neat game! i couldn't really figure out what the point was besides collecting coins, but i like the open world/exploratory feel to it. the pacing with the timer felt a bit off (a lot of the game i felt like i was just waiting for it to count to 10 again) and personally was expecting it to count down rather than up (sorry for nit picking). jumps felt a lil buggy too, not sure if that was intentional. music and graphics were great though! overall good job on creating a captivating piece!

It doesn't look great and lacks goal other then that it is rly cool game but pls can you make tutorial don't disappear after a certain amount of time like press enter to play would be better

Developer

thank you i will do that.

I like the character!  I found it really easy to get the player avatar to lay his head on the edge of platforms like this and hang out.  I liked the music; the sound effects came in a little loud made me adjust my headphones a bit.  Nice job!

Developer

Thank you. He is actually a placeholder but I didn't have time to replace him. lol

Nice concept, I like that horror music :)

Good little platformer game. :) I think I have not played a game yet where it was important to keep track of the time or otherwise you'll get punished. I liked that mechanic! The only thing I would complain about is that you are stuck on the edge of the platforms. You used Unity right? If so there should be an easy fix for that: Create a new Physics Material in your Assets. Put its "Friction" and "Bounciness" to 0. Attach the Physics Material to the player collider where it says "Material". E voila your bug should be fixed. :=)

Thank you. I have ran into that a few times. I appreciate the feedback.

You are welcome. :D Keep working on it/keep creating!

Cool concept of glitchy clipping levels, and that you get stuck on some walls haha. Only, every room should always have an exit no matter what state you're in so that you don't arbitrarily lock your player down.

Very well accomplished! I really like it, it would only improve the audio a bit. Good job!

The platforming controls are decent, but the robot can stay pushed against the sides of platforms (should be no friction, so he falls down). Some of the sound effects are also really loud compared to the music, rip headphone users. The mechanic could be quite interesting, but the levels don't seem to utilize it. Maybe just start off simple with normal walls and then have the player needing to glitch through one of the red walls, then build on from there.

Developer

yeah I got sick and had to cut back on the polish and well the game but hey I had a good time

Nice game, keep it up, in the next jams you’ll probably get better, in my first jam I also didn’t do so well [My first jam was a disaster, but yours is 10 times better], but what matters is participating and learning more and more.

Developer

Thank you very much.

Good game, maybe too loud but it works!

Nice idea and smooth controls with an interesting glitch mechanic!  The sound is a bit loud haha, I had to take my headphones off instantly.  Great job submitting a game~ Please check out my browser game when you can

I like the core mechanic! I think there may be a resolution/display issue because I saw arrows pointing towards a score and timer in the corners, but no score or timer... maybe they were offscreen? I noticed something similar when I first uploaded my game; I had to adjust the settings on my itch.io page to match the resolution that I had set in Unity to fix it.

Developer (1 edit)

Thank you. I will try and fix that.  Also the art and tone for your game is fantastic!

Cool game. It's very simple but it is quite fun just to move around the level and collect some coins. Having walls with temporarily no clipping is really interesting. And I thought those things that give you and upwards boost were really cool.

Developer

Thanks much.

Nice interpretation of the theme, like the robot, isn't that a default asset? Have seen that one before ;-)

nice controlls

Developer(+1)

Thank you. yeah I threw him in there to get things moving. Got a bit sick and wasn't able to replace him in time for the jam deadline.

oh respect you finished that thing anyway. Hey, as long as it keeps you going!
