here is my game plan for this project.
My self introduction is long overdue after being a member of this platform since 2020! 🙇♀️
To put it simply: I’m a singer & artist. I create custom VRoid models, song covers, graphics, etc.
Ya girl has been gaming ever since I was a kid growing up on the internet, though PC is my primary medium for multiple reasons.
Nowadays, I also spend a LOT of time running multiple online communities alongside my indie VTuber activities.
Fun fact: I’m specifically trying to release more of my newer P2U products around here & Ko-Fi this year.
My name is Nate Wallace and I am a composer, producer, and instrumentalist with a specialty in video game music. Online I'm also called Alpha Wolf Music, Chef Alpha, and even Music Man by some.
My goal is to be able to create music as a full time career. I have a strong interest in writing music for video games and I've written for a few already. My most significant experience came from Roblox working on a game called Pokemon Brick Bronze. I got this gig the summer before I started college and I had a lot to learn at this point. I'm very happy with how far I've come as a composer and I'm eager to find more work in a wide variety of genres.
I have many interest outside of music such as video games (duh right?), American football, cooking, and reading. I'm quite the extrovert IRL, but I've struggled to bring that same energy online. That's why I've recently made stronger efforts to connect with people on Discord, Bluesky, and now here on Itch. I'm particularly interested in connecting with other indie devs for 2 reasons. The first one is that it'll likely lead me to more composition work. But the second one is that I truly want to be able to support these smaller developers and spread the word on their games.
I do music production streams on Twitch every week, and I've expressed the desire to expand my stream topics. One thing I'm VERY interested in doing is gaming, but specifically Indie games. I won't go too deep into that at the risk of making this intro way longer than it needs to be. With that said, I think I'll leave it here. It excites me that there seems to be a strong community here on Itch, seeing as this thread is 9+ years old and people are still posting on it. Hopefully I get to work with many of the devs here, or at the very least play your games.
I appreciate anyone who took the time to read this and I wish nothing but the best for every creator!
Hi Everyone, here's my little story.
For nearly 20 years, I worked as a software programmer, building systems, solving problems, and honing my craft. I'm a gamer just like all of you. I am also a self-taught graphic artist. For so long, I have enjoyed games from behind the gamepad. But deep down, I always carried a dream to create video games. Life, however, has a way of pulling us in different directions, and that passion sat quietly on the backburner.
Everything changed last September when I lost my job due to health issues. Shortly after, I received a diagnosis that turned my world upside down: lymphocytic leukemia, a type of cancer. Battling cancer and facing an uncertain future was daunting, but it also gave me time to reflect on what truly mattered to me. I decided to embark on this journey to be a gamedev. If not now, when?
In december, while undergoing treatments, I found a spark of hope in an unexpected place: the AI revolution. Advances in technology were making game development tools, assets, and resources—such as art and music—more accessible than ever. Making games alone once seemed an insurmountable task, it now felt within reach. I know that AI is not popular in some gamedev communities. But as small gamedevs, it gives us an edge against big AAA studios. So I advocate the open use of AI: if you use it, tell the public how you used it and let them decide if they want your game or not.
Rotem, my first game, was born. It is a relatively simple tile puzzle game for Casual gamer and puzzle enthusiasts. It has 3 types of puzzles with different different difficulty settings. It's development phase is done. I am making an official launch on Steam, Epic Games Store and Itch.io on march 1st. I am pretty excited about it. I have slowly started my next project, a deckbuilder RPG based on tarot cards. This will be much more for the hardcore gamer.
I hope to continue growing as a game developer. I’m fighting cancer, but I’m also fighting for my dream, and with the support of the gaming community, I hope this is only the beginning of something great.
After years of dreaming about creating games, I've finally taken the plunge into the world of novel visuals for adults.
As an artist who loves to explore the depths of human emotions and relationships through my illustrations, I couldn't be more excited to bring this passion to life in a new medium. 🌟✨
My journey into game development may be just beginning, but I'm committed to creating engaging stories that will captivate your imagination and leave you wanting more.
I look forward to sharing my progress with you and hearing your thoughts along the way. Here's to many more adventures together! 💖

