I love the setting, I think you nailed the horse racing theme with the visuals and sounds. Is it purely chance or is there a way to know which horse to bet on? I lost all my races haha.

Nice visual feedback on clicking the button and getting gold.

Great idea, whacking a pinata as a incremental game! I dont think I have seen a clicker game with physics before. The animations of the UI was really smooth and I liked the color scheme. Minimalistic and clean!

Nice use of the limitation, in rodeos you just control the horse with one hand! I got to the 6th horse and felt like it became impossibly fast haha! I dont want to know how fast the last one is.

You managed to pack a lot of content in only a weekend! With interiors and shops as well, very impressive!

Nice game! Satisfying sound effects and clear and cute visuals!

Ah I thought I was able to fix that bug, apparently not. Thank you for playing!

Awesome, glad you had fun! Thanks for stopping by! :)

Uh oh, that does not sound good :D What do you mean by death spiral?

Never mind, it just took a minute

I have submitted our game twice now, and a window appeared saying that the game was submitted.
But I cannot see anywhere else that it has been submitted? Any way to confirm it was successful?

Thank you for writing such helpful reviews on the games you play, it's great for improving!

I agree with all of your criticisms, especially your wish about the sushis always being visible (but I couldnt find the space). Thanks for playing!

I hope you enjoyed, thanks for playing! And you are probably right, I might have shrinked the collision sizes at one point and forgot to resize them.

It was satisfying trying to navigate the platforms while switching colors, it makes for a great puzzle game. The colors were just a bit harsh which made me dizzy when switching between them. Other than that, a really smart idea!

Great implementation of the theme! Good job!

The final fight was too hard for me! It was fun though, took a little while to get into it but the gameplay loop is solid.

Cool game! The ball mode was great, and cute sound effects when picking up coins.

Thank you for playing! Hopefully it was not too dizzying :D

ARIGATO, Nullnae-san.

Thank for your review! I agree with you, there should be some kind of goal! I think I set the win condition at 80 orders which is way too high.

My goal was to have 0 text in the tutorial and make the game intuitive :) so you can cancel with right click but I missed to convey that.

Thanks again!

Congrats! Worthy winner!!

Godot <3

Completely understandable, I am surprised you managed to fit so much into the game with the short timespan already!

I tried it once more and could proceed! Interesting mechanics and soothing puzzle game, I felt so relaxed while figuring stuff out, haha.

If you want a tip about the lagging in the web build: The godot web builds lag a lot when loading gpu particles for the first time. So every time a new gpu particle is instantiated, the lag will occur. So what I do is I have a scene with all of my gpu particles and I make the scene completely black. When the game first starts, this scene loads for ~1 second, plays all gpu particles in the dark, then the actual game starts.
When playing no lags will appear from gpu particles :)

Thanks, now I got it!

Thank you I learned a lot about juice this jam! I didn't have that much time this weekend so my goal was to have a simple game and then juice it up as much as possible! Tween it, baby! And add sound effects for everything!

Thank you! I used this shader: https://godotshaders.com/shader/distortion/ Im not sure if it only works in godot or not. But I highly recommend that website if you do :)

Okay let me start off by saying that this is fantastic. The controls are 10/10. It feels fast and snappy but I always feel in control of the characters movement. Visually, it is gorgeous. The important stuff is highlighted, the puzzles are intuitive, with a fast pace I could run through the levels while doing the puzzles which made me feel super smart. The functions of the different fruits are both very creative and fits in the gameplay perfectly. For a game made in 2 days this is superb.

I was going to say that it was a shame that there was no audio, but while writing I saw your screenshots, revisited the game and turned it on and it seems great. Why is it off by default, turn that banger all the way up!!!

The only negative I can say is that personally I feel a bit too punished when I have to restart the whole level because I missed the timing of an apple, instead of a new apple respawning.

Summary: For 2 days it doesn't get much better than this, incredible work. Also, making a game jam game this intuitive is not easy.

Also, loved the art!

Surprisingly satisfying and relaxing to just listen to the music and sort fruit.

Good looking game! I got stuck in the tree, haha

The game really has a playful, colorful style which made it very fun. The music helped a lot with this as well, it was great.

How the tables have turned! Would have been a great entry to the GMTK 2023 game jam with the theme "Roles reversed" :D Super creative.

I beat it! This is my favorite implementation of the theme, actually provoking deja vu feelings. I also got major nostalgia because the game reminded me of Amnesia the dark descent, haha! Nicely done.

Such a cool concept! I have seen similar games where your previous ghost repeats after you die, but i have never seen a game where you can interact with the ghost.

I love me some wario ware! The repeated sound effects could be improved by varying them a little bit. Either by cycling through 2-3 different sound effects or just changing the pitch scale each time it plays.

I got the sacred apple! :)

The game is great, everything comes together nicely; music, art, feeling, sound... But let me complement you on another thing. Your game page is AMAZING! It clearly shows how to play the game, looks fantastic, and you have included a walkthrough, really helpful!!

It looks really promising with cool art and animations but I agree with previous comments that some kind of tutorial would be nice. Any chance you could add it to the game description? :)

Nice level design, felt nice to explore. Great music as well! A quality of life suggestion would be to able to move while holding the buttons instead of pressing it every time.
