Fun game! Looks really good! Might just be me but some UI got cut off at the edge of the screen. Highscore was 1002 :D

Developer

Thanks for playing zerofaction, Yup it's not only you, I put wrong width/height for itch's WebGL view ^^'

Great score! mine is a little more than 1000 too :)

Really fun game! I liked the art, but could have done with some sound effects!

Submitted (1 edit) (+1)

The art is nice, but there is no challenge. You don't have to exponentially increase the speed, but at least have less obstacles in the beginning and then slowly increase the amount. Perhaps also add in different configs (other than obstacles in a vertical line). Some music and sfx's would also be great.

Developer

The game actually increases its speed a little every second so that it becomes harder by the time, but not suddenly... you feel it clearly at around score of 800 or so.

About the other additions, I had no enough time to work on the game unfortunately, only 4 hours.

Thanks for playing :)

Fun game! Your art style reminds me of BlackThornProd. Are you inspired by him? Anyways looks great! And while the gameplay is very straightforward, it is also a lot of fun even though some raising difficulty would be cool the higher your score becomes. :D

Developer(+1)

Thanks for your positive feedback DoorHallGames!!

Yup, Noa was always a big inspiration source of mine :)

Thanks again for playing :)

Ah I did not notice that lol. :D Very nice inclusion. =)

Yeah, BlackThornProd is a great developer and his tutorial vids have helped me a lot during my 6 months of learning game dev. :P

I got a score of 1082 ^^

The art in this looks really cool :) The style reminds me a bit of Blackthornprod's games which is a good thing ;)

The rhythm of the challenge felt just right to the point where it's challenging and stimulating but not overly hard to execute.

Some sound would be nice for sure to make it feel better ^^

Love the art.

Awesome! I love the style and visuals :o Great game!!

I really love the visuals! It's too bad there was no sound, it would've added a lot to the scary mood which is already present from the visuals. I suppose the lack of menu fits the theme to some extent, but I guess since you said it was a prototype you were already working on props for creatively fitting it in haha!

Simple little game with awesome visuals. I love it! :)

Developer

Thanks Fedboi! I loved your game too :)

Awesome game!  I like the dark tones!

I wanted to write that I'd love to see some interactivity with the monster you are being chased by, but then I saw your android version video and the game really looks much better now. Good job. :)

Developer(+1)

That's just the beginning, there is much more in development ;)

Thanks a lot for you review :)

Nice works! I think the collision of the black-spiral-thingy need to be scaled down a bit, and you could add some screen shake when the player hit that black spiral.

Developer(+1)

Thanks!

The collisions are already smaller than the visuals, and screen shake and other effects are added in the android version of the game :)

Fun little game!  I like your parallax background and all the particles, very good job!  If you keep working on this game, add even more parallax layers, and even a foreground.   Endless runners look great with depth.  Great job submitting a game, plz check out mine if you can.

Developer

Thanks for you encouraging comment man!

Yup I'm planning on adding those to.

I already checked your game, great job :)

Hi, already saw that game, maybe it's made as some tutorial project?
Graphics is nice but i miss sounds.
Game loop need also a bit more work.

Developer

Hi, thanks for your review pixelook!

That's right, it turned out that a game dev youtuber has a similar game

Also, about the game loop, you can read the game's description to know more :)

A very polished little Endless Runner! Nice job!

Submitted(+1)

A simple game but one with good visuals and a decent amount of polish, nice job :) My high score was 910

Developer(+1)

Thanks a lot  sadzanenyama!

My high score as the developer of the game is a little more than 1000, and you are so close to that, great!  :)

It's blackthornprod's game...

Developer

It is just too similar and  wasn't meant, what to say, Noa was always a big inspiration source of mine ^ ^

Only after creating it, I felt that I saw a similar game somewhere turned out to be that haha

Thanks for review mokigames :)