Hi guys!
My name is Addison, I'm a 36 year old working food service full-time salaried, and recently found a deep interest in game designing in the RPG genre and just looking for my right path at the moment. I've never had a good imagination or haven't been good at art or anything like that, but, I'm definitely willing to try and learn now and hopefully someday, I can start making a portfolio and build upon that and see what happens from there!
I've never used itch.io for the 5 something years I've had this account, but that's going to change now since I've bought a couple bundles from mostly ELV Games.
I'm dedicated and I might be lost in what I'm doing but I'll get there soon! I do have a couple of RPG Makers I haven't used in forever and might have to buy some new latest RPG Makers, or try for Godot. I will make my 2D Dragon Fantasy RPG game come true someday. I have a really big love for Dragons.
If you'd like to help out a newbie like me, just chat about designing and share tips along the way, etc. with me, while watching me grow on this journey, give me a shout!
Hi! I'm Brigadeiro, I'm a beginner dev makes games in Construct. I could consider myself creative, since I generally try to make my games as creative as possible, I always grab a cliché concept and turn it upside-down into something completely new.
You can probably recognize my games from a mile away, they all have a similar MS Paint-ish hand-drawn artstyle with colored outlines. I make games of the most varied types, one day, I'm making a cloud-watching Where's Waldo game, the other, I'm making a quiz game with multiple endings and dialogue.
I really enjoy participating in game jams, it's barely been two months and I've been to four different jams, all these jam games are sort of my higher-effort games, since they will be ones people will see the most, but also because their unique concepts make me wanna make them be INCREDIBLE! I mostly do everything on my games, art, music, concepts, gameplay. Sometimes, a friend helps me in coding, but it's not always.
Recently, I've been working on a life simulator sandbox called Bols, where you have a bunch of silly little guys that eat, drink, mate, sleep, sneeze, hunt, hide, fly, and die. Here's the link if y'all wanna play: https://nightfoxy25-animations.itch.io/bols
Hello everyone! I'm a sophomore game developer who has poured my heart into creating a first-person 3D adventure game with psychological horror elements using Unreal Engine. This project is a labor of love that blends exploration, puzzle-solving, and immersive storytelling into one unique experience. Attached below are some screenshots from the game - I would be truly grateful if you could take a moment to check them out and support an aspiring creator's journey. Every bit of encouragement helps fuel my passion for game development!MY GMAE called "To find her" in steam
Hi! Motion Cache is a small aspiring team. We are focusing on all things related to motion(animation). We want Motion Cache to be our outlet for all things related to animation. We create animated assets for social media, animated emotes, bizarre animated shorts, and now we are working on learning to make video games. Currently we create animated emotes for twitch and discord on Etsy. We also have released an animated short called The Toe. But we'd really love to dive deep into game dev. This medium is amazing for storytelling and that is our true passion.
My day job is motion design in the advertising world. Our other team member is a graphic designer in advertising as well. But we are trying to break free from that world and get back to our roots and remember why we pursued animation and design in the first place. For us, that reason is to share stories that might resonate with others.
I am the animator, and aspiring developer. We've been documenting our journey learning game development and exploring this amazing medium. We have a heavy interest in narrative-driven games that balance story with great gameplay. If you are interested in our journey you can find our social media links on our page or find us @MotionCache on YT, Instagram, and X.
The video above focuses on where I started and how I ended up trying to learn game development. It touches on some personal moments in my life to help you to get to know me. For future videos it will be less serious and more fun. We'd love to hear what you think and if you have any advice. New video will be out next month.
Hey everyone, I'm Brian, a long-time tabletop gamer who has recently gotten into writing games. Love lots of especially wild west, weird west, historical period, grimdark fantasy, horror, and dystopian stuff. Recently published a wild west one-shot called The Reckoning here on itch. I'm also a print maker and do a lot of block print art.
I don't have any social media except Substack, but I do publish lots of free articles, actual play write-ups, oracles, and game design ideas on there. Check it out if you're interested! Thanks!

