Great Game, the art, the sounds and the level design is very good. The theme implementation is very interesting too. What could be better implemented are the wall Jumps and the meele weapon, but these are very hard to get right sometimes. if you develop the game after the jam you could add a small timer to the meele weapon and wall jump, so you cant just fly with the meele weapon, or jump on one wall with wall jumping (but i have to admit these are sometimes fun too). but the game is still very good. Nice job

Wow, your game suprised me in the postiive way. The visuals are stunning, the idea is original and the movement and attacks feel very responsive. I would give the dash some kind of cooldown after 3 uses or something as you can easily dash forever. But that's not important in the jam version. The music is nice too. Great job!

I liked the game alot. i don't think i have much complaints, but i did find an exploit where i just spam the slash attack to basically fly and while doing so it charges my second attack, that i use to absolutely slaughter my enemies. But that just made me have more fun :D

Really great game! Awesome mechanics, making sure that one attack isn't objectively better than the other (unless you spam one attack down when you're safe which makes the other much better). The game works best when speeding through the levels (imo), so having something that encourages fast playstyles would be nice, although this is just a game jam. There already is so much and I'm asking for more lol. Really good job!

Oh dear, this game is amazing I love your pixel art and the style of making every plattform in black. Also the controlsfeel really responseble (especially the wallrunnig and dash) and I like the mix of two attacks (in which the dash is by the way my favorite in all plattformers). I think the boss should have had the same pixelsize as the rest of the worl, but maybe you were just running out of time.

Also: I was really impressed with the shockwave effect, because I tried to make one myself a few weeks ago and failed. How did you do that? Shader Graph? A Shader applied on the cam? Please tell me how to make this effect, I would really appreciate that!

Although the game is awesome, I think the dash attack should have a bit more impact. The first few minutes I was playing the game I thought t didn't make any damage. Also the walking particles should be square, so that they match the pixel art.

Appart from that: cool game! I had a lot of fun!

Hey, the game is great! As others have points out, the game visual is good, the wall climb felt great and slash dashing is fun.

It could use some improvement though. Sometimes its hard to tell if my attack connect with the enemy. Show enemy feedback, make them flash a bit or scream when the attack hits. Also, a bit of flashing when the player get hit would be nice.

When i was busy slashing at the enemies i dont realize the attack is dropping until i was dead.  The power indicator is at the top right on the screen, far from the middle of the screen where the action happens so i dont see it most of the time.

When i shoot the enemy, they got knocked back a bit. If i happens to knock them out from the platform, they will continue to walk in the air. A small error, but it didnt muddle the experience because how great the game is.

Really well done. It looks great and controls great. I do think that the damage of melee vs lighting should only change when you actually hit an enemy. I found out pretty quickly  that spamming melee a bit would let me easily kill enemies with lighting spam and never have to actually risk getting in close. Won't hold balance against you in a jam though. Great job.

That mechanic and gameplay really good, only problem in my mind is after I melee attack and stay too close to enemy and get damage especially when enemy is near the wall...

This game was amazing! The art and music as well as the sounds were on point! The dash and the losing damage or gaining damage on certain abilities was really cool! I did however find the first boss to easy and the second boss a little annoying, i also wish i had an extra second after using my melee attack to get away from an enemy. This was really cool and i loved it!

Nice! this was fun. The attacks were cool. Some stuff I think could improve it is making the enemies fly in the opposite direction you are slashing from because a lot of time I would slash and they would immediately hit me after I came out of it. Also, I kept dashing in the wrong direction because my mouse was opposite my facing direction. Maybe make the character always face the cursor so you know which direction you will dash. (this might result in a running backwards animation where you are moving the direction opposite your cursor).

I love that dash mechanic! It felt fantastic. I saw you mention it was your first game jam game so I commend you for staying in a manageable scope and polishing it to the level you did for a week project.

Awesome! The visuals and the sound design and music were excellent - the movement felt good (although walljump spamming could be improved), the dashing effect was just so... tasty! I found a pretty serious glitch that I would sometimes not damage enemies I'd attack with the melee strike.
It could be that I was just dealing too little damage to kill them, but getting a bit more visual/audio feedback when the melee hit connects would benefit your game - so it would be clear when you hit them or not. Normally I'd go on about all the things that you could improve, but your entry is just really solid. Very good job!

i really liked the game, that dash movement is very well made, maybe i'm a noob, but i found the sword very hard to use, i had to aim  into the enemy sprites in a very precise way in order to hit them, i used the bolt more than the slash attack, really cool controls, and the wall jump feels great. again, really fun game, i would like to see  how a more speedrun oriented  gameplay merges with this game

Really good game, the visuals don't look as good, but the combat... PERFECT. You found the way of combat when you just don't spam one button over and over. It feels really good to fight and move, thanks to the amazing animations. Great game.
