A great concept with some really nice graphics. The last puzzle was a bit hard and I guess the basic concept would get old fast in a longer game, but if you can come up with a cool idea like this I am sure there is more where that came from!

Really well done!

Really awesome concept, its really original too. The art is just as great, well done!

Great concept ! Adding / Substracting controls on the fly was cool !

Perfect, I would definitely play more levels for this game. Jam winner for me.

Fantastic! The concept is clever and implemented in a fun way. Just the right level of complexity and difficulty. Lovely art, and the bg music choice/implementation is pleasant, effective, and unobtrusive. Great work - I love this one!

Best game I've played from this Jam! Super creative. Nice short level that explores the core mechanic without overstaying its welcome. And the presentation; top-notch! Lots of great juice in this one. 5/5 in all categories.

My top pick so far by a wide margin.

5 star game all around seriously this is the perfect execution and beautiful graphics. I saw this played on stream and the person playing it made it look way harder haha. I played it myself and it just clicked I had fun figuring out the different puzzles. I am guessing some people did things differently , which is what I like about this design b/c while their are optimal solutions, people might choose something different.

This is such a great concept and the execution is brilliant. The art, design and audio all work together to make a solid platformer. All done in 48 hours! Good job.

Well polished game, conveyed the mechanic and theme clearly.

Great great great game! Love the presentation and concept. The last part was really hard and I nearly gave up but I somehow managed to get through. If I could see that the end goal was right there, I would be more motivated :p

I loved this! Its just a great plat former with a great mechanic! maybe make the platforms align to a grid tho cuz it iz a little finicky fitting them in tight spaces.

Thank you for testing the game ! I currently have 2 options:

  • allowing the controls to clip through the terrain
  • align the controls to the grid

Both are interesting, but they don’t have the same implications in the design of the game… what do you think :) ? (for now I just went with the first one, it was just 1 click to change)

ooo alowing them to clip is an interesting idea! I think that actually might be better than a grid and would allow you to even make the space bar shorter by clipping through a wall. Depends on what restrictions you want i guess!

Great art style! This was definitely one of the better ones that took the theme literally. Using your keys as platforms and losing control with that particular key is very nice.

Saw it on a stream and really wanted to play it ! it would be nice to swap the controls from the arrow keys to A and D though, because switching between the mouse and the keyboard all the time is a bit annoying. Great game nonetheless ! :)

Developer (1 edit)

Thanks a lot, it’s specified quickly in the game’s tutorial (but not very visible I guess), you can use either !

Jump: Space / Up arrow Move: A and D / Left and Right arrows

(Controls category of the game’s description)

Oh okay ! My bad, just a great game then :)

Really great! I loved it. I don't know if you knew this already or not, but in godot you can check for the platform the game is running on to do stuff like hide the quit button on browser.
