This was super fun, it's got power, mayhem, juice, everything. I was getting addicted to it, you should really keep working on this! Really well done, I think it hits all the marks. :)

A bit slow at the start, but when the enemies start coming, the complaints about the pace disappear.

Theme, gameplay, music, visual style - everything is at a high level.

Destruction of objects can be put as an example of "how to do it". Very simple mechanics and fantastic effect!

The only thing that I think should have been added to the jam is the display of the number of HP and missiles on the robot itself.

Super fun amassing my army of robots. Loved the destructibility of everything also. Great work!

Really enjoyed the destructibility — it’s such a perfect fit for the jam theme! The gameplay is fun and satisfying, and I like how the visual style is consistent throughout. The models look clean and fit the game nicely.

For the high score at the top, maybe it could be labeled more clearly as a record, and it might be cool if it only popped up when you’re close to beating it — would make it feel like more of an exciting moment.

I wasn’t completely sure what some of the bonuses do — probably because the UI in the bottom right is quite small in fullscreen (at least in the web version). Maybe showing them in a more visual way, like a little shield icon near armor, could make it clearer.

All in all, it’s a really fun game and a great take on the theme — I had a blast playing!

Thank you! I'm happy to hear that you enjoy the game.

There is indeed a lot of things that need polishing, the UI is very bare bone right now. Thank you for your feedback and suggestion! i will try to work on it once the jam is over.

Well rounded game! good job. nothing to comment really. Maybe a bit of variation could be nice in terms of fighting.

Awesome that you did all buildings destructible! And there is a bit of AI as well. so well done! my only feedback would be to preload particle effects and debris, as the game gets stuck for a second the first time these effects are loaded.

Developer

Thank you! I will look into preloading the particle effects. The Godot engine has always been a pain in that regard.

You did destructible environments for a 72 hour jam?! This was insane! Great job! Only feedback would be to make the mechs move faster.

Developer

Thank you! Destruction was the key idea behind the game.

I agree with you and Anuren. The game might do better with a faster pace. Somehow it never occured to me when I was playtesting. It's probably something I will tweak once the jam is over.

INSANE level of polish!

Robots *_* ! I love robots! The concept is really satisfying! I'd could use a bit of a faster pace and more diversity, but this has great potential! Nice work!

Wow, fantastic game! Really good and it implements the theme really well! I like how it progressively gets more difficult. It has a good range of different enemy types. And everything feels very intuitive. Well done!

I don't think I fully understood the objective, but without a doubt, going around shooting and launching rockets is just what I needed hahaha. It's very well done, the game feels great, and the explosions and destruction you can cause in the environment are incredible. Great job, congratulations!

Feels very polished, gameplay is easy to understand, but feels like it has depth to it.

Looks great, the animations are solid and it feels polished!

Really sick entry. Definitely need to play the downloaded version to get it working, but the destructible environments are an absolute blast. I wasn't entirely sure of the objective or goal, I kind of just kept running around and shooting things, but it was a great bit of mindless violence. A really fun prototype and definitely something that could be iterated on in the future.