Hi, I'm the LowKeyDev and for anyone reading this, I make games with UPBGE. A bit older, but it works.
I've developed a 3D reboot of the arcade classic Pong, as well as a game of my own devising that I call Splat. Imagine Smash Bros but both players are goombas.
Anyone interested in a subscribe plug on my project page feel free to record and post a video of one of these games.
Hi, I'm the Tajammal Maqbool and for anyone reading this, I develop games with JavaScript, Phaser3 and Unity. I made many games and have 4+ years of experience in it. If you are interested in website games then you can look at my profile and website:

Hello, my name is monicor is 23tovarm, and I have for the past three months began learning Python and SQL coding for work, which spiraled into a crack at video game designing with my favorite topic: ECONOMICS and GRAPHS. Just recently posted my dev log of my passion project in the works, and I'm just so happy to have discovered this platform!
Hi Itch.io I'm Not Drago, im currently making easy to use discord bot templates that work out of the box and can be easily added on to and edited. I'm completely new to itch and am hoping to find great connections and people who like my work and benefit from it. I hope everyone's having a fantastic day.
I’m RetroCoder and I’m an indie game developer.
I create my games in pure JavaScript without any game engines. I take part in the GMTK Game Jam every year which is a great challenge for me. I will be taking part in the Gamedevjs Jam this year which is all JavaScript based, so right up my alley.
I post updates on Instagram with my games and any jams I take part in. I am beginning to work on a large game project which will take a long time to complete but I will be posting more about that nearer the time.
Please check out my games and feel free to leave any feedback as that would be appreciated!
Hello, welcome to Itch, the best place to get notice when you finish your game for me is Release announcement: https://itch.io/board/10022/release-announcements
devlogs are also helpful!
Hi! I’m Cedar, or Critter, and I’m only just starting with video game development, mostly via game jams. I love sci-fi, fantasy, and interesting worldbuilding — especially anything that considers nonhuman cultures and/or unusual creatures. I also enjoy TTRPGs and random tables. Feel free to reply to show me things you’ve made!
Hello folks! I've been here for a while, but I never introduced myself properly. Why not give it a try now?
My name is Doksa, and I'm primarily a writer, but I dabble in programming and game design as well! I make story-based games, mainly visual novels and interactive fiction. I'm working on like five projects at a time (I really need more sleep), however my main right now is an unpublished otome visual novel called Bounty or Booty for the Otome Jam 2025! It's a silly little game where you date pirates! Have a picture of the love interests as drawn by the artist (tomotoad) and edited by me:
I'm down to be mutuals if anyone wants to follow! Mwah!
Hi! I'm Tenkarider, i joined a bunch of time ago but never really used itch so far...
In the latest years i developed several games and horror audiogames released on Steam, mainly as Game Designer, but also as programmer and other minor roles like sound design, etc.
I'm planning to bring some of those games on itch.io as well, i hope to gather some feedback about them when the time will come, so stay tuned!
Hello!
i'm melo and i just made this account
i love music and i make songs.. i also play piano and guitar and im aiming to go to music college as an opera singer :3
all this music thing basically started from the undertale soundtrack.. i became so obsessed that i searched on google how the music was made and this youtube video showed up where someone recreated some of the songs. that's when i started making my own songs, first videogame music and now i make normal instrumental music, different genres from classical to electronic
one of my dreams is hearing my songs in a game, so that's why i made this account. im not really after money, this is just something i'd love to do. playing a game while i hear my songs is rewarding enough :)
that's it i guess, take care everyone!
oh ok :) I am caius and i really want to be a game dev. And soon my first game called cook it dont burn it is realeasing on may 1st. Its about the player getting a job at a restaurant at a place called yum!. But there is a dark secret in it. Also there is a secret google drive you can find in game. And it has as matpat said multiple times LOOOORRRREEE. Heres the link to it https://caius27.itch.io/cook-it-dont-burn-it-demo

I'm AideedGameZ. I made game and I also the creator of GGProz, which I'm planning to make a game production. Well, not official tho. I love develop a game, especially I have experience a quite in Unity3D and Blender3D, yet I'm still learning. This is the game that I am proudly would like to introduce to you guys, https://aideedgamez.itch.io/ikan-bakar-seafood-cafe
Try it out, no download needed. If you have any idea, let it out. I'm open to improve
Hi Aideed,
I have tried your game seafood cafe and saw your channel. My take on 3D games is to import from 3D asset stores to have a more polished look. Otherwise I can guess you've built the whole small town yourself in Unity and Blender. Right now, the interaction is mostly in the cafe. I would add interaction in the town too, it seem like a chill place. Just my own 2 cents.
BTW, your Tsunami simulator seem fun.
Wastelads, Hoverbike and Plasma Shotgun - incremental scrolling shooter I’m working on

I’m indie hobby solo developer. I’ve long wanted to try making a quick game with rich backgrounds and character outlines. And this is the game I got.

