Really chill, inviting environment.. Then all of a sudden I need to protect the dang butterfly at all cost! This was surprisingly intense! It looks simple, but it's got deep butterfly tech. Love it. lol
Thanks! So glad the butterfly protection kicked in! =) Little secret - there’s a bug where continuing sometimes removes all boids. Almost fixed it, but it felt like a hidden “mercy mode” so I left it.
Nice game.
Thank you =)
great idea! also loved the art style, minimalistic, but with personality.
Thanks! I was going for that classic vector graphics feel! Glad the minimalistic line art came through with personality =)
Such an original idea! This was a really creative interpretation of the theme. Although I am really bad at the game. I think keeping the wind constant in magnitude and direction for the starting few levels and then gradually changing it would tune the difficulty curve nicely
Thanks so much! Really appreciate the kind words about the concept =) That’s actually a great suggestion about the wind! A gradual difficulty curve with constant wind at first would definitely help with the learning process. The indirect control can be tricky to get used to.
Your creativity is impressive, and using the butterfly effect was a very clever idea. The gameplay is simple yet engaging, which I really enjoyed, and the game also feels nicely polished.
Thank you! Really glad you enjoyed the butterfly effect concept =) It was fun trying to make chaos theory into an interactive experience.
5/5 in every category except for theme. Really satisfying to play but more calm then chaotic.
Thanks for the amazing ratings! =) I went for chaos theory (butterfly effect) over visual chaos, but I can see how that reads as less “chaotic”.
ahh okay. That makes sense
Took me a bit of time (and re-reading the description) to understand the BEE must be controlled, not the triangle! But cool concept anyway !
Thanks! However, it’s a butterfly, not a bee (though I can see the confusion :D 🦋. Your feedback was super helpful. I just added a tutorial level with no enemies so players can learn the indirect control first. Really appreciate the constructive comment!
