This was such a great experience, I was having too much fun and lost track of time. I really think you could push it further and release it!
Didn't find too many ways to brute force the gravity, it definitely made me think about how I needed to dodge and shoot around the fields. Really chaotic, kept me on my toes, and even though it's an arcade shooter I still had to really think about my next move or I'd get deleted instantly. lol
Great job 10/10. :)
Thanks so much! I really wanted gravity to feel like it genuinely affects the gameplay, making every move and shot matter, while still keeping the controls snappy and responsive. I’m thrilled to hear it kept you on your toes and made the experience fun—it’s exactly the feeling I was aiming for!
Amazing concept! the movement feels great!
Boy do i like slingshotting myself into a group of exploding squares.
Thanks! I’m really happy you enjoyed it—I wanted to create something fresh and chaotic, so it’s great to hear that it felt fun to play.
Nice game!! not much to say... good job.
Thanks a lot! I’m really glad you enjoyed it.
Really well made! The gravity mechanics feel polished and responsive. Great execution!
Thank you! I’m really glad the gravity felt right—I wanted it to be both impactful and smooth, so it’s awesome to hear that came across.
Quite fun. Took a bit to get used to the movement, but it was pretty smooth after a few minutes
Thanks! I’m glad it smoothed out for you—my goal was to make movement feel responsive while still letting the gravity mechanics have a real impact, so it’s great to hear that clicked after a bit of time.
Incredible! This is phenomenal work. I love this twist on a top-down shooter. The gravity mechanic is really clever and well executed. There's tons of content here (honestly, you could release this as a game on Steam with a bit more polish) As other players have commented, a bit more game juice in terms of hit feedback would help. I also agree with some other players that a more traditional WASD control scheme would help a lot with the movement. I found myself naturally wanting to hit A or D to strafe. Honestly though, this is incredible work! Nicely done!
Thanks so much! I’m still figuring out the controls — during testing, the W/S + mouse setup felt the smoothest to me, especially when interacting with anomalies. It also seemed to encourage players to focus more on movement and use it as part of aiming. That said, I’ve noticed the feedback is pretty mixed: some people really like it, while others find it unintuitive or restrictive. I’m honestly not 100% sure which approach works best yet, so I might try some A/B testing or experiments with different schemes in the future.
This was a lot of fun! I can really see your game being finished and published. It's polished, chaotic, and I love the vibe and music. The game definitely has potential.
Thank you! Your feedback is really motivating and inspires me to keep working on the game.
Cool game! I think the only thing it's missing are sound sound effects / feedback. When enemies die, and when you move! Some sort sound manipulation when being manipulated by gravity could be cool, and just a sound for movement in general would be great (although that's a lot for just 72hr so more suggestions for an update!) Good idea and good job!
Thanks a lot! Sound design isn’t really my strong suit — I actually tested a couple of shooting effects, but I didn’t like how they turned out, so I left it as it is for the jam. That said, I’ll definitely think about adding proper sound effects in the future — especially the idea with gravity, I hadn’t considered that before and it sounds really cool!
Really good game! It’s very enjoyable. The gravity mechanic feels great, it takes some time to get used to but once you’ve got the hang of it it feels perfect! The game feels very complete with surprisingly quite a lot of content for three days.
The music and art style fits the game perfectly and it’s very intuitive, everything is clear and the visual feedback for the player feels spot on. Great job!
Thank you so much for your kind words! I’m really glad you enjoyed the gravity mechanic — I wanted it to feel impactful but still intuitive, so it’s great to hear that it clicked after a bit of practice. I also appreciate you noticing the music and art style; I tried to make everything feel cohesive. Your feedback means a lot!
I really enjoyed the gravity mechanic collecting the EXP dropped by defeated enemies to unlock abilities made the gameplay feel more dynamic and fun. On top of that, the music choice fit the theme and gameplay perfectly great job It was genuinely fun to play.
I just think the movement system takes a bit of time to get used to. I’m normally more familiar with the WASD control scheme, so having W and S interact based on the mouse’s facing direction was a bit challenging at first, but once I got used to it, it became much more enjoyable.
Having multiple levels was a nice touch, and overall this feels like a game above the average game jam quality. Knowing you made this in just three days is honestly impressive great work
Thanks a lot for the kind words! Really glad you enjoyed the gravity mechanic and upgrade system.
As for the controls — during testing the W/S + mouse setup felt the smoothest to me, especially around anomalies, since it pushed players to use movement as part of aiming. But I’ve seen that feedback is mixed, so I’m still thinking about what works best — maybe I’ll experiment with alternative control modes later.
Really cool fast-paced shooter! Graphics are really good! Congrats!
Thanks! I’m really happy you liked it—feedback like this motivates me to keep developing and adding more to the game.
Loved the gravity mechanics! The controls where tricky and that led to more chaos trying to run away/avoid enemies whilst also battling against the gravity and movement mechanics! Great job on the game, I wish there was more variety in the gameplay, but other than that I feel like you made an excellent game!
Thank you so much! I’m really glad you enjoyed the gravity mechanics. I tried to make the controls feel smooth while still letting gravity have a real impact on gameplay, so it’s awesome to hear that it added to the chaos in a fun way. I also have ideas for adding more variety — like gravity-based bosses, special gravity events, and possibly other game modes — so hopefully future updates can explore some of that!
Awesome controls felt like I could do some crazy maneuvering. The bullet curve was a blast to play with!
Thanks! I’m really happy it felt fun to experiment with the gravity and bullet curves. I aimed to make the mechanics both challenging and responsive, so it’s great to hear it sparked some creative maneuvering!
This was really slick! The projectiles being affected by gravity I think is great because it creates room for skill expression, if that makes sense. Great job!
Thank you so much for your feedback! I wanted to bring something new to a well-established genre, so even players experienced with top-down shooters would get a fresh challenge learning the gravity mechanics. It’s great to hear that it felt engaging!
I'm a big fan of the unique gameplay. I had a fun time, and thought the unlocks provided a very nice incentive.
Thanks a lot! I’m really happy to hear you enjoyed it—I’m glad I could create a fresh, new experience for players.
Muy bueno, y muy bien trabajado