Hey all — I'm Nathan, and I recently launched a small studio/brand called AI Vibe Forge where I explore "vibe coding" — basically building fast, in flow, with AI assistance.
My first public project is a Stock Market Simulator — I built the initial playable demo in just 2 days using Godot 4.4 and a bit of AI-powered momentum. The demo’s up now on Itch if you want to try it: 🔗 Play the Demo Here
Outside of game dev, I’m into writing, design, and tools that help creators break through the “stuck” feeling. Vibe coding is kind of my way to blend all that.
Looking forward to checking out some of your projects too!
Hi, I'm Karel! From Czechia.
I do QA-Quality assurance testing for living.
My biggest hobby is making videogames and I'm currently working on Balladrion, a rogue-lite RPG with a light narrative focus.
I've been developing the game solo in my spare time for the past 6 months—and there's still at least another 6 (or more!) to go.
Your feedback and support mean a lot as the world of Balladrion continues to grow. https://marionettecz.itch.io/balladrion or https://store.steampowered.com/app/3756740/Balladrion/

Hey there! I've been here for a while, but I haven't had a chance to say hello yet. I'm Marek, I'm a composer and sound designer from Warsaw, Poland. My favorite game genre is RTS, so I'd love to talk to anyone who has something interesting to say about it :)
Check out my music and sound design here.
Hi everyone ! My name's Yoga from Indonesia. I'm a UX Specialist (Designer/Researcher/Copywriter) by trade; however by passion I'm an English -> Indonesian translator for 2 decades, and a game localizer for just above a year.
I've been a silent lurker here for a while ever since the hype of indie gaming is growing rapidly, and with that same passion in gaming, I’m trying to start a new EN-ID localization business focused on helping indie games reach a massive Indonesian gaming audience—and I’m currently offering indie game developers free localization for up to 1,500 words of in-game text (dialogue, UI, menus, etc.). and/or any marketing/promotion material for indie games.
My major public portfolio is the entire Counter-Strike 2 game in Indonesian, or you can click here for a direct sample
But why am I doing this, you ask? I’m just getting started and want to build real case studies—not just theory. But most importantly, I care about this just as much as you all here care for your games.
So whether you're still building the game or finished your first build, I'm open to any and all exciting collaborations! DM me or comment below with your game link or a short blurb. Or I'm also down to have a chat!
Let’s all create something hebat ('awesome' in Indonesian)!
Yours truly,,
Yoga
My name's Sondre Drakensson, and I'm mostly an orchestral composer and student of piano.
I recently became an indie game developer, and I'm currently wrapping up two games, with one of them being Modern Theory
which you can read about in a recent post of mine.
Unfortunately I'm very clueless about self-marketing as an indiedev, and spreading awareness of one's work without coming across as begging or nagging.
That's where some of you might hopefully be of assistance with. You can read the post about Modern Theory or ask me about the two projects we're doing,
and if the info fancies you, you're more than welcome to follow my profile and trying out our builds and demos.
I'll gladly answer some of those questions right here, if you have any.
Enjoy your summer day

Hey everyone! I'm Els from Hawaii, aka WaveCoder. Because two of my biggest passions are surfing and game development.
I got into Unity and Blender back in 2021, but things really clicked about three years ago when I started pouring serious time into learning the craft. Since then, I’ve been building a tactical RPG called The Uprising, learning everything from scratch along the way.
I’ve just released a demo to get feedback, sharpen the blade, and keep leveling up as a solo dev. It's been a long road already—but hey, the dream is to finish this thing before the decade's over, right? ;)
If you get a chance to check out the demo, I’d love to hear your thoughts: The Uprising (Demo) by WaveCoder
Thanks! :)
