Loved it very much and felt very polished, only problem is the game feels very monotonous and when you lose it feels unfair but this is the type of game I least expected well done!

Very nice scanlines; looks like an old tv or computer monitor. The menu at that start was neatly done as well!

I seemed to be able to spend money building on an already occupied square, though.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback. When you build onto squares you've placed rooms on before, it removes the current room and replaces it with the new one. I guess, imagine that we tear out the old equipment and replace it with new ones. From that perspective, it doesn't make sense to tear down the external structure. It also makes the whole building process more streamlined, which was the real reason.

Great gameplay with interesting mechanics... really fun and engaging. The visuals and the sounds are really good.

Great job you did there

PS: if you have any time check on my game too.

Really cool art style.

Nice atmosphere, game looks very polished. Goal feels a bit unclear but its playable. Good Job making this game!

I really love the atmosphere, a very nice color scheme. Well done!

Cool game Name by the way.

I really enjoyed the theming / sound / presentation; the overall presentation of the gameplay mechanic was a bit dense to pick up without some real concentration; loved the idea of doing a resource balancing/allocation idea though.  Nice work!

Graphics and the code side are good. I'm sorry, but I totally don't see the challenge. I just place some colored squares if the bars go low.  In my opinion srolling menu is a great idea though.

I agree to Vels and Dwight Davis comments. But while I think the mechanics needs more work I respect the choice of game genre. Seems like you have a great vision and I hope you follow it through. Thanks for the game experience!

Cool little resource management game!

But I just ignored the white button and placed the colored ones in the walls of the bunker, and that worked...

Maybe some balancing needs to be done, I didn't really understand how I was supposed to be doing.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback. It is possible to only place the coloured rooms, but then you earn less money that you will need since the resource demands will increase exponentially. What do you mean with "placed the colored ones in the walls of the bunker"?

Submitted

I mean I took the colored blocks and placed them on the brown tiles surrounding the white room. As if I was surrounding the white room with colored blocks.

Submitted

Pretty difficult to understand, but  with a fair amount of work could become a better game!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback. Could you be more specific on what you found difficult to understand? That way I know what to change/improve.

Submitted

Well for me it wasn't so fun, I didn't understand what was going on but it wasn't bad. I expect you would stick to theme more.

Developer(+1)

I integrated the theme by having the buggy rooms (white ones) glitch away resources (green, blue, yellow). The challenge is finding a balance between the buggy rooms and the resource rooms since you need both to survive.

Ok I understand

I played this for quite a while. It takes a bit to understand what is happening. I'm still not fully sure I get it. BUT, I couldn't stop playing. Very good game. Highly addictive. Sure it needs a solid tutorial, some polish, but overall this is FUN!  Good Job!!

Great visuals with a fun concept!

I didn't see any threat though...

Keep up the great work!

Submitted

Seemed like a fun concept, but all my bars maxed out less than a minute in and didn't show any sign of declining. Maybe add some more aggressive threat to the game, like enemies.

Submitted

Interesting concept

Nice job for the jam. Add some enemies for the bugs, it would be fun :D

Developer

Thanks for the feedback. I do plan to have the resources be physical in the bunker and then have bugs occasionally attack, with the people in the bunker needing to defend the resources.

Amazing game. Music and graphic fit the theme perfectly. Concept is great and it would be cool to see game on mobile. Only thing i will add is some tutorial so player can get basic knowledge about concept.

Overall great experiance. 5/5

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback. There is a short explanation at the start (with the text in the bunker rooms). Perhaps you mean an interactive tutorial, I will add it to the list of things to fix.

The sound is amazing. I didn't understand the win conditions. It's interesting, I've got the green/yellow/blue resources, but didn't understand the white thingy. Is full white ground the win condition?

Developer

The white rooms represent the bugs. They give you money (to build the green/yellow/blue rooms), but they also cause glitches will suddenly decrease one of your resources. So, the bugs are a necessary evil. There is no win condition, but if you survive for more than five minutes then you've beaten me at my own game; which could count as winning.

I like the chill vibe / music

Submitted(+1)

It was good.
I like a lot this kind of games, all strategic and gestion. I had a rough time understanding really what was happening in the beginning, in spite of the tutorial, but when you get the hang of it, it goes pretty smoothly.
Design is on point, sound design too. Nothing to add, well done, take all my stars you deserve them !

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the kind words. I am planning on making it more clear what's going on, with people and bugs moving around in the bunker.
