Dude really cool idea, great imagination! Even with the deadline, you did a really good job, and I hope you get to do more jams. :)

Developer

Thank you !

Rock band! What's not to love? If you add some touch controls would be great, I can actually picture this as a mobile game. Great job overall!

Developer

Thanks!

I love the idea and how it applies to the theme! itwould've been great to play it with your music selection and so music impacts the crowd behaviour. Nicely done mate!

Developer

Thanks! Good ideas, noting them down !

Congrats for your first published game! It is chaotic alright. Almost as chaotic as real life footage.

I am a bit confused about the UI, I figured the green one is the vibe meter but what is the red bar showing ? Is it showing your velocity? If that is the case then... i mean... i can already see myself bouncing around the screen at mach 10 speed no need for a fancy bar.

Developer

Thanks!

You're correct, they are the crowd and player velocities. I wanted to more of a heart rate style/frequency meter but didn't have time to fully polish that.

This is a great start to something that could be REALLY fun!

Thank you!

The concept fits so well with the theme! Agree with other posts about the controls and the player occasionally getting stuck. But I could see this grow into a nice game!

Developer

Thanks and duly noted!

Fun concept, nice animations. what can be improved is maybe explain what things do like raise or stomp or whatever. and also maybe have some mechanics that enable strategies the player can commit to rather than just random key pressing. good job! and good luck! Maybe add some music too :D

Developer

Thanks! Didn't have much time to find and integrate open licence metal before the deadline, but I might have found some option for after the voting period. I mean, it's definitely lacking here! Energy costs, effects and score could be more explicit yes!

Love the concept! Oh man if you could find a metal band willing to make some music for this you would have a really nice prototype on your hands. Agree with some of the other players that future iterations could really help turn this game into something special. Nice work!

Developer

Thank you!

Great game! Love the concert chaos concept. The controls felt a bit challenging for me. Maybe click/right-click (or tap/two-finger tap) for Stomp/Raise could work for a touch version? Nice work!

Developer

Thanks! It's better played with a gamepad, keyboards is a bit unpractical. Good idea to try and integrate the mouse, I'll give it a though!

Love me a good mosh pit. The characters were so cute bouncing off of each. The small touch of the band animation was great!

Developer

Thanks!

Love that you have to create chaos and not fight it. Really cool concept. Fun but does get repetitive quick. Also i didnt understant what the raise button does. Great entry either way

Developer(+1)

Thank you! Raise attracts all others towards you, as an attempt to make a "follow me" influence and create pattern. But it's clearly the least interesting/fun of actions imho.

I really like the idea behind your game. It's a fun concept, and it's really cool to see how you can cause chaos at any moment and send everyone flying in all directions. I didn't quite understand how points are earned, but I think it's a good prototype to continue experimenting with. Congratulations!

Developer

Thanks! It's the overall velocity of the crowd and the player, it's also reflected on the green and red bars, but that could probably made more explicit.
