only a robot could make it to the ending anyways

I do like robots

Love the style and atmosphere!

I like games where you play as a microbe. Sick game, cute style.

I had planned a popup that would let you change the music to an even shorter and more annoying loop that you couldn't undo but unfortunately ran out of time

plugin

MV3D is an unreal plugin I have no idea how anyone figured that out

How could I have been so easily distracted from solving your riddles

Hubert would be proud

the game played me

Wow, this game was quite NSFW. Very detailed animations, excellent work. I also had trouble locating one of the insertables, but other than that the progression is pretty straightforward.

The point and click visual aesthetics are very solid. Some lightly compressed sound effects / dialogue would complete that vibe. Overall great job.

I definitely respect the ambition. It seems like the scope of this project is pretty big, and you could probably make something more finished with more time. You've made an impressive amount of content already.

I'm a fan of the loading screen tips personally.

The controls were tricky to get used to, but as a Bennet Foddyist that makes me more invested personally. I really like those swallowing sounds too. gulp

Oh my god this is the best possible compliment I could have gotten on this. Thank you.

this was fun until my eye got caressed, then it became more than fun

this game made me go Wow boobies

Thanks, I appreciate the feedback, the first two were things I was aware of but came down to the time restraint and procrastinating on this. The 2nd one is something I've been hearing a lot so I'll be sure to make some kind of patch for that if I can.

It did take a while since I didn't notice the second key and I walked around for a while not figuring out where it was

Nice, I liked the atmosphere and sound design

Nice, I like the lighting and textures, they look really polished! I also have a soft spot for RPG maker games.

The battles are a little unbalanced but I like the textures a lot! I'd love to see where you go with this

I like the visual style, would have loved to see this fleshed out more!

Nice tense narrative, cool high effort visuals!

That was fun lmao not knowing what the skeleton would do added some tension.

Made me uncomfortable, which in this game jam is a good thing. I like the space ending too.

Ah, I got as far as the third paragraph. The website you used is probably a good hint though.

Well it's been a week and I'm kinda officially stumped. I guess I'm contractually obligated to sign over the rights to my game and The Chimp Developer Cinematic Universe per the Riddler's Code. Maybe I never deserved such an asset to begin with.

You got a cool idea going, impressive that you learned to make a 3D game just for this.

I knew at some point in my life I'd have to solve a series of riddles, but I didn't think it'd be this soon.

Genuinely impressive pixel art animations. I also appreciate just straight up pictures of drawings in a game, gives it a certain vibe lol

Yes, my number one complaint with my own  game is that there isn't enough soda collecting. It's far too brief.

(1 edit)

Fair criticism, will keep in mind. What you described  is pretty much what my big main project is right now (but more story driven and given a lot more context), and the abrupt ending to this was an epic last minute teaser for it. You see, this, as well as all my games are in the same massive Chimp Developer cinematic universe and MM SODA is an important puzzle piece to the canon.

I procrastinated on this game jam and needed a big cryptic deus ex machina for the soda level I made

The real question is, can you find all the secret messages the ambiance has encoded in wavelengths inaudible to the human ear?

Oh cool thanks! I haven't given this a fair playthrough yet, I'll rate it when I do later tonight

Did you make the music? 'Cause it's kinda hype lol

Nice game and card system, but the fact that just hitting the library constantly for a hand full of only mind cards wasn't a viable strat broke my immersion

hmmm

Impressive amount of polish into the art and animations. Also, any game that uses different text blips depending on the character automatically gets a five stars in sound from me.
