thanks for playing! I've actually already played your game, I just didn't have time to leave a comment until today.
Love the environment and Dice cam.
Thank you! We wanted to do something unique, so we decided to have the level on a messy table, and we needed a way for the player to see how much damage they would do, so my Dad came up with the Damage Cam™.
Really nice look and game!My only problem is that at first I didnt get that I need to move to the right to find the dice girlfriend. Had to look at the official game page to get that.
Yeah, we wanted to let people explore and not rush them to the end of the game, but if we had more time we would have put a tutorial/story cutscene in the beginning. We temporarily had some shouts for help coming from the right side of the screen, but it quickly got annoying, so we took it out. Thank you so much for playing!
I wasn't expecting for that!! I loved the nostalgic environment of a tabletop RPG, this get me a little emotional during the game hahaha the music helps in this sensation a lot too. Great game, i definitely could play more levels.
I would love to make more levels, but we just didn't have enough time. I'm glad we were able to make a pretty unique game! Thank you so much for downloading our game!
A great take on classic tabletop game theme!
What I liked?
- The fight and movement with a D20 is fun, moreover it is satisfying to hit an opponent with the Dice
- The Damage Cam is a great idea, it is a good way to show the roll number & I found it quite smooth
- The art made by your Dad is really good!
Other comments:
- A little Roll SFX while moving would have be nice to have
- Imprecise land, sometimes my dice hit an element of the scenery, but the indicator of the throw didn't show that the dice would hit it. I think by increasing the size of the indicator, it will reflect better the size of the dice for better precision.
Overall nice game!
Thank you! I really appreciate you downloading my game! I agree that there should have been more sound effects in general, and that the landing and the roll line was a little finicky.
Really liked the presentation and the gameplay of it. I didn't understood how damage where made to my target if it was from impact or the result of the dice when it stop. Very fun game !
The damage is decided after you stop rolling, but it is only applied to anyone that you hit during the roll. Thanks for playing!
Love the presentation with the books and pencils lying on the playing field. Best strategy seems to avoid all enemies and rush right to the end, but that's fine. I found it enjoyable. :)
Yeah, we didn't have much time to balance the enemies. I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for downloading my game!
Love the props on the table and general visuals!
Thanks!
very unique concept and lots of fun to play! i must say, the princess is quite beautiful ;) awesome job!
Careful not to look at her for too long, you'll fall in love! :-D
Wow!
The idea for this game is so great! And very easy to understand. I give you top marks in all categories because this was a lot of fun to play and incredibly interesting.
The fact that it takes place on a table for DnD is perfect. xD
Also, shoutouts to Sam.
Thank you! I really appreciate it!
